"Supermama is a funky, free-spirited, independently owned art, design, and souvenir boutique on Beach Road. The husband-and-wife co-owners design and/or manufacture their own line of collaborative products, including limited-edition magazines, colorful tabi socks, and porcelain plates depicting classic Singaporean motifs like the Merlion or Supertrees. It's a good spot to pick up unique but affordable gifts from abroad for your expectant friends (think coloring books, calendars, dishware, pillows, and conversation-sparking coffee table books)." - Ashlea Halpern

This has to be the go-to place to get beautiful and meaningful gifts for overseas friends. Because every design tells a story of Singapore. I can’t think of a better artistically crafted gift shop than this in Singapore to get value for money gifts for those who appreciate history and art.

You can find nice local design craft here! I hope I can find more places of Singaporean local design like here.

Supermama has been around in the local scene for awhile, with the brand being in the consciousness of savvy Singaporeans. I'd been aware of their offerings for some time now, although I had never admittedly had much interaction with their brand. With the latest Nanyang collection, I truly appreciated how Supermama contributes to Singapore's history keeping and design landscape, in a tasteful and intentional manner. Most of all, I was deeply gratified by Supermama's gracious and humble attitude in taking the time to explain the entire process of their craft to me, and taking in customer feedback without being overly defensive and immediately casting the blame onto the customer. Their brand has grown leaps and bounds but their service is as personal and warm as I imagine how it was when they first started out; they took great efforts to accommodate and make amends, and for all these reasons above I am super confident in their growth as a local brand! Supermama's dedication to service is what makes them a notch above other local brands, and for that reason I am super confident and hopeful for their future growth :) Would like to personally commend Priscilla and Justine for their warmth and attention.

Local store seeing Singapore products made in collaboration with Japanese artisans such as Kihara. Always worth a visit to check out the new products brought in.

Visited Singapore and was looking forward to visiting this store. When I arrived I was disappointed to see so little products and I asked if there was more products like their online store. The staff then told me that there was more products in the other store which is located in the Asian Civilization Museum. The staff wasn’t the most friendliest to be honest hence the 3 stars.
