I am so unobservant! How did I not know that this splendid place has been open in my neighborhood for over 2 years?!?! Just lovely inside and out. My group of friends and I had a really nice time trying their great selection of brews and I even took home a bottle of Saison Bay View for later on. They have outdoor seating that I am looking forward to relaxing on for many days after work this summer. The bartendress was knowledgeable and super friendly. We'll definitely be back now that I know this hidden gem is nearby.

Super chill vibe in this lovely space to try some new beers. Came with a group and had plenty of room to sit and chat while we tried almost all of the 8 beer varieties being offered. Most everyone really liked their choices. Some barrel aged offerings and a couple of collaborations with other brewers. Careful, if you don't know it's there, you'll drive right by. Check it out for yourself.

Finally made our way to our closest neighbor craft brewery Supermoon! They specialize in rustic, funky & barrel fermented beers along with European classics. Grabbed half pours of: Groomer Sensitive King Barbou Inkhorn Everything was great and can’t wait to try some of their other offerings soon!

Push the door. I promise it will open if there are people inside 😉 This was really fun...my first time here. They've been open since Halloween weekend 2022... he's been brewing since 2020. Claire was our hostess with the mostess. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We went on a Saturday. There is also a back room and fridge full of items for purchase that isn't pictured. I sampled a few and really enjoyed my beer. Be sure to check them out! 2nd visit was just was just as great

Google
This brewery was a very pleasant surprise on our recent visit to town. The server was very friendly and helpful. All the beers were incredibly good - these are well made saison focused beers not commonly found at most breweries.

Really good beer. If you like some funk and uniqueness to the brews you drink, this is the place for you. I liked them so much I brought a few bottles home.

Google
Well this was a treat. Not sure I'm able to wrap my head and taste buds around these brews in a single visit. There is a lot going on here. Blending creates some pretty unique flavors, likewise some creative hopping and fermenting. Will definitely be back. Also need to give a shout to bartender, super guy, very engaging and knowledgeable. 🎅👍

Google
Very neat place with good music. Their beers are all god and have some unique touch to it, making it different from usual in a good way. The place is in a kind of residential area, and the venue has a homey feel to it. It's worth visiting for sure!

Yelp
Was the first time I was at this brewery but definitely won't be my last! Definitely a little local neighborhood place and you feel so cozy and welcome when you walk in. It's a place to gather with friends, not just somewhere to go drink to excess which is rare these days in the brewery scene. Loved that the bartender gave us a sample of almost everything on the menu and even made suggestions based off what we said we liked. Loved the retro tasting glasses, but I love the logo for the brewery even more. Took some beer home with us and can't wait to go back again!

Yelp
This is such a great, chill little neighborhood beer stube. It's usually not crowded or loud, and this increases its' appeal. The interior is clean and uncluttered and spare. Dog friendly! We bring in our pup (as long as she behaves!) The beer is great. It's heavy on lighter ales and pilsners that I like with reasonable ABVs. Doesn't seem to be a lot of IPAs or super heavy, dark beers. The staff is unfailingly friendly and attentive. This is a real neighborhood gem!

Yelp
The vibe is very newer hipster in a cozy area. The sleek counter and taps / glassware meets windows and chairs that might be in your house. It is, at after all, in a house. The single staff member was cool. It was a Saturday afternoon and 2 other people were there. I've previously looked at the menu and not gone in because they didn't have stouts or IPAs, the main beers I drink. My semi-hipster coworker mentioned this was his favorite brewery in Milwaukee so I looked at the menu and it had a pale ale and a dark heavy beer on draft. The online menu said the exact minute it was updated so that gave me a false sense of accuracy, even if it was last updated 3-4 weeks ago. Unfortunately the beers I wanted weren't there. I might also recommend adding a one word descriptor on the menu to the bottles and cans section. I know there's a detailed subpage on the website. The bottles and cans design is semi-retro and aesthetically pleasing. The beer itself is more interesting than anything else. They are more unique / fun; I want to try a half pour- less I would buy a 6 pack. I do like that you can get half pours of them all for about half the price!

Yelp
Highlights 1) Cool Ambiance 2) Outside Seating 3) Friendly Staff Stopped in to Supermoon this past weekend. Wow! What a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The ambiance of Supermoon is homey but also trendy. Love that they are leaning into the old house/BayView vibe. A few board games are available inside which is always an added bonus! They have a platform set up in the road (sectioned off) with picnic tables so room for about 3 tables of 6 outside which is great. Staff is super friendly and nice! You can tell they just like to be there. When we were there they were doing a pop up with local restaurant, Braise. I've seen other fun events listed on Instagram so I feel like Supermoon is really trying to be a part of the community. Fantastic! My only recommendation to the business is to add at least one gluten-free alcoholic option. Current GF options are all NA - La Croix and Spindrift (flavored sparkling water) and. House made kombucha. All delicious but all NA! Can't wait to be back!

Yelp
This place is great for farmhouse ales in fancy glasses - it was the third stop on our Milwaukee beer crawl so admittedly I do not recall which beers I sampled, but they were both delicious and my family members each enjoyed their choices as well. This small brewery is cozy and inviting, like hanging out at your friend's house. There is a nice outdoor area with tables as well when the weather cooperates. There was one bartender who was doing an excellent job keeping up with the steady stream of visitors while we were there - check it out!

Yelp
Another local gem checked off our brewery bucket list! Made it here the other day with the pup. Clean and modern inside, with a great little parklet patio. The weather was beautiful, so we sat outside. Dogs are allowed inside too since there is no food service, making it a great spot for us year round. The bartender was super helpful with beer suggestions, it being our first time there. She also brought out a bowl of water for Huey, which is always thoughtful. The beers are unique and varied, and we look forward to coming back to try more!

Yelp
Lovely Bay View spot with a unique selection of beers! I'm a fan of this spot's funky lineup of beers (think fermented ales, saisons, etc.). Everything is unique on the menu and thus far I've been impressed with everything I've tried. Service is super friendly and the space feels very communal. They do lots of pop up events which is fun too!

Yelp
Supermoon is one of our new favorite Milwaukee breweries! Their beers are all fantastic and expertly crafted, focusing on different types of fermentation and barrel aging to produce unique beers you won't find anywhere else. Some of our favorites have included a fruit beer with Door County cherries, been aged in French wine barrels, or a seasonal wet-hopped farmhouse style saison. Supermoon is definitely a hidden gem in their cozy Bay View taproom. There is currently indoor and outdoor seating available. The brewery is open on release weekends - definitely follow them on Instagram for their most up to date information and to find out about new releases! We are looking forward to seeing Supermoon grow and we are very grateful to have them as part of the neighborhood!

Yelp
Supermoon Beer Company in Bayview has been putting out great bottled beer to order for about a year, and their focus is mixed fermentation, farmhouse-style beer, such as the Deux Ex Forager with Door County Montmorency cherries, or the refreshing Wettenhop. Many of their beers are aged in French Oak wine barrels, and you gotta love a place that explores their craft off the beaten craft beer path, such as funky Farmhouse Saisons. Follow them on Instagram for the latest release news, I picked up an order of beer this past fall, and the owner said they were close to getting approval to build out their taproom in their homey 1902 building. Can't wait for their taproom to open- support Supermoon!

Yelp
What a lovely find in Bay View! When I saw that Pizza Ortolana was having a pop-up at Supermoon I thought this would be a great chance to check out both businesses and once and they both hit the spot. Just south of Oklahoma on Howell, Supermoon has a nice array of beers on tap and doggies are welcome with their humans. There's a nice outside seating area which is quiet and pleasant. On the green line bus route.

Yelp
The bartender is friendly and knowledgeable. The beers were outstanding! The atmosphere itself is clean, bright, and comfortable. It really doesn't get much better than this as a neighborhood bar. They take great care making fantastic beer and they appreciate their customers. The bartender even put on Crowbar as we closed down the bar.

Yelp
I visited Supermoon Beer Co today. I visit craft breweries as a hobby. Supermoon's selections reminded me of Funk Factory Geuzeria in Madison or Afterthought in Lombard (without the price gouging). This is a more speciality brewery with a brand of saison that you won't see in any of the major breweries or usually in the cooler at your local mainstream grocery or liquor store. This is artisan work. It was quaint to visit such a small operation hosted in a house in the middle of a neighborhood where the internal location is gutted and being renovated at the time of this review. They had a table at the front door with a variety of bottles and four on tap to drink. They had built an extra deck that extended into the street with seating. My server was a kind gent who gently let me know that they only take credit and no cash. I got a pint of saison for $7.42 and drank it in front on the deck. It matched its description with some notes of apricot & was mild in taste. Generally good. No brewery stickers when asked. No Wi-Fi. It looks like they are still growing and in some transition.

Yelp
Supermoon is becoming one of my favorite local breweries. I used to drink mostly wine then I became a craft beer snob. I had a long IPA period and now I'm more into sours and saisons. I've probably been to about 80% of the MIlwaukee breweries. There is something very pure about their beer, it doesn't affect me as negatively as other breweries. Maybe its the way it's made. I also enjoy going here because it has a chill grown up atmosphere. As a single woman I appreciate that there is no mysogeny. The bartenders also will give you samples to try before commiting to a pint. And shoutout for the beautiful space and charming oil lamps.
