Sur Hotel

The best option in Sur. Ideal for those traveling by bus, as it's just a few meters from the Mwasalat bus stop. The price is fair, and the room quality is excellent. The bed is comfortable and has a good view from the front. It's close to the traditional souq, the beach, and walking distance to the bridge. The best part was the service. All the reception staff and the housekeeper were very polite and helpful. I've rarely been so warmly welcomed.

They do their best - it's an older hotel with no lift but the room is comfortable and it's in a good location. The manager, Mr Nasser, was very friendly.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. We were traveling around the region and had the opportunity to use various similarly priced accommodations in this region of Oman. Having such experience, we rate the quality of services provided by Sur Hotel Oman very highly. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. The large bathroom had all the necessary utensils. The staff was very nice and helpful, right after entering, a very nice employee offered us cold water. There is a large selection of tasty breakfasts. The hotel's location is very good, right in the city center. We definitely recommend staying at this hotel! Best regards!

Great big room with a mini fridge and comfy bed. The best part was the man working reception when I came in the afternoon. Just the nicest and most welcoming guy! Breakfast was great too. There's free parking in the front of the hotel. If you don't have a car then there's restaurants nearby

The Sur Hotel does not profess to be the Ritz. But it delivers an excellent value for money service for travellers to rest their weary heads as they travel down from Muscat, enroute to the Turtles and round into the desert.||The Manager so helpful and friendly. Advice, bags from the car. Just what you want. The hotel has plenty of nearby parking and is ideally placed in the centre of this traditional Omani town. Check out the beach, the Dow making area and the lighthouse.||Would have no hesitation in recommending, especially the Arabic breakfast. Thank you.

Very good hotel at best location possible to stay. I liked my stay. Near and clean change sheets everyday m. Hot water and specially best pancakes and French toast breakfast I enjoyed.

very outdated rooms, you can see the unclean spots on the AC and fridge , the carpet is quite dirty as well . i spent a horrible night as sime machines were running at midnight had to go down and ask the front desk to stop them ... didnt help much others were srill running... anyway for the same prise or almost go grand hotel wich i end up going next day much much better yes bit far from city center but worth it.

this is the oldest hotel in Sur (1984) and has an amazing location in the centre of the city, close to everything. The rooms are standard and we had a pleasant stay for two nights. Naseer working in the reception is a cool guy and very helpful with any questions you have about Sur/Oman.
