Yelp
My friends and I went here on a Friday around 5:30pm and it wasn't too busy (though the place started to fill up by 6pm). We shared the seafood pancake, beef galbi, pork galbi, gamja tang, ssam set, and makgeolli. We first got served banchan while we waited, which included the seaweed, dried squid, and kimchi. The banchan was fairly basic and a little bit lacking in selection compared to other Korean places, but they were solid.
Seafood pancake - a bit thick with a bit too much batter and green onions, while the squid and shrimp were a bit lacking (each piece had at most 1-1.5 pieces of one of them).
Beef galbi - the beef quality is pretty good, with the onions a bit caramelized as they sit in the grill. I personally preferred this over the pork galbi.
Pork galbi - the pork is a bit on the fatty side, though it was still a solid option.
Gamja tang - the soup was not that spicy, and they give a lot of vegetables. I really liked the almost melt in your mouth texture of the meat.
Ssam set - it looked like it was just lettuce, garlic, and sauce so this was not really worth the $7, but it did somewhat amplify the experience of wrapping the meats we ordered.
Makgeolli - this was fairly standard ones you find at a grocery store, but they serve it the more legitimate way - in a chilled teapot with ice that you can pour into a bowl. This added to the dining experience.
Service was decent, though a bit lacking when it got a bit busier which was acceptable. Hot tea refills were regular, though it would have been better if they gave us a new jug of hot tea for us to pour instead of them just pouring small amounts to refill our cups. They were nice enough to give us additional pancake with sauce in the shape of a Yelp logo as an apology for splashing some soy sauce, so we ended up pretty full for the amount of food we got for 6 people.
