I booked the wrong hotel and landed here, it was a bit out of my style as it is quite old and tarnished.
BUT, and yes , it's a big but, the young girl at the front desk really did her best to make the stay as comfortable as possible.
Although, at times it was difficult for her to help, as she had obviously not been fully trained to do her given tasks, not her fault, but poor management!
Two examples, 1st: some guests asked for bicycles as it was advertised that guests could borrow them to cycle around the city, she was not aware of this so they had to walk.
2nd:
I asked for a key to the Stamina gym, but she said it was closed at first, and it is advertised that it's open almost all of the time.
She then tried to contact other staff members,
but at no help.
Finally she figuered it out and I got to go to the gym..
Again, not her fault, sha had not been trained and it's totally understandable during summer periods.
Regarding the breakfast, there was only two things I actually could eat. Not the biggest breakfast serving, but also not the biggest hotel so no worries
I'd bet small families would enjoy themselves here, but it didn't fit my business purpose.
