Sure Hotel by Best Western Ole Tobias

We weren’t all that impressed with the hotel from the out side (it does need a facelift outside) and weren’t expecting that much but we were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room, though it is pricey for the standard and size of the room. We had been traveling up through Norway by car (we live in Norway but were coming from the south) for almost 14 hours. We had phoned ahead to say that we would be arriving sometime after 6pm as requested in the booking. We asked the man on the phone if there was somewhere we could eat as we were really hungry and looking forward to drinks and food. He recommended the restaurant right opposite (the no 3) but failed to mention that you need to book tables and when we went in we were just flatly refused a table and the guy in the there wasn’t particularly customer focused when we explained that we were in the hotel opposite. I feel that the hotel should have a deal with the restaurant that if people want food they can book a table for people traveling. Besides that, the room we stayed in, was lovely, it is at the top of the building so was really hot and they should provide a fan in the room, as It was really hot that day also. We were allowed to bring the cat in with us which was definitely a plus for us. The breakfast was okay, it was a 2 star kind of breakfast, we ate what we was there but had to find food not much longer after that, it wasn’t filling. Overall though, it wasn’t a bad experience, the staff were nice and another big plus was the comfort of the bed. We had a really great sleep, which was the most important thing for us as we were traveling t he next day for another 10 hours.

The hotel is cosy and functional, nothing fancy. The thing that really stands out and earns it the "Excellent" from me, is the self-service waffle making station in the dining hall. With a selection of jams and Norwegian brown cheese to go with the waffles, it made a super-nice end of our evening. It was supposed to be open from 16 to 21:00, but we arrived there 20:55 and were told to just relax and enjoy. "I will be around until midnight anyway", the girl on the evening shift told us. That's service :-)

We sleep one night in Mo I Rana, this place is not fancy but practical and have pretty much what you need for an ok price.||The decoration and the theme take you to a trip In the past, the walls and corridors are full of history, pictures, old instruments used in that time, etc,etc.||Mo I Rana is well know for the industrial impulse of the iron and the aluminum. ||The construction of the train is the center theme of the hotel. ||The hotel have WiFi and breakfast, gluten free options, not sugar free marmalade or lactose free yogurts, which is served in the basement which looks like the train, very curious. ||The staff is kind and smiley. ||You have some diners around, supermarket and som pubs. ||I enjoy the stay.| |

WORST HOTEL STAY EVER! There was no heating in the room when I arrived and the wires from the radiator heater were not secured. I asked the receptionist for another room, but she didn't want to, even though the hotel was almost empty. She turned the heater on and it took 6 (six) hours for the room to get warm. The breakfast was untouchable. There was almost nothing to choose from! I had to go to the hotel next door and pay 25 euros for breakfast. No service, no apology, no nothing! STAY AWAY!

Had a 3 night stay here. Room was good and breakfast was great with many choices.|From Monday to Thursday the hotel offers complementary dinner (as we arrived Thursday we got pasta which was good).|Every evening you have access to the restaurant to make waffles.|Coffee and tea are available every day at any time.|We had a good experience!

I like this place ,relaxing, really. My room was very clean ,excellent shower .welcoming hot waffles downstairs in a really cool dining area .Staff are kind smart and attentative.

We got stuck in a snow storm and only arrived at the hotel by 5 am. However when I called ahead, the owner assured me that this was not a problem and he arranged for us to pick up the key when we finally arrived. Very accommodating, very comfortable.
