Food was decent- I found it average- but the prices are high… you will add 23% to the price listed on the menu- which makes it high for the overall food you are getting. The Penne a la Vodka were undone - with some part of the pasta hard enough you could not chew it. The bowl was good. Will try some other place next time we are there.

We loved SurfBox! The açaí bowls, homemade bagels & lox, and tacos were all super fresh and delicious. Great coffee, chill vibe, and friendly staff— the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or grabbing a drink. Will definitely be back on our next trip!

This place was not too far from our hotel so we took an Uber who agreed to pick us up in an hour. On the outside the place was nice and clean and just as well on the inside. The service from our server was probably my favorite part. He greeted us with a smile, answered questions about the menu, and was an overall pleasant person to encounter. The food was plentiful and filling without that heavy feel. My favorite of the food and drink was the mint lemonade. So refreshing! I wish it came in a green apple mint flavor as well. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially to those within a short distance. It was a nice change of scenery.

Our friends took us here last week (twice) and it was yummy!! Service was spot on. (We actually got the same server) Food was great! The Happy Meal (sandwich) was hella good. So good, yet so simple. Those little hash brown triangles - YUM! The Ricotta Pancakes were huge at the table - YUM! All was good. The view is great. We sat outside on the patio. Great tunes too. Defiantly coming back on our next visit.

This was a very convenient brunch spot for us as it was within walking distance from our condo. The view of the marina was pretty. We were seated very quickly and our food came quickly as well. We sat outside and the fans kept us cool enough. I got the açaí bowl and my partner got the French toast. The food had great presentation but tasted average.

Food was good, but not fantastic. I think we were expecting a little more. That being said one of the better restaurants in the neighborhood. Great location and beautiful views.

What a fantastic place right at the Marina Flamingo. An incredible selection of dishes on the menu. Our dishes were excellent, and the other dishes that passed our table looked equally fabulous. Leave room for coffee; even being a country known for coffee, the Surf Box had the most amazing coffee (for a great dessert option, try the espresso with ice cream). It definitely should be on your list to try.

What an excellent meal. A great mix of American staples and Costa Rican specialties.
