Surf Exchange Cafe

The folks at Surf Exchange Cafe have created a really great spot that’s authentically Rhode Island and that’s raising the bar for other local establishments in a solid way. I’m so happy to finally have a place to go for good food (Seven Stars) and coffee (Bolt) after a surf in Point Judith. Their consideration to the local surf scene by creating a place that is truly a gathering space makes it stand out as not just a cafe but a catalyst for building community, welcoming visitors, and chatting to both strangers and locals. Support this place and tell your friends about it!

Got their wood fired pizza, half fig half marg. For the kid, and both sides were delicious. Flavors for both were great and everyone ate it all up! The crust was light and chewy. Forgot to take a pre photo but here’s an empty box!

I had an amazing breakfast sandwich and coffee here. I wish I would had taken a photo but I scarfed it down too quickly. Bacon, egg and jack cheese on fresh ciabatta bread. Their baked goods are sourced by one of my favorite bakeries in RI Seven Stars. They are one of the most community oriented spaces I have been in and they attract such friendly people. They even allowed my chihuahua in the shop. They also have many community events support local artist and surfing in a very authentic and meaningful way. Owners are lovely people and they make you feel immediately welcome. Don’t miss this spot! Ohh and if you need a pair fins or a a bar of wax they have that too!!

Great vibes & great people! Would absolutely recommend stopping in for a coffee or breakfast snack if youre in the area. They also serve up the best seltzer this side of the sakonnet river! Cant wait to try the pizza next time. Thanks for an awesome time!

This place is adorable! Extremely friendly staff, awesome baked goods/ bagel sandwiches and the perfect place to grab a coffee on your way to the beach! Highly recommend!

We stopped in for coffee and a snack. Staff are very nice and attentive. Charming atmosphere, coffee and snacks were excellent. When we are in the area, this is definitely a go to spot.

Friendly staff, great food and atmosphere. Definitely a spot worth making the trip for on a beautiful day or post surf bite to eat. They also do awesome community events in the evenings showing surf movies highlighting local surfers.
