Surf House Chicama is awesome! I made the decision to stay there based on the good reviews, and it is an excellent place to stay: - great information and communication prior to arrival, which helps you prepare for your stay - excellent help with booking transport, sorting surf board and wetsuit hire, and booking surf guides and boats, to ensure you get the most out of your stay and the waves - amazing location overlooking the bay that gives you a great view of the surf - comfortable clean rooms - public kitchen which is well equipped - great breakfast Most importantly, there is a warm and welcoming vibe, set by Katia and the team, which makes it a fun and comfortable place to stay, as well as to meet other travellers / surfers. ...and of course, the waves are world class ;)

Absolutely fantastic stay! The hotel is spotless, with excellent facilities and even a fully equipped kitchen for guests to use. The location couldn’t be better—right on the beachfront with stunning views. What truly made the experience special was the owner, Jesús. He is incredibly warm, welcoming, and knew every guest by name. You can really feel how much he cares. Highly recommended!

I can for five days and stayed over a month. Chicama is a magical place and Surf House Chicama became like a second home. Great people and great waves. I’ll be back!!

Absolutely incredible place to stay, could not recommned it highly enough!! Comfy beds, clean rooms, hot showers, great wifi and the best view in Chicama of the surf, whats not to love. Katia the owner is super friendly and helpful with anything you need and has all the best knowledge for boat hires, surfboards and lots of other activities to do in Chicama aside from surfing. The staff are also amazing and will cook a healthy and delicious breakfast every morning and will also do lunches or dinners on request. A local masseuse also comes by daily to offer affordable massages which are perfect after lots of surfing and paddling. If you want to cook your own food the hotel has a massive kitchen free to use at anytime to cook meals and store your own food which is great if prefer to cook for yourself. Additionally there's a "chill out" room for watching movies, stretching or for if you want a quiet space to read or do some work. And of course for all the surfers looking for a place to stay, the hotel has a huge variety of boards and wetsuits for hire. There's also an outdoor shower for washing down all your gear after a surf 🏄🏼‍♀️ Can't wait to stay at Surf House Chicama again!

If you come to Chicama, Surf House Chicama is the place to stay. A perfect place to enjoy the waves and relax, breakfast is delicious and healthy. Katia made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

Surf House is an amazing place, with the best vibe in Chicama!! The location couldn't be better, right in front of the waves, and the breakfast is delicious. The beds are comfortable and it's perfect for solo travellers. The absolute highlight is Katia ad the staff - she is the best possible host you can imagine, and will make your stay wonderful. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Chicama Surf House for 3 nights. We booked a garden view room. Room was comfortable and quiet. We are both surfers so the surfboard storage out back and outdoor shower were very handy. My favorite part about this hotel is the front lounge area. It is a nice place to hang out, enjoy your breakfast (nice breakfast included) in the mornings or hang in the hammocks. You have a good view of the beach and waves. The owner Catia is very accommodating and communicates well. We ended up staying an extra night in Malabrigo and she was unfortunately fully booked. She allowed us to keep our surfboards at the hotel use their facilities even though we were staying somewhere else. She even had us over for Pizza night. Highly recommend Chicama Surf House. Highly recommend Surf house Chicama! Katia is an amazing host and is incredibly helpful for everything throughout our stay. The room was clean, spacious, and had an incredible view of the surf break. The surf house had a great atmosphere, and was clearly the busiest in town (in a good way with plenty of space, the town can otherwise be very quiet!). The breakfast was tasty each morning. We will absolutely be returning when next in Chicama! Thank you!
