Surf in Comporta

We had an amazing experience with Surf in Comporta! The surf lessons were fantastic – great instructors for both adults and kids. So caring, well-prepared, and made us feel completely safe in the water. Everything was super well organized. We’re already looking forward to our next time. Highly recommended!

One of our most amazing experiences in Portugal!!! It was the my (and my daughter’s - 8 and 10yo) first time surfing and we all had a blast and got up on the board! The beach was perfect for beginners and not too crowded and the instructors are INCREDIBLE! They are so warm and encouraging and made us feel at ease. Surf In Comporta is an independent, family run company with passionate instructors. Our family travels a lot and this is one of the best run experiences we have participated in. The whole experience is bespoke and doesn’t feel too touristy. Highly recommend! Just book it (even if you’re not that athletic, like me!)

Daniel was warm, hospitable and passionate about the history of Portugal! The paddle boarding was approachable and not nearly as hard as I thought. It’s worth going just to listen to Daniel’s stories!

My friend and I had a really lovely experience and a lot of fun!! Ana has been super kind in helping us coordinating the logistics and our too teachers really supportive. All of us succeed in standing up while it was our first attempt. I definitely recommend it!

All three of my children went surfing yesterday and had a blast! The instructors were fantastic - really encouraging and helped them get up many times! The surf shack is right on the beach which makes for an easy experience - wetsuits and boards are included in the price. Would highly recommend!

Just brilliant! Luis & B are fantastic instructors, and our group of 12 had a great experience. While surfing, we even saw dolphins! Thank you both for a great experience and many happy memories

We really enjoyed our surf lessons with Luis from Surf in Comporta over Easter. Booking and communication was super easy and friendly with Ana and the beach where lessons take place is wonderful. Conditions were quite different on each of the four days we surfed but felt well prepared and safe in Luis' experienced presence. My two sons and I all made significant progress (we feel) over the lessons and had a great time. We can full-heartedly recommend lessons with the surf school and will try to go back soon.
