Surf Shack Burgers & Wings

We went to Surf shack for burgers from the beach. The vibe is really cool, with a million surf boards for decor. The service was also good. The burgers were great, they went stacked up so it’s not the easiest to eat. The best burgers are the sloppy ones anyway. The prices are very reasonable as well. Can definitely recommend!

We’ve had a lot of good in Costa Rica but for me this one was the very best. All of the other meals have kinda blended together in my memory but this one stands out! Seated facing the ocean with amazing prices, sweet caring service and awesome food…don’t miss this gem!!

Amazing burger place! Such a fun area too, right by the beach down a little path from town. The decorations and vibe were so beachy and the prices were very reasonable for what you got—the burgers were HUGE. Could easily feed two people.

Okay takeout wings, not as crispy as I would have liked despite eating them shortly after being prepared. The sauces were tasty, favorite was honey garlic

Beach side burger spot with character! We appreciated the open air ambiance just off of the beach. Service was friendly and prompt even while they served a very large group of unexpected guests.

Staff was excellent. We were seated right away. Atmosphere was definitely surf shack vibe, but very very clean. Don’t pass this place up just because of the “location” because the food is very good!

the food was fine, my fries tasted a lot like oil but they were ok. maybe not worth the price but fine. the service was ABYSMAL. i ordered fries and a milkshake and it took an HOUR to get either, the server was nice but it just took forever for my food. you can get better fries with less wait time somewhere else, wouldn’t recommend.

Got the breakfast burger with a poutine. Amazing! I had been craving a poutine for a few days. The burger was massive. The shack sauce is awesome. Fair prices and the service was amazing. My new fav burger place when I come to Tamarindo!
