Surf Synergy was incredible! Highly recommended if you love being outdoors to surf and also partaking in the wellness benefits. Best decision I’ve made on an impromptu trip. I met life long friends and learned how to better be with myself and more present. Great staff, they are absolutely world class! The food was incredible, it is vegan paradise as the chef is so talented in cooking for various meal preferences and cuisines.

We traveled to Surf Synergy with 18 family members ages 2-70 and the memories and experiences we shared will last forever. We stayed in Case Cielo which is a stunning private home on the Surf Synergy property. Each meal was better than the next. The staff is incredible, knowledgeable, healing and kind. Learning to surf together was a highlight of the trip and something we looked forward to each day. Everything was perfectly planned and executed. We slept great and felt refreshed and it was a perfect balance of wellness, activities and relaxation. If you want a trip filled with powerful experiences this is it! Jeri and Shaun

Surf Synergy is something you can’t fully understand until you go. I thought we were just going to surf… but found out quickly there was so much more depth to it. Their approach to your overall wellness was surprising, robust and a real differentiator compared to similar experiences. The staff is incredible and treat you like family, often joining you for meals and entertainment because they want to, not out of obligation. The food is absolutely incredible, Michelin worthy and prepared with ultra clean local ingredients. The surf coaching is world class and they had all of us up and riding our first ever waves on day one. We all progressed well beyond our expectations and solidified surfing as a repeatable activity. On site Yoga, meditation, massage, breath work and contrast therapy left us feeling refreshed and renewed despite the intense physical effort surfing required. The only disappointment was having to leave.

My week at Surf Synergy was hands down the best travel experience. I arrived to the airport solo meeting at friend at Surf Synergy and felt comfortable and safe from the moment I landed in San Jose to arriving at Surf Synergy. The immediate sensation of inclusion and community was overwhelmingly comforting. This place is unlike any other, I felt as though I had made a second family! I can’t say enough positive things about the entire staff at Surf Synergy. Each and every staff member went above and beyond, the surf instructors were amazing and it blew me away going from never having surfed to catching many waves! The accommodations were incredible, the people were even more incredible, the food was amazing, the itinerary was impressively structured, the excursions were top notch and overall was a 10/10. From solo travelers, family, couples and friends Surf Synergy is a perfect place for anyone to fit into. I feel blessed to have stumbled upon this place! These people genuinely care about your improvement, development and experience. A little piece of heaven.

If one word could sum up the incredible week at Surf synergy, it would be “synergy.” They have the most incredible experience, facilities, location and, most importantly, their staff. From the first moments off the plane, Surf Synergy makes sure all your needs are met. They bring you in and treat you as family. As stated, synergy is exactly what they have going in the food they grow, the connection to the ocean, the connection to beautiful Costa Rica, the connection to the staff, and the connection they cultivate between our minds, bodies, and the planet. Everything about this experience has been thought about and considered. My week there, I was paired with 2 other unique individuals who, in the outside world, I would never have crossed paths with. Not only did I leave with an incredible experience, a new Costa Rican family, but also two new friends. So much gratitude towards Surf Synergy. If I was ever to book a surf trip again, this would be first on my list.

This was one of the best vacations of my life. Everything about it was awesome. The food was amazing and greatly varied. Yoga sessions were a nice way to wake up in the morning or cool down in the afternoon. The ice baths and breath work were very helpful, too. And of course, the surfing was amazing. You get a 1 on 1 coach for the whole week who teaches you all of the skills. You can go at your own pace and are not pressured to do anything. Surf analysis was fun too, as it provided helpful tips on how to get better as well as cool videos to send to friends and family.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, everything was exceptional. Every staff member is kind, warm, and welcoming. The way this place facilitates a genuine feeling of community & togetherness with the staff & other guests is unlike any other place I’ve ever experienced. The grounds and rooms are stunning, the food is incredible, all the house staff and surf coaches are amazing. I was very nervous to come and surf for the first time, but all the coaches, staff, and guests were so humble, kind, and encouraging, which made the biggest difference in improving my skills. It was an unforgettable week that I will cherish forever! Thank you guys so much!

I just spent an incredible week at Surf Synergy in Costa Rica, and I can’t say enough great things about this experience! From the moment I arrived, everything was top-notch—the accommodations in the bungalows were stunning, the food was both delicious and healthy, and the staff was beyond welcoming. The surf coaching was next level. Each lesson was well-structured, and the daily video analysis helped me fine-tune my technique and progress faster than I ever imagined. I came in as a complete beginner and left with a deep love for surfing—it’s truly a life-changing experience! Beyond the surfing, the entire experience was curated to perfection. From mindfulness and fitness sessions to the friendly and encouraging atmosphere, I felt fully supported every step of the way. I’m beyond grateful for this trip and already dreaming of coming back.
