I think Surf Synergy is a 10 star place living in a 5 star world! It is the most unique experience I’ve ever had and hope to get back there soon. The customer service is second to none! The food is simply luxurious, delicious and healthy all at the same time. It’s a retreat, spa, surf camp all in one amazing place with breathtaking views! The staff caters to your every need. The yoga, massage and water training are exemplary! It's truly a gem of a place! Get there if you can!

My friend and I had an unforgettable experience at Surf Synergy last December, but I’m only getting the chance to leave this review now. The villas were beautiful, the food was exceptional, and everyone at the surf camp was incredibly friendly. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner’s family, who were wonderful. Each participant is paired with their own instructor, which was fantastic, and the video analysis sessions every evening were both fun and very helpful. We're looking forward to attending another surf camp at Surf Synergy!

I had the most amazing week with Surf Synergy!! The staff were all so welcoming and felt more like friends. I’ve never surfed before but I got up on my first try! My instructor was amazing and so were all of the other instructors! It was challenging but rewarding! There was always something to be doing whether it was yoga or an ice bath plunge/sauna. My body never felt in pain because I was truly taking care of it with everything that they offered. The food was truly some of the best food I’ve had in my life. I felt so good about what I was eating and felt so healthy. I’m already planning my trip back because 1 week was not enough!!

I just finished a week at Surf Synergy and had an absolutely wonderful time. It's hard to pick my favorite part... the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, the meals were delicious and plentiful, the surf coaching / video analysis was a game changer, the hotel / amenities / grounds were beautiful and oh-so-comfortable. It is a premier wellness destination for anyone looking for a week to ground, reconnect, learn new skills, and be a part of a really cool and vibrant community. I will definitely go back!

Surf Synergy is a slice of Costa Rican heaven! The hotel, rooms and space are amazing, comfortable and welcoming as well as very nice and satisfying your every need. The food is completely out of this world, every meal is the most delicious meal you have ever had. Hearty and satisfying while also being healthy and locally inspired! The surf team is amazing and this is a great place to go if you are a new surfer or want to really dial in your skills. The one-on-one coaching and video analysis provide so much dedicated attention that your surfing will 100% improve! Love Surf Synergy!

Surf Synergy was incredible! Highly recommended if you love being outdoors to surf and also partaking in the wellness benefits. Best decision I’ve made on an impromptu trip. I met life long friends and learned how to better be with myself and more present. Great staff, they are absolutely world class! The food was incredible, it is vegan paradise as the chef is so talented in cooking for various meal preferences and cuisines.

The experience I had with Surf Synergy was incredible! Everyone was so kind and thoughtful. The surf instructors are all very knowledgeable and experienced. I learned so much and watched my friends improve an insane amount over just 5 days. Also the FOOD! So fresh and delicious. I have a ridiculous amount of food sensitivities and the chefs were so creative with my meals. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. 1000/5 stars 🤩

I stayed here from July 12 to 19 to join the surf retreat for beginners. There were probably 10 other people in the week group, most of them are intermediate. I was paired with just one other beginner, and we had the best time learning surfing with the coaches. They were very kind, attentive, helpful, supportive, protective, AND fun! We would still have hang out time with the other folks from the intermediate group during breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Everyone, especially the staff, truly MADE the 5-star experience. Of course, the luxurious accommodations and the amazing view are huge contributors, but the people are the core part of this experience. It felt like a super fun adult summer camp. We bonded, even with the staff, and it felt bitter sweet to have to leave the place. Thank you Surf Synergy for the wonderful experience that I will remember and cherish forever!
