We ran into Roger when surfing alone at Surfer’s beach. He saw me and my friends being pulled by drift current. Even though we were strangers at the time, he was watching out for us and guided us to get into the safe position. He was kind, super knowledgeable, and eager to help us improve our surfing skills and play safe. We then took a couple surf lessons from his instructors, Danny and Marco. They are all such great instructors and kept us safe and happy with the waves. Roger also observed our surfing and provided a lot of great advice. I wish we contacted Roger earlier and booked our trip directly with him. Will definitely surf with Roger and his team next time in Rincon 🤙🏼

I took surf lessons with Roger and went from barely knowing how to paddle to catching my own waves by the end of the trip. His teaching style is calm, clear, and patient—he breaks everything down in a way that actually builds confidence instead of overwhelming you. What stood out the most was how dedicated he is. Roger is quick to respond, always on time, and genuinely invested in helping you improve. The vibes were great every single session, and honestly, he made the whole trip that much better. If you’re even thinking about taking a lesson, do it. It’s easily worth it, especially with someone as experienced and encouraging as Roger. Couldn’t recommend him more. 🌊🏄‍♂️

We visited the Villa at Surf 787 this past December as part of a family vacation. I can't say enough about Roger, his surf school and, most importantly, the villa. The Villa sits on a hill overlooking a valley and the ocean. From early morning coffee on the deck, watching 3 family members master the basics of surfing in the exercise area and family meals poolside, every day was a delight. Roger and his dogs Taino and Freya were available for advice on all Rincon had to offer. Added benefit was doggy scratches for those of us missing our pets at home. There were 9 family members on this vacation ranging in age from 20 to 70 and we all agreed that our stay at the 787Surf Villa in Rincon was one of the best vacations ever. Thanks, Roger.

Roger and his instructors are amazing. This is the first time I try to surf in Rincon with reef break. I was too nervous to paddle into the ocean. Roger saw me and talked with me. I took two days class with Marco( one of instructor). I made Hugh improvement. The first time I felt myself dropping down the wave face as soon as I popped up. I can even caught some good waves myself. New feeling. I definitely want to come back and surf again.

Roger and his crew are awesome! I booked surf lessons for 7 family members with no experience and Roger, Zach and David were super patient and my family had a blast. I highly recommend Surf787.

We contacted Roger last minute and he agreed to take us surfing next morning in Aguadilla. We had an area to ourselves, so no worries about crashing into other surfers. He taught us well, great tips and tricks and some life lessons too 😊 He was the best priced and 2 hours was just enough to tire us out completely. We had a great time and rode some waves too. His two lovely dogs Freya and Tahina were amazing companions too. All in all, highly recommend this school for surfing lessons.

If you're looking for a guided surf tour, you must book with Roger! He is a seasoned surfer with in-depth knowledge of the local beaches. He took us to a secluded spot and shared real-life lessons with my son that he'll carry with him into his future surfing adventures.

Roger is THE guy to take you surfing. We were on vacation, when there is no real surf aorund the main spots in Puerto Rico and he still took us to the most beautiful spot to surf proper waves. I and my dauther had a blast, Roger was super kind and professional, sharing his surf and life lessons. Will always be grateful for this experience 🙏🏼
