If your are looking for a place near the surf beach where you can just walk along and enjoy this tropical paradise, then Surfbreak is the place to stay at. Amazing rooms with varied options, super clean and organized kitchen to cook your favorite meals and most importantly human quality that you cannot find in many other places. 100% recommended, would come back every time I go to Cabarete.

I went there with my ex, and the place was so amazing that I almost forgot what a red flag he is! The volunteers were beyond nice: always ready to help, chat, or recommend things. The owners are extraordinary; they even give you the contact of a taxi driver who won’t try to rip you off. I met a bunch of nice people there that I keep contact with. The place itself is wonderful: two pools and a facility that’s cleaned daily. The garden, full of plants, was such a pleasant surprise. Hot water with good pressure, breakfast every day with local food, coffee available all day, and drinkable water which I think is essential in such high temperatures. The beach is less than a 10-minute walk away. It’s rocky, but perfect for surfing. They provide towels for both your bedroom and the swimming pool. Honestly, I could not find anything to complain about. And regarding the only bad review below from Antonio, trust me, I was there, and all the women were avoiding him on purpose. I can’t believe he complained about mosquitoes… I mean, it is the Dominican Republic! All my love to the staff, they made me feel so welcome. Truly an unforgettable stay. 100% recommended.

We were six friends staying at Surfbreak. The place is incredible—a true paradise. The gardens are full of lush plants, and the rooms are super comfortable. Cleanliness was a 10 out of 10. The staff had great vibes and were always ready to help us with anything. They recommended excursions, things to do, and places to eat. The place felt very safe and is less than a 10-minute walk from the waves. We surfed every morning. In the afternoons, we relaxed and hung out at the beach.||The vacation had it all: sports, great food, plenty of rest and relaxation. I came back feeling refreshed and recharged.|As soon as I can, I’ll be back to enjoy more waves and beach time. It’s definitely my go-to spot for future vacations.

Our Favorite Spot in Cabarete – 100% Recommended! We've stayed here three times already, and it keeps getting better! The place is absolutely beautiful — super clean, full of tropical greenery, and with such a peaceful and positive vibe. The accommodation is run with so much care and attention to detail — everything is spotlessly clean, thoughtfully arranged, and simply beautiful in a natural, authentic way. But what makes this place truly special are the hosts. Their kindness, openness, and genuine hospitality are beyond words. They don’t just welcome you — they embrace you. Their warmth is something you carry with you long after you leave. I’ve stayed here twice in a short period of time, and I already know I’ll be coming back again and again. Most relaxing beautiful place. The rooms are super nice and clean with attention to details. Amazing position just a few minutes walking to the beach. Staff is super friendly and available. Breakfast served every morning, yoga loft and two amazing pools to relax.

The location is beautiful, calm, and feels very safe – I felt completely comfortable walking around alone. It's absolutely ideal for surfers, being just a 4-minute walk to the best spot, which is the perfect distance to warm up before hitting the waves. What makes this spot great is that the surfing is excellent, and it's a wonderful place to enjoy and share the ocean experience with surfers of all levels, from beginners to pros. My 8-day stay at Surfbreak Cabarete was a truly awesome experience and offered the perfect balance for a relaxing and surfing week. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming; they genuinely make you feel like a close friend rather than just a guest. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The swimming pools were fantastic for relaxing after spending time in the ocean. The spa was a highlight too! It was my first time getting massages, and I really recommend them. Breakfast was simple but provided the perfect combination for good recovery after surfing. Only missing the surfer´s favorite food: “La GranOla” (LOL)... just joking. Overall, I highly recommend Surfbreak Cabarete if you're looking for a place to surf, relax, make new friends, and enjoy excellent value for money!

I had a fantastic stay at Surfbreak! The hotel is absolutely beautiful - clean rooms, amazing garden, and great swimming pools. The staff was super friendly, and the location is excellent - just a short walk to the beach and really close to a great surf spot. Would definitely stay here again.
