Surfers Bay Resort

Surfers Bay was the best casual laid back place to stay. Great ocean front facility on the south end of the island where things are not touristy at all. Matt and his son will were amazing hosts and the amenities of the property were great. The cab driver, Micheal, who was recommended by the owners of the resort, could not have been any better. Promt friendly and very knowledgeable. He took very good care of us the whole trip

Lovely experience! Super pretty apartments, beautiful sea view, the perfect mix of quiet evenings and nice live music every now and then. And most importantly, very friendly hosts. Thanks so much for making our stay as comfortable as can be, Will! We’ll definitely be back.

Had a fantastic 4 night stay in this lovely property hosted by Matt and Will. It has a fantastic secluded private beach, nice rooms, a beautiful pool, ocean facing gazebo for that romantic dinner and a lovely host. The on-site restaurant served really great food and had live band playing on Friday and Saturday night- which was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this beautiful property on the south of the island.

What a fabulous place, amazing location, great setting, awesome band (Mootown). Matt is a great host. One of the bar staff could have smiled and engaged a little, and the rum sours he made were lacking rum, however, Naomi behind the bar was brilliant! She made great drinks. We'll definitely be back. I have left Surfers Bay Resort just two days ago and since the very first day I was feeling like at home, Matt and Will are amazing people and the staff is so friendly, I was very lucky to find them in this peaceful and wonderful place! Anything you need just ask them! To let you understand: I was invited by Will for a private Surf session as well as a dinner in the North West Coast of Barbados! Matt gave me a ride to the supermarket since I did not have a car! I was pleased to enjoy also live music and a drink with Matt 30 minutes driving from the resort! I never met any manager like them in all my travelling experience! The Surfers Bay resort is getting also active on the weekends with live music right in front of a bonfire and the stunning South Coast of Barbados! Lovely accomodation just renovated with a private patio and hammocks. The swimming pool is very well mantained.. Really I don't have anything to say more, only that I will miss a lot my new friends and this stunning place!!!

Beautiful spot on the south coast of barbados that my girlfriend and I stayed in. Modern and spacious rooms in a luxurious setting just a stone's throw from the beach.||The pool area is always clean and well maintaine. The style is very fresh and relaxing, with the whole facitliy being recently renovated. ||Will and Matt were exceptional hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. Providing extra help like information on things to do and where to eat. They make time to speak with guests and their hospitality supassed our expectations. If it's your first time to the island and you want some local advice on what to do/places to go, this added extra of having tenatative and informative hosts is perfect.||Perfect location as its 10 minutes drive to oistins and 15 minutes drive to st Lawrence gap. If your into surfing then one of the best spots on the island is only 10 minutes walk along the coast. ||If we every make a return visit to barados we will most definatly be staying here again.||Thank you Will for your hospitality!

Me and my partner were here for our 4th wedding anniversary. It is a beautiful resort with private beach and bar, the staffs are lovely and friendly. Matt the resort owner is such a down to earth human he is always there to help you and makes sure you are comfortable. I would recommend this resort for a peaceful vacation and time.

Great setting, a good bar at reasonable prices. The owner Matt has done a great job so far and is renovating the rooms. We went for a birthday party and it was a great experience. Live music on Sundays and on other evenings but would advise checking their website.
