A really cute and chill coffee place in Wahiawa! Lots of seating, outlets for laptops, a good variety of coffees and teas, there's a bathroom and they even sell merchandise! I heard they do reading events for kids on certain days too. If you like coffee that's not super sweet (like me) then this is a perfect stop!

Love this place. Carmel Mucciato is amazing … even better with blended ice. Check out their FREE events. Today they have face painting and a mini concert. Great place to visit!

First of all, being a surfer is not required, however a very “surfery” atmosphere with a bunch of surfboards and surfing pics. The chairs are very comfortable. Overall a very comfortable coffee shop like atmosphere. You could almost take a nap if you weren’t drinking coffee. There are gluten free and vegan bakery options Excellent coffee! 💯 Kona coffee. Smoothie was amazing. 10/10 would recommend it Service was prompt and pleasant. She overfilled my coffee but it’s better than under filling it. Very few parking spots. But if you are in the area you should definitely check it out.

After purchasing drinks I decided to purchase some shop merch. I proceeded to take my items to the register to check out and this lady made eye contact with me and rolled her eyes the stepped away from the register and proceeded to change the music. I was standing at the register for five minutes while she was doing so and just when I thought she was going to help me she goes and messes around with things on the counter on the opposite side. I was the only one in line and there were no coffee orders either .Great atmosphere and coffee but horrible customer service. It baffles me people like that get hired here.

Amazing coffee! Crew had a printer issue and was quick to fix their mistake and very apologetic. Clean, chill and bright atmosphere. Coffee was 10/10. White wash & iced honey latte! Def a must if you are headed to north shore!

My first time here… it was a nice little coffee spot, lots of room inside and out. Nice that they have free WiFi. Just the vibe in here is really chill, I got a wahiawa iced coffee which was amazing! My son got the açaí smoothie also vey 👍. Would definitely like to come here and just relax.

Google
I'm sorry to leave a poor review, but I'm very frustrated after searching for a place to park. The staff at the coffee shop instructed me to re-park twice because apparently, I left my car in the wrong business parking lot. This ordeal took me about 20 minutes, which was my allotted time for a coffee break. Unfortunately, I ended up with no coffee, no parking, but fortunately, no tow either. I genuinely regret having to leave a negative review for this cute and high-quality business. The staff are amazing, and the coffee is good too. However, my lunch break was ruined today, and I've decided not to return to this place Ever again. Additionally, their official parking spot is way behind the building, and it’s quite a walk in a sketchy neighborhood. I don’t feel comfortable leaving my car there, nor do I want to walk myself among the homeless people. Nope, nope.”

Google
Definitely not a place for coffee on the go. More importantly NOT a place for LOCALS or anyone who looks like an ISLANDER I waited 25mins for 2 hot coffees. Two people after me received their full orders for dine in and take out. I even tipped them when I made payment, but had I known this is what the service would have been like, I would have never tipped. POOR customer service. 4 people working on shift by the way, all females.

Yelp
"Chill Morning Vibes at Surfers Coffee" I dropped by Surfers Coffee and totally dug the vibe of their place, especially the cool interior. Tried their mochi waffle - pretty good, but gotta say, the outside was a bit too crunchy for me, I was expecting it to be softer. Not sure if that was cream cheese in the sauce? Unexpectedly tasty! Also got my hands on their burrito, and let me tell you, it was next level, especially with that bomb Green salsa sauce. Just a heads up though, this spot can fill up quick; popped in on a Monday at 10 am and had a tough time finding a seat 'cause it was packed. To sum it up, Surfers Coffee serves up those chill morning feels and some yummy eats. Despite the waffle hiccup, the killer burrito and flavorful salsa totally won me over. If you can deal with a bit of a crowd, swing by for a tasty breakfast or brunch - you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
About six parking spots in the front of the store, afterwards I recommend to find parking on a residential area as parking in other stores like jack in the box will have your car towed I got the macadamia nut ice latte and my friend ordered the americano. We both were very happy with our drink as it tasted rich and flavorful. Nothing I'd go back for to be quite honest. But was great it what we were looking for in the moment.

Yelp
They rectified it, everything is all good Enjoyed some lattes and little treats, excited to try more.

Yelp
Had another visit to Surfers Coffee in Wahiawa. This time for a mix of catching up and networking with a friend. The place was buzzing, but getting a table was a breeze. It's always cool to find a spot where you can actually hear each other talk, you know? It's always a plus when you can blend a bit of work and leisure without hassle. Gave their vegan chocolate donut a whirl this time. Gotta say, not my jam. Ended up ditching the icing and, well, after one bite, the rest of the donut too. Just wasn't working, but hey, you win some, you lose some. I'm not a coffee drinker so the iced green tea hit the spot for me--love it when drinks come out just as they are--no sweeteners messing with the taste. Overall, the vibes were good, the chat was even better, and supporting local is something I'm all about. Surfer's definitely has the chill factor down, perfect for anyone in Wahiawa looking to catch up with some good convo and a hot or cold drink.

Yelp
My friends would post this place frequently, and I finally got the chance to stop by. I ordered an avocado toast & a Nutella mocha (from their underground drink menu), which totaled to a little under $20. The workers were friendly, and I did not have to wait long for my order. It is a cozy place to get some work done or study or just to stop by and relax on your own or with company.

Yelp
This place is really neat! I love the decor on the inside and the coffee was really good. The merch that they have is also really stylish and i was thinking about getting a glass mug but they had none left :(. I think that they forgot about my coffee because i had to ask about it before they made it but they were really nice about it and made it in a timely order.
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite coffee shop - always filled with lots of aloha and amazing drinks. We love their Dawn Patrol and Nutella Mocha. Ask for hot if you want to see the talented baristas at work! Beautiful every time. Comfy couches and plenty of tables inside and outside to work on your laptop. People are always respectful and kind here. Out of the way for a townie - but worth the drive to get out of the city sometimes! Perfect relaxing day to enjoy coffee in a great ambiance.

Yelp
Ordered wahiawa ice coffee (it had a hint of pineapple taste), lots of seating with different vibes, great place for a first date *actually saw a first date IRL there* if you plan study or do work, bring headphones-they do play background music

Yelp
So I came in today at 1320 and waited 15 minutes for someone to take my order I know it's okay to socialize during work hours, but catching up for 10 minutes for a friend while you're on the clock while you have 2 people waiting in line and one girl making all of the drinks. Then I was told that there was no available after waiting maybe I'll try again another time . Customer service was just not here today. On another note the past times that I have come in to get açaí were good and that's why I came back . Also the cinnamon rolls are very good warmed !

Yelp
The best coffee ive ever had, period. I got the Strawberry Shaka hot, and i swear when i took my first sip angels started singing and i ascended spiritually. Life changing coffee. i dont think ive ever had better coffee, and i am an avid coffee drinker. Also the decor is super cute and the vibes are good!
google avatar

Tiara A.

Yelp
First off this cafe has good vibes, comfortable and homey. I always order the same drink the Cocomora, so yummy. The waffle and burrito were good. The pineapple upside down cake was tasty too. Best coffee shop in Wahiawa I'd say.

Yelp
Great spot to get some work done or meet up with friends. Free WiFi and plenty of space inside. Depending on the day there could be live music or line dancing. Follow them on IG to stay updated. Service was great! Everyone was so nice and treated me like a friend. Their coffee is good. I kept it simple and had a latte. It totally hit the spot. Parking is a little tricky, either on the street or in the back, but pay attention to the signs. Make sure where you park is a spot you can actually park in.

Yelp
Such a cute place! Came here on a Sunday morning to get some breakfast and coffee. Never explored the shops in wahiawa but always drove past. This coffee shop is decorated so cute and has a good amount of seating. There's also an outside area near with tons of tables. We got the iced mocha, lavender layback, and bacon and spinach burritos with red salsa. Total was about $32. Little pricey especially for the burritos considering they weren't that big. They were definitely tasty though, had eggs and potato's in them too. Coffees were also good! There was a bit of a wait. Also, parking is a bit hard to find. You have to park on Ohai st or in the dirt lot behind the buildings. Anywhere else, you might get towed. And the tow truck literally are waiting to tow cars there.
google avatar

Steve S.

Yelp
Good ambiance for drinking coffee and conversing with friends, reading or just getting some work done on your laptop. Plenty of space, but can fill up as it is a popular spot. Quality coffee that is brewed and served at the optimum temperature. Hot, but not burning. A good spot to stop either driving to North Shore from town or vice versa to stretch your legs and refuel on caffeine. Workers have always been friendly. Some tips: Only 1 small bathroom, so be prepared that there may be a short wait. Make sure you park in the back of the shop, with the dedicated parking lots as other business parking lots, will result in a tow!
google avatar

Yelp
tldr; - No street parking, no problem. Park in the back (left on California Ave & another left on Ohai St) - Use the Joe App to order ahead & walk up to the counter to skip the line I've been to Surfer's Coffee a couple times and have only tried the mochi waffle & lavender layback (hot & iced). I would get both again! Mochi Waffle - Chewy, nice honey flavor and actual mochi consistency. Lavender Layback - Pleasant balance between coffee and lavender. It didn't feel like I was drinking a floral lavender soap, but it was a smidge watery and not as full of a pull of espresso that I would have liked - but I'm just *extra* picky with coffee. I would still order it again :) I love the amount of inside seating and the cozy ambiance. I've come here to finish some work and I'm always able to concentrate despite the amount of people that come in and out. ~ Side Note ~ I would definitely use the Joe App to order ahead. I went in on a Sunday at 10:30am, walked into a long line and promptly walked out. Went back to my car, ordered on the app & it was ready in 8min. When I went to pick up my drink from the counter, the people who were initially ahead of me in line were still waiting to order! :o (I am not sponsored by the Joe's app, I just appreciate efficiency lol)

Yelp
Surfers Coffee: Catchin' waves of flavor + chill ‍ Tiger Spice Chai on ice with Oat milk is the best!. Very friendly and helpful service. Comfy couches, sunny patio, and tunes that make you wanna shred. Smooth brews, perfect for pre- or post-shred sesh. Tip: Grab a pastry and soak up the sun on their patio. Sunshine + chai = pure bliss!

Yelp
Visiting from Seattle, my husband and I were on the hunt for some good coffee on our visit to Oahu. If you are in the same hunt, look no further than Surfers Coffee. He and I said to each other many times over our trip that this may be the best coffee we have *ever* had. We had the pleasure of having soy iced lattes here several times over our trip. We also had their açai bowls for breakfast (good) and their pineapple upside down muffins (excellent). TONS of indoor and outdoor seating (in the alleyway) and service was super friendly. Açai bowls take a minute so know it won't be super fast but we had a good time sitting and sipping on our coffee while we shared a muffin and waited. There is street parking of course but there is also a parking lot on the street behind. You can walk around the front through the alleyway.

Yelp
Must try the underground menu. We tried the cocomora and lavender layback. Parking was limited

Yelp
I like this spot, very spacious and welcoming :0) kinda pricey for food etc tho keep that in mind and parking can be tough.

Yelp
Stopped at Surfers Coffee for a quick espresso and nosh on our way back fro the North Shore. I love a good local coffee shop and Surfers hits all the marks. Cool vibe that clearly invites locals to hang out and enjoy themselves. Great noshes...we split one of the Chocolate Chip cookies which was HUGE. Excellent cookie. They use Stumptown coffee...of which I approve! The true hallmark of a great coffee shop is being offered a REAL cup for your espresso. Surfers gets that right too! I will always stop here from now on anytime I'm traveling to the North Shore...or back.

Yelp
Help workers make better choices. A lady ate her whole Bagel and still didn't get her coffee. I was told like 6 min for dip and waited 15 when Bagel lady said you might want to check. I was forgotten. There were gaps between 2 to 3 customers in line. My cups were on the counter waiting... kinda wish I didn't tip on my card. The vibe seems very chill in the cafe. I had ppl waiting on me at dole plantation. I guess I should have just got my coffee there. I'm too city for this level of service.

Yelp
A cozy coffee shop you must stop at if you're in the area. Street parking is available on Kam hwy or behind the plaza in an open lot only. They have a variety of drinks, pastries and food (there's veggie and gluten free options available). They even have breakfast burritos from local Mexican restaurant nearby. Great place and service to get a cup of coffee and catch up on a good book or to study.
google avatar

Brittney O.

Yelp
Surfers Coffee is a great place to go if you want to catch up with friends or cowork with others! The inside has lots of seating and interesting decor! They're pretty well-known for their chai lattes and I recommend the Tiger Spice! I also really like their burritos and vegan matcha donuts if you're in the mood for food! Service is usually fast too!
google avatar

Yelp
I have heard great things about this place and have to agree that the atmosphere was great but coffee was sub-par. The baristas were very nice and drinks came out quickly. The iced macadamia nut latte tasted like milk and syrup, not much coffee flavor, sadly like I was drinking straight syrup. too heavy on the flavoring. The Vietnamese iced coffee had good flavor but wasn't as sweet/enough condensed milk as we have had other places& prefer. Nice people, great merchandise, cool decor, but mediocre and overpriced coffee. They had a lot of gluten free bakery options, though, which I didn't try today but will be back for.
google avatar

Haku'i C.

Yelp
Menu: 5 Quality: 2 Wait time: 0 Aesthetic: 5 A very niche coffee shop, great vibes, and aesthetic! It's also great to see a variety of options on the menu. The downfall of this coffee shop is the quality of the coffee and service. I ordered a Cortado, the milk was burnt, and the espresso was over extracted. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they were slammed but still for the amount of time I was waiting you'd think they'd take their time making the drinks. If you're looking for a place to lounge this is a great spot because you'd be waiting for your coffee for 15-20 mins

Yelp
I've heard about Surfers Coffee from folks but it wasn't until the other week that I paid my initial visit. Located in Wahiawa, Surfers Coffee is a little out of the way for me. But I like to drive and Wahiawa has some excellent eateries. Initial visit...I had the Strawberry Shaka from their Underground Drink Menu. Not too sweet, it consists of strawberry syrup, white chocolate syrup, milk, and an espresso shot. Iced and refreshing. Not something that I may necessarily order again but it was different and pretty good. This afternoon, requested the White Wash. This drink has macadamia nut syrup, white chocolate syrup, and cold brew. Okay as a Summer drink but I don't think I will order it again...novelty coffee drink. Surfers is in an older building; it is quite spacious and spread out. Not sure what business used to be here but it has that older building charm. Free parking stalls are available in front of the few establishments that share the same main building - won't find that very often in Honolulu proper. I just park at a nearby Walgreens. Merch is cool. Baristas are friendly. Lots of tables and seats. Prices are average for a cafe.
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
The only con about this place WAS the parking, but they opened up a second lot in the back! I love coming here. They have ample parking and seating. The service is excellent, the coffee is great, and they also have a lot of variety on their menu. I love that this coffee spot also has delicious food. My favorite is their Mochi waffle. You can add toppings, but I am satisfied with honey and powdered sugar. They have savory burritos and acai bowls as well. The ambiance is perfect for studying or chatting. They have lovely open windows, wall art, and ambient music. Usually, the people that frequent this area are friendly as well. People always smile and wave and are happy to share a table with you.
google avatar

Yelp
Spacious and comfortable place, affordable price I recommend the drip coffee, The aroma and taste are both excellent
google avatar

Rosalynn E.

Yelp
I enjoy going to little cafe's and love a good cup of coffee. Stumptown coffee served here. My daughter orders the Lavender layback that has an excellent blend of lavender to honey ratio with 2 shots of espresso for the small and large. They have teas and seasonal flavors as well as a pastry selection. You can also order a breakfast burrito or their açaí bowl and mochi pancakes. It's large and clean with brown cement floors and white and wood walls. I like to sit on one of the comfy sofa chairs or there are around 12 tables you select from 2-4 seats desks or lounge chairs and 3 bar counter. There is additional seating outside on the side in walkway. There is usually some music playing in the background loud enough to hear it but not too loud that you can't hear each other. The employees are all so nice. If you're in Wahiawa or on your way to the N. Shore this is a stop worth making.

Yelp
I'll be honest I found this place on Instagram with their St. Patrick's Day "Luck of the Irish Latte" special and was lucky enough to be off to get to escape the city and chill in Wahiawa as I'm discovering so many amazing biz like this. First thing you walk in you're taken back with how massive it is with incredible amount of various seating it's just overflowing with coziness and sense of escape into your own pod. This Irish cream latte was just the perfectness of everything not sweet and topped with Lucky Charms it's already a winner. Yes my first visit I did enjoy the most creative and delightful latte showered with lucky charms I just didn't know where to begin...sip or crunch. Burritos yup this also is a must must have filled with bacon & spinach or veggie either is just done right. The bacon & spinach is just the perfect breakfast bite and did you know they also have wifi and the password is "welcome" already says what a delightful place it is. I later found out that Surfers Coffee is a non-profit coffee shop owned and operated by Surfing The Nations with the love of "giving back" is quite exceptional and touching to see such kindhearted souls that not only makes great coffee but making Wahiawa and our local communities better just being in it. Thank you!!

Yelp
The Best Coffee Shop in Oahu! For a coffee shop to be the best, all the most important aspects need to be above and beyond. Their location, free parking in the back and spacious seating is great, which sets the perfect ambiance! The service is always full of love, patience and true care. Everyone is genuine. The coffee is great! The food is delicious. Can't ask for anything else!

Yelp
The best, high quality coffee in the north shore area. The coffee is amazing, and the coffee shop environment is definitely trendy, with a hint of the north shore surfing legacy. The parking is either in the back or on the busy street, in front of the coffee shop. Just park in the back. The front parking can be dangerous to get in and out of your car. My only complaint is the cost of the coffee. But, to get the best coffee around and to have a great ambiance, sometimes you just have to accept the high cost of entry. But, this is our place to go to every once in a while, and enjoy the best coffee around. Also, their staff is amazing and always greets customers with kindness. A little known fact about the business as a whole, but they have a program where anyone can come in and get a free coffee or water that's in need, and they as a business absorb the cost. All in all, this is a goldmine of a coffee shop. #supportlocalbusinesses

Carol M.

Yelp
If I could leave 0 stars I would! This coffee was the most sour, burnt tasting, bitter coffee i've ever tasted. The inside of the building was so cute and it was so busy, we thought the coffee must be great but we were wrong. The inviting atmosphere was a trick! I spent $9 on a terrible tasting coffee. I would not go ever again.

Yelp
My go to coffee spot. Not so much for the coffee itself, but the vibe in there is immaculate. The people and workers are kick back and friendly. I come here to do work at least twice a week. 10/10

Yelp
My favorite coffee spot. Comfy chairs, plenty of tables, great choices for snacks or more. Always friendly service.

Yelp
Hands down one of my favorite coffee shops! Every visit here has been a great time. The vibe is chill, the staff is energetic and friendly, and the food and drinks are consistently awesome! Nothing but good things to say about Surfers Coffee. My go to drink is the iced Wahiawa mocha. Awesome flavors that are refreshing, and it's really a drink that you can't get tired of having. Go to food has to be the mochi waffle. Great texture that's both light and slightly chewy, and it's not too sweet. I definitely recommend trying both! I really can't say enough about how great this shop is. Everyone is really down to earth here, both the staff and the crowd that it attracts. I can't wait to keep coming back for more of my favorites, and to try other items on the menu!

Yelp
This was my first time visiting since before the shutdown of 2020, and the place looks great! Ordered a dirty chai to go with my breakfast and it was delicious. The barista even made me latte art even though my drink was "to-go"! It was busy when I arrived so the wait was a few minutes, but totally worth it. I heard yesterday (Saturday) was even busier. Next time, we may order ahead on their website to avoid the wait.
google avatar

Yelp
Really good service! The mochi waffle + iced latte hit the spot! Very chill vibes in the coffee shop and the interior is super nice!

Claudia D.

Yelp
Love the vibe and the coffee. They do excellent avocado toast with competitive prices for the area.
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite coffee place, parking is available most of the time! Super good lattes and breakfast burritos!
google avatar

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop located in Wahiawa. Refreshing to see something else other than a SB & also an opportunity to support local. Lots of options here, teas, coffees, blended drinks, acai bowls, pastries and burritos! Order your items ahead using the Joe Coffee app. Fair warning, the Vietnamese iced coffee has a bite! Dark & strong. Highly recommend if you need that extra punch to start the day.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place so much. I really did. But from the moment I walked in I felt like I was either in the past or in the future because I was the ONLY customer sitting down who was wearing a mask. In the middle of a pandemic. What the what. I understand people may not be mask wearing when they are eating or drinking. But almost everyone I saw was working on laptops, without food or drink even on their table. Social distancing was not enforced-there were communal tables (seat 6-8) that were in use by three people who obviously did not know each other. Even how they have set up the food & drink distribution ensures no social distancing. I had the strawberry and banana shake-so nice they don't add in dairy! with an oat hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was creamy and delicious. And just a small suggestion ... deliver food & drink to people with kids present. I would have loved this instead of dragging my kid out of the high chair and way over to the coffee bar to wait 10+ minute for our food and drink to show up (separately). Though the cashier very generously offered to set up the high chair for me. I'll definitely come back ... after I have my COVID vaccine!

Yelp
I've driven past this place 1 million times and never went in until recently. I love the atmosphere, the staff is great, and the mochi waffle is delicious. My favorite drink is the iced Wahiawa mocha. It's an iced mocha latte with a hint of pineapple. It's my go to every time! They also have Wi-Fi, when it isn't too crowded I like to sit in there to get some work done.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
Love it! Best coffee around! We traveled from Ko Olina twice to go here. Excellent lattes. Owner came up and chatted us up. Great great place.

Adam C.

Yelp
The drip coffee was good. The pineapple upside down cake/ muffin was also delicious. My group order various coffee drinks and were not disappointed.
google avatar

Jasmine P.

Yelp
This place reminds me of hip coffee shops in the movies! It's definitely not your grandfathers coffee shop lol The menu has a lot of different options. They have free WiFi and plenty of places to sit and chill or work. It doesn't get super loud either but it isn't like a library. I got a iced Nutella latte recommended by the girl at the register. I stayed there and worked on my laptop for a few hours so I also had the veggie burrito and a pineapple upside down muffin and a strawberry banana smoothie everything was really good. The service was not super long and everybody there was really nice. I'm definitely going to come back a lot more and tell people about this place.

Yelp
Great little coffee shop hiding in the middle of Wahiawa town! Super friendly staff and a good assortment of pastries and caffeinated drinks! My go to lately has been the cold brew and something from the baked goods case. But this visit I opted for an açaí bowl. In my hierarchy of açaí bowls, it ranks below Jamba imho. Will not be getting it again, but will definitely be back for some coffee and pastries! Great place to study or conduct small meetings! A great find! Must try if you're in the area!

Yelp
I love the coffee (hot latte), and my husband loves their white shark chia. It's a great place to hang out, the staff are really helpful and friends. Their merchandise makes really good gifts too.

Yelp
Love love their coffee . Been looking for a decent coffee shop on west size but there's none and this place is pretty good since we were driving to the east side. Had their lavender latte so good. They need more coffee places like these in west side. Service was good as well. Great chill atmosphere. Will definitely visit again if in that area.

Yelp
Loved this place. There were a lot of people there at work on their laptops and some surf videos playing. I got some sort of lavender and honey latte with a mochi waffle. The waffle was meh, but I should have ordered toppings! The latte was super good.
