The chicken shrimp balls were 4.5/5! But since it was fried, mayonnaise or other thicker sauce will suit it better than a sweet soy-based sauce. The Spicy Dandan Noodle 4/5! It was good, a little too salty but still delicious. The price is relatively cheap!

The food here was very enjoyable, they had a variety of dishes which were to be shared. I must say they were all really good, they also had a nice selection of interesting cocktails that complimented the food. They were also spot on with the children’s meals, with quick and attentive service. Definitely a place anyone should eat at while you are in Visby.

Most importantly the food was fantastic. We ordered the aubergines, chicken in red oil, shrimp balls, ribs, dandan noodles. Even the rice was cooked well and appreciated the rice coming in separate bowls. Cocktails were good, really liked the Chongqing heat. However the alcohol free alternatives were quite boring, like apple juice with a peppery edge. The service was very professional personally, quick and simple, which was refreshing given how bad service has become standard nowadays. A big disappointment as well as being unappetising was with the servers scraping leftovers onto a tray behind me, clearly visible to the others in my group. Atmosphere was cosy and inviting. Even with a full house it was still possible to have intimate conversations at the table.

Been to their restaurant in Stockholm and this one in Visby. Both are great restaurants but I think some of the courses were better in Stockholm. Highly recommend the Tofu and Shrimp balls. Worth a visit for sure.

Amazing food. Great people. Enjoy the atmosphere and the food. Be sure to book a table in good advance. Hands down one of my absolute favorite places.

Very overrated. My boyfriend and I generally like Asian food and love small sharing dishes, but we didn't like anything about this restaurant. We were hoping to try lots of different flavors in this meal but it just felt like the chef forgot to add any flavor at all. The food was bland and just lacking anything interesting. The waitress seemed to agree we had a good mix of dishes but it felt like most of it was just shredded/julienned vegetables with lots of vinegar on... It felt like they wanted the food to be a surprise as the menu wasn't descriptive at all, a lot of "sides" and ingredients on the plates were not mentioned. Probably the worst meal we had during our 2 week holiday.

Amazing food. I really reccomend if you go there with other people, that you order 5-6 dishes and share so you get to experience different dishes. Really friendly staff, although it was very crowded there and we really had a hard time to hear each orher because of other peoples noice. Otherwise great food 😊👍🏻

Overall Great as always, my wife grew up in China and both of us love the food since the first time we tried it. We always return to Surfers whenever we are in Visby. Food We order maybe 6 dishes, rice is ofc included. The only dishes I miss are red braised pork and perhaps a plate of small stir fried clams. And please add more white booze (baijiu) and Chinese beers to the menu. 👍🍻 Atmosphere Nice atmosphere for big and small groups, they also have seats outside. Booking Surfers is popular so make sure to either book your table well in advance, or in worst case go to the restaurant 30-45min before it opens in order to grab one of their "open" slots.
