As I walked in, I mentioned that "I am a surfing cowboy." This is true to the bone, as I have been surfing for 20 years, and have a fetish with Cowboy stuff over the years. I actually came there because I was looking for some ding repair stuff for my surfboard. Thinking that they would be at least a partial surf shoppe, I figured that that might have it. They did not. I ended up taking a look at some of their "Cowboy" stuff, which included some vintage pocket knives with abalone, and some topaz stone pendents and jazz. No belt buckles whatsoever. No bolo neck ties whatsoever. There might have been a few cowboy hats around. So on the cowboy level they get 2 stars. I then took a look at a vintage bellyboard that was probably over double my age. It was remarkably well preserved. There are also some other very cool looking surfboards there. So the surfing gets a 4 star. By the way, I'm not even holding it against them that they did not have my ding repair stuff. One of the sales guys was pretty nice, like a 4 star, and the other was kinda a "too busy for the customer" type, like a 3 star. So overall it's 3 star.
