Great place to stay. The room was very clean with a great bed. The shared facilities were in perfect condition. Location is great as the ocean and scenic locations are nearby. Pricing was very reasonable compared to other accommodation in the area.

We stayed at Surfpoint mid way through a Cape to Cape hike. Surfpoint stored a food drop for us, also provided a free self service laundry (a big plus after 4 days of hiking). Room was a twin bed with communal toilet/shower that was spotlessly clean. Check in staff efficient and friendly.

I have stayed at Surfpoint Resort for many years now and can't believe my initial review wasn't posted by Google. Surfpoint is a hidden gem located in the Margaret River region at Gnarabup. Kate and all the staff working here are so friendly and accommodating. Nic and Nick have worked extremely hard to make Surfpoint into a very homely and friendly environment for all the guests. The bedrooms, living and kitchen areas are immaculate. The resort is environmentally friendly, gardens are beautiful, outdoor areas, pool and barbecue nicely located and relaxing. All the decor inside and around the resort is beautiful. Gnarabup beach just a short walk down the hill, you really won't be disappointed by the views particularly at sunset. I now consider Surfpoint as my second home and always top of my list for accommodation. Infact I have just booked my holidays today with Kate who was extremely friendly and helpful with my dates. Thankyou Surfpoint for all the wonderful holidays, looking forward to my next stay with you. Martin

What an absolute gem of a place!! I enjoyed my time here so much, it’s situated about 10 minutes out of the Margaret river town, in a beautiful quiet spot next to the beach, so it’s very quiet and peaceful. A few minutes from Caves Road so a great base to explore the capes! I was a little sceptical with a shared bathroom, as hotels of these type are usually more budget than nice - but this is an exception! The room was comfy and clean and the facilities were unexpected and fantastic (tv room, large living room, dining room, chefs kitchen, laundry). It feels more like a lux BnB than a hotel/motel. I especially liked the Nespresso coffee/hot chocolate station, free laundry facilities, and the use of little rolled up cloth towels in the bathrooms (a really nice eco touch!) I met a few other guests and we had a wine by the fire 🙂 and Betty the resident Labrador is adorable! I can’t wait to stay again when I’m back in this beautiful part of Australia!!

The Surf Point was a great resort to stay for our family. The kitchen was a great place to cook along with visitors from different parts of the world. It was well equipped, and many were prepared their dinner over there. The coffee machine got plenty of selections available. The pool was a small one, and the kids enjoyed it. It was close to the beach and we as a family enjoyed staying there.

Beautiful little resort a short walk from the beach and cafe. Lovely place to watch the sunset. The resort itself is very well run with lots of little touches of luxury like the locally produced teas, top notch coffee machine in the common area, Koala Eco bath products, little Christmas cookies etc. The common living room, kitchen and laundry room was spotless and our room was extremely clean.

Surf Point Resort is an excellent and welcoming place to stay, whether an individual, couple, family, or a large group, and, happy to report, is sensibly and affordably priced.||We were greeted with of a large spray of kangaroo paws and saltbush in a vase in our room, from the resort gardens. Such a lovely touch. Love the room decor and banksia theme, the high ceilings, and the gardens in front of all the rooms.| |Pride and care are obvious throughout, from the clean rooms, with garden outlooks, the clean shared amenities, to the well-kept gardens and lawns. Nic, the manager, is wonderfully helpful and very pleasant in her approach. We had to call upon her after hours, but she attended our needs most pleasantly, even though her evening was interrupted.||The shared facilities of a large lounge space (with a heater for cosy winter getaways), pleasant, shared dining room, and well-equipped shared communal kitchen, are all lovely big, neat, clean spaces, with a lovely outlook over the pool and trees beyond.||Located just a short drive from Margaret River, Cowaramup, Witchcliffe, and local attractions, Surf Point Resort is a great coastal place to base yourself while you explore the surrounds or simply relax at the comfortable resort. I am looking forward to my next stay here. Thank you Nic for making it such a pleasant stay for my birthday long weekend.

Have been here a number of times over the years and it has a beautiful, welcoming, homely feel. The small touches make the world of difference - the immaculately clean communal kitchen with all the essentials and space. A large common area with multiple quiet spaces with local teas available. There is lots of nature within the resort so it feels very peaceful (not over-developed or crammed). The staff go above and beyond and are very knowledgeable. The location is incredible, 5 minute walk from the beach and white elephant. Great surf spots nearby too. Thank you very much

Yelp
I stayed at Surfpoint a couple of weeks back and could not make any complaints. Some websites are calling it a Resort, but I would say it is more in line with a Hostel - separate rooms, with shared kitchen and living area. Our room was really cosy and the owners were lovely and very helpful. They also have a pool, which for us in winter was uninviting but I can see that being a big plus in the warmer months. Prevelly beach (a two minute walk away) is beautiful. And there is a nice walking path along the coast there too. I would say compared to staying in central Margaret River, staying at Surfpoint was more relaxed and peaceful. It is also next door to a good bar and resto, Gnarabar.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at this resort the very first time we visited Margs. It's in such a good location, within walking distance to the beach and a few restaurants. The resort itself is nice - clean rooms, nice gardens and friendly staff. There is a communal kitchen if you want to save some money and cook your own meals.
