Surfside Beach

Great beach to watch the planes from and a great beach bar doing g good food and cold drinks. What more could you ask for!

It was a fun experience to watch the planes land during happy hour from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a cocktail and a beer. The service was very slow due to the crowds, and there were too few bar staff. Ordering a cocktail took 40 minutes, so happy hour was already over. Ordering an extra beer didn't arrive.

Very nice quiet beach. Bit rocky and grassy in the water but some good sandy spots. Food and drink close by and lots of parking. Got to see some cool fish close to shore and a good view to watch the planes coming in to land

The beach is just under a 30 min walk from the cruise port. A quiet beach with a couple beach bars that have lounge chairs and umbrellas that you have to pay for. There is a lot of seaweed on the bottom so you can clearly see where you can walk out in the water from the beach. Not much to see if you are snorkeling. The airport runway is at the end of the beach so planes are always landing and are very close. The beach is not bad, a free place you can go to from a cruise boat so you do not have to pay for an over priced excursion.

This ended up being my favorite beach in Aruba. It’s much less crowded than Eagle beach or Baby beach. Calm waters, soft sands, and nearby restaurants. Great place to watch the sunset.

One of the best, most underrated beaches in Aruba for sure. They have a really nice restaurant right on the beach, and a bar too. The airport runway is right next to the beach too, so you can see airplanes arriving from around the world up close, and if you look back you can see them departing too!

Excellent place to grab some beach eats and drinks and watch some planes. It's immediately under the approach path for runway 11. The restaurant is priced really well, and the beach is shallow so you can walk out really far.
