What a bloody awesome experience! Dr Pepper being available was a huge win on its own but the amount of food you get for your money is outstanding! The brisket was absolutely to die for and get all that all on its own, the maple covered corn bread was also a favourite. Wish we our local BBQ place was as good as this back home, we’d be there every single week! Absolutely amazing all round, good job everyone!

Tasty food with good vegetarian options as well. I really enjoyed the Alabama Burger with sweet potato patty and the hubby loved his meaty burger. Generous serving of fries on the side. Nachos with guacamole were the only average item: Nachos were crisp but guac too little :) Service was great, with every staff member very friendly and helpful. We’re definitely going back here.

I’ve been looking forward to this place called Surlys for so so long. And it absolutely was worth it. Listen up, I’m the Face/Definition of a Carnivore Predator. Also, half of my life I lived in The States the birth place of BBQ, we own it! So I have the authority and audacity to crown the champion of BBQ. I give it to Surlys. They are the Greatest Chosen BBQ chain in the southern hemisphere All the food were absolutely scrumptious and the hospitality service the entire team gave me including Charmaine, John, willow, nathany, Cam were phenomenal that I truly felt like a part of the family. Now Surlys has become a regular visit for me and a part of me. I’ll definitely be back for more because you can’t never get enough. Also another restaurant added to my repertoire. I’m extremely grateful that this place exist in this lovely country I live in and get to experience the phenomenon anytime I want God bless Surlys

Really chill vibes and super cool staff. The food was rather excellent and our friend group pigged out a little bit on all the barbecue. Trivia was a lot of fun, host had awesome energy but we bombed out with the answers lol. Other teams seemed to do fine so maybe it’s just us.

Everything came out well, except the brisket that we specifically went to surly’s for came out extremely dry. So dry, we couldn’t finish it. The picture might not show it, but the chopped brisket on the right of the photo we so hard and dry.

We couldn't wait to visit Surlys after months of salivating when scrolling through their socials. I was dubious, as not all live up to the hype. Thankfully, it was nothing but true love at first bight. The family and I devoured the bbq platter for four. The meats were full of flavour, perfectly seasoned, smoked and juicy. Perfect portions (no skimping here) which went down a treat. We couldn't fault anything on our platter. 10/10. Corn bread, creamy corn and tater tots were sensational. The only area for improvement was the Mac & cheese. Wasn’t to our liking as it lacked the cheese creaminess we desired. The BB burger was next level in every aspect. Couldn’t fault it. Yes I had a burger and the platter. What? Nothing to see here! Can’t wait to go back for more Surlys goodness. What an epic feed, something dreams are made of. I haven't stopped thinking and talking about it since. Thanks for making my birthday dinner epic. 9.5/10 overall for food, service, atmosphere and price.

Surlys is a great spot for top notch BBQ, cocktails and atmosphere. I had buffalo chicken wings which are a classic but ive had a spate of poor ones lately. These were perfect....hot, fresh and just rhe right amount of heat. I also had chicken loaded chips which had loads of tasty BBQ chicken, sauce and tonnes of jalapenos. I rate this meal 10/10. Cocktails were BOGOF and they were delicious and plentiful. We went upstairs for a couple games of pool afterwards. A great spot for an all round good night out, I can't wait to go back again soon.
