Suryagarh is super comfortable as you would expect with lovely air conditioned rooms and terrific bathrooms with the most powerful showers. And delicious food. But what really stands out most is the service that you receive that is exceptional from every member of staff. Harshad Vyas the duty manager deserves a special call out but also every one of the team. We also had a challenge with our bookings and a family member pulling a muscle very badly and the team were amazing at rescheduling rooms and helping out with ice packs and kindness. You will go to Suryagarh for the beautiful hotel but you will leave with memories of the most wonderful staff. Home from home. Thank you all.

An enchanting place, frozen in another era. The atmosphere that permeates every corner of the palace, from breakfast to the last light of sunset, makes for an unforgettable experience. Dinner in the outdoor courtyard is magical. A special thanks to Satyam Kumar, a young man always smiling and attentive to every detail of the palace. Thanks to Prasun and Pradeep for their impeccable room cleaning service.

This is a quite extraordinary hotel. It is new built but in the style of a large fort. Entering between two cannon and driving under the portcullis you driver through beautiful gardens to reach the grand entry where they beat the drums in welcome. |Anoushka greeted us extremely warmly and helped us to a welcome drink and snacks and then introduced us to the hotel. A cozy but airy bar, a very modern gym which was always assiduously attended to by an excellent personal trainer with a remarkably smart moustache. |The pool is covered but is open to the outside. This is necessary because the sun is FIERCE!!! We were upgraded to a suite for one night and then paid extra to be upgraded to their sumptuous suite with a rooftop small plunge pool with a dining area, sitting area, bedroom and massive bathroom with a double aspect. The roof was sheltered by two awnings and the plunge pool was a welcome relief although it could have been cleaned on the second morning. |We watched the brilliant musicians from the roof with a sundowner and the dancing which was tremendous. |When I walked to breakfast I wondered why such a great hotel would be playing piped music well, they weren’t and but it was a flautist sitting in a window playing. It was super and quite the nicest touch on the way to brecky. |The food was delicious and service solicitous at breakfast with spicy marsala omelettes as requests and great mixtures of Chaat by the chef of the day. We also had the buffet supper which was excellent and wide ranging and did two nights of in room dining - well in our in room dining room. The service was great and the food really well spiced and the breads very well cooked. |The hotel is ably managed by Mr Singh and he and his staff gave us a magical stay. It aint cheap and they know how to charge but it is worth it. We had a gorgeous stay and would return in a jiffy.

Suryagarh Jaisalmer is truly one of the finest properties I have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, every aspect of our stay was pure perfection. The property itself is stunning — a perfect blend of luxury, heritage, and warmth. The staff here are exceptionally well-trained, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was at the reception, the restaurant, or housekeeping, every single person we interacted with made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of fresh options, and every meal at their restaurant was impeccable — rich in flavor and beautifully presented. The activities offered, like horse riding at the farm, were a wonderful touch, especially for kids, making it a great destination for families. Housekeeping was outstanding, with thoughtful touches like daily goodies in the room that made us feel pampered and reminded us we were in a truly luxury property. From entry to exit, everything was seamless and memorable. This is more than just a hotel — it’s an experience. I would highly recommend Suryagarh to anyone visiting Jaisalmer. It’s a 5/5 property in every sense.

My husband and I spent four amazing days at Suryagarh, and we had the best time. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—always smiling and so helpful. Breakfast was such a treat, with live flute music playing and ducks wandering around the courtyard. And we absolutely loved the super cute golden retrievers—they totally stole our hearts! Can’t wait to go back again.

Suryagarh is a masterpiece of architecture, offering a luxury experience that feels truly royal. From the beautifully designed rooms to the exceptional service, everything about the stay evokes the grandeur of Rajasthan's rich heritage. However, I was disappointed that my breakfast experience with the peacocks was cancelled, which was something I had been really looking forward to. That said, Suryagarh remains one of the finest luxury hotels in Jaisalmer, perfect for travelers seeking a blend of authentic desert charm and regal comfort.

Suryagarh is like a blessing in Thar Desert. It offers exquisite comfort and culinary experience. The architectural marvel spellbound as we enter the complex. I stayed for one night with my family and the experience was unmatched to anything that was experienced before. Support staff is impeccable. Chef Meghraj Singh Rathore is the best as far as the culinary delights are concerned. Front desk, stewards, housekeeping all are up and above, and immaculately dressed. The level of luxury and food offered is the best. Our special appreciation to Miss Sanskriti who took us around the property, and to all the ever smiling and courteous staff.
