This has to be one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a very long time! The staff is absolutely amazing, and the hotel’s infrastructure is stunning. The place is called an oasis — and that’s honestly an understatement.The property’s location in Jaisalmer is just perfect — it’s peaceful yet right within reach of everything you’d want to explore. Whether it’s the fort, the local markets, or the desert experiences, everything is easily accessible while the hotel still feels like a calm retreat away from the bustle.The hotel itself is wonderful, but it’s really the staff who make it extraordinary. They turned my stay into something meaningful and recharging. From my first interaction with Kaustubh to the warm farewell from Harsh, every touchpoint felt special and thoughtful.I truly hope the staff remain as motivated and encouraging as they are now — they’re what make this place so remarkable. Highly recommended!

The architecture of the building is stunning and our room was spacious. The food was very good. The service excellent. It is a luxury hotel without any doubt. ||We stayed during a cold spell and our room was chilly but we were provided with a heater which helped but the bathroom was still cold. I love a bath - and there was a huge stone bath in the room - but it was too big and it took too long to fill and the water was cold by the time the bath was sufficiently filled. Maybe a redesign is needed? ||We booked a few activities - including the sundowner trip. The staff we met for the sundowner were very attentive but the weather was too cold to fully enjoy the experience. We cancelled the planes dinner in the desert as a result of this experience because we didn’t want to feel the cold again. ||But we very much enjoyed two trips to discover the area - our guide was Param (also a member of the hotel staff) - he was excellent: a very big thank you to him. A credit to the hotel and a pleasure to spend time with. ||The room we were originally allocated did have a little noise from the service lift - which I mentioned to Mr Ali - and he very kindly arranged for us to be relocated to another room, which was beautifully quiet. Thank you.

Staying in suryagarh amazed by the property I've never seen such a beautiful and wide property in my life. THE food is food, ambience is good, everything seems like heaven on earth. Heartfull thanks to the staff and members of this hotel providing such a nice service, greeting evertime when ever we meet them, thanks to housekeeping team samaina, khushi and Mr. Ravindra for making us feel comfortable and happy through the days. Never seen such a great housekeeping team, when ever I meet them they ask if you want anything any kind of amenities truly amazing. Thank you Suryagarh and I appreciate Housekeeping team. Great stay.

The property itself is undeniably stunning. Architecturally and aesthetically, Suryagarh truly lives up to its reputation—every corner feels grand and thoughtfully designed, making it a visual delight. However, the overall experience fell short when it came to hospitality and service. The staff asked us if we were celebrating a special occasion, and when we shared that it was our first wedding anniversary, we were surprised to receive a burnt cake. This felt careless and disappointing, especially from a luxury property where attention to detail is expected. Services like valet parking were only proactively offered at the time of check-in. After that, the guards and staff seemed largely indifferent, and we were often left to manage parking on our own without any assistance. The breakfast spread was good and enjoyable. However, the à la carte food was quite average and lacked freshness, which again did not align with the standards one would expect from a hotel of this stature. Overall, while Suryagarh excels in terms of aesthetics and ambience, the lack of consistent hospitality, service attentiveness, and food quality significantly impacted our experience. With better training and attention to guest experience, this property could truly match its visual grandeur.

We had a truly memorable stay at Suryagarh. Their hospitality is on another level. They made our 20th wedding anniversary incredibly special by arranging a beautiful dinner at their speciality restaurant, followed by a lovely cake-cutting setup. A heartfelt thank you to Latif,Shinglai and Dazzy for serving us so warmly during the dinner and cake cutting. A special thanks to the hotel manager, Mr. Murtuza, who looked after us from the moment we checked in until checkout, making our stay comfortable, warm, and truly special. We are already looking forward to visiting this beautiful property again soon to experience even more of its exceptional hospitality.thankyou!

I was expecting the property to deliver an experience comparable to the Taj Group, if not Oberoi standards. Unfortunately, it turned out to be more like a mid-level four-star hotel. To begin with, there were no morning greetings or smiles from the staff. The team appeared disengaged, almost as if they were working under compulsion rather than hospitality. It was particularly disappointing to see basic MDF fittings in the bathroom not even properly finished or maintained. Such details are unacceptable, even for a four-star property. Referring to the hotel as a “Small Luxury Hotel” is misleading and detracts from the guest experience. To make matters worse, even the name on the birthday cake was written incorrectly. This is a basic expectation, especially from a property that claims to be “luxury.” Instead of creating a special moment, it ended up spoiling the mood and the overall vibe. Travelling all the way from Dubai to Jaisalmer to celebrate an important milestone in my life, this experience was deeply disappointing. A stay like this can easily ruin a special occasion, and the property simply does not live up to the title it promotes. The only true highlight of the stay was the food—excellent, without a doubt. If the hotel’s primary focus is weddings and corporate events, it would be better not to accept FIT (individual traveler) reservations, as the experience clearly isn’t aligned with their expectations. standards.
