Susanna's Mexican Restaurant is a tiny little hole-in-the-wall kind of place, and I mean tiny. If you’re not one of the first people there, you’re probably going to be waiting a bit. Parking is also pretty rough. Every spot was taken when I arrived. I was about to park across the street in the church parking lot, but they have towing signs posted, so I had to circle around and wait until someone finally pulled out so I could grab a spot.
That said, the food made it worth it.
I ordered the Mexican burger and it was delicious. It comes with homemade fries, which were really good. The burger itself is a massive 1/3-pound beef patty loaded with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayonnaise, and mustard. It had great flavor, but fair warning—it’s messy to eat. Definitely one of those burgers you need plenty of napkins for.
Overall, the food was excellent and I will definitely come back to Susanna’s. Next time though, I’m showing up a lot earlier for lunch so I can actually find a parking spot! 😄
