"Sushi for Aficionados, and Plenty for Landlubbers One of Bill White's collection of restaurants, Sushi Blue serves an eclectic mix of items, from a full sushi bar to "Rad Thai" and Korean street tacos, and a great burger. It's a great place to go if you have a mix of sushi lovers and "not so much" in your dining party. The Green Papaya Salad with cherry tomatoes, cilantro, crushed peanuts and citrus dressing is refreshing. For signature sushi rolls, try the Holy Shishito, with albacore, grilled shishito pepper and cucumber topped with red snapper, avocado, and spicy roasted onion ponzu. The easy access to this restaurant in the Redstone shopping area makes it a popular choice."

The employees were so nice and respectful. However, the sushi was the total opposite. I got the surf'n'turf which was okay, not the best considering the price. The uni here was salty, and fishy. Good quality uni is sweet and doesn't have that fishy taste. The sashimi even just the salmon was not up to par considering the price.

Good experience at Sushi Blue, we got there about 40 min before closing and the server was not happy with us. We did order quickly and made every effort to get out quickly. The food was very good and we spoke with a regular local whom offered a great selection of food items. I had the pinapple mohito which was much bitter than expected but very good. Edamama was excellent, salmon and tuna rolls were clean and tasty. Wife's Cali and special rolls was excellent. My only complaint is we only had Sushi but we had to ask for wasbi and pickled ginger, and when it finally came it was one serving for 4 plates of Sushi, just odd it didn't come with the rolls... Otherwise, happy with the meal..

Google
Tasty and unique house sushi rolls! They're expensive, but not beyond what is reasonable in a location like Park City. We started with the gyoza. They were unlike any other I'd had - they had a very thin wrapper that was fried to the point of almost being cracker-like. They tasted good but were quite tiny. I don't think they are worth the cost because of this. We tried two veggie and two blue rolls. Both veggie rolls (Cashew Clay and King Kong) were excellent! I would order both again. The Cashew Clay had a surprising and pleasant bright flavor due to the lime slices. The King Kong was the closest thing I think I've had to a "dessert" sushi. It is one of the most unique things I've eaten in a while. If you're thinking you might like it you should try it! It was the favorite roll of my entire group. For the blue rolls, we had the Mike Thai Son and Jenny From The Block. I loved the fusion flavors of the first ones and the pieces I had with a lot of the Thai basil were the best. The latter one almost tasted like a complete meal with the salmon and asparagus. I'd recommend both! Restaurant was pretty empty during the lunch hour on a Tuesday. Despite this, service/kitchen was sadly still slow to get food out. Restaurant smelled slightly fishy when we walked it. Everything we ate was super-fresh so it didn't indicate any problems with the food. But, it's not the first impression you'd want.

We had a gift card that someone gave us for this chain of restaurants. The food it's okay. Not great. We had a couple sushi rolls. We had the calamari our usual calamari dish. The rolls were okay. Not great. Maybe it's just a combination of what the roles were that weren't that great. The calamari was pretty good. The service was pretty decent, not the quickest me and Agnes were like the fourth couple in there. It wasn't overly busy. There was a lot of people standing around doing nothing but our service took a little bit of time to get everything. If it wasn't for the gift card I definitely wouldn't come here. I definitely won't come here again. We've had dinner at some of their other restaurants. One in salt lake. The Japanese steakhouse that was better than this place. I need to leave a review for them as don't come here people. It's not the greatest. You can come here if you want to but just not quality people for what you paying for

Every time we go into sushi blue we have a great experience. We met Don the manager and he was a super nice guy. The last few times we were in we had Viviana as our waitress. She is such a doll and always attentive. Great service and great food!

Google
What a breath of fresh air. This venue is top notch in atmosphere and service. The sushi is wonderful. Fresh and bold, popping with fantastic flavor. The hot sauces pack a huge kick if you are into pleasing your palatte with a punch. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Google
Likely the most economical choice for sushi in and around Park city. The sushi wasn’t bad. The macro sashimi I had was quite fishy, but the rest was just fine. I was quite disappointed at the size of the spicy tuna roll. Only four pieces. What really got me was the service. The hostess hardly looked at me, grabbed a menu and took me to a seat where I sat for over 10 minutes before anyone came to my table. I already knew what I wanted, but the waitress did not even come to greet me. I don’t know if they were understaffed, and this was an off night, but the food was good.

Jessie Lowinger

Google
Service was fine but I immediately started feeling sick after my meal and… let’s just say it left my body very quickly when I got home. I also ordered a $22 roll with “crab” which turned out to be imitation crab. Used to like this place years ago but will not go back.

Yelp
Excellent excellent excellent. Got one of their signature rolls (Salmon L Jackson), a spicy tuna roll, a couple slabs of nigiri. Server was attentive and informative. Manager came over to check on our experience. Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. Got the chocolate bread pudding to go... super! 10/10 will be back.

Yelp
Service here is horrible. I have given them multiple chances since they are close by but every single time.. you wait and no one waits on you or the food is wrong or one meals come out and the rest don't. Just not worth it

Yelp
This was our second time dining at Sushi Blue. The gyoza never disappoints and I'm very happy that we got two orders of it. Both the accompanying sauces were great with the gyoza. The Korean beef bowl was also delicious. The vegetables were seasoned better than the beef. Next time will be asking for more sauce. They unfortunately did not have the sushi roll we wanted to try similarly to what happened the last time we dined in. We are hoping third time is the charm and we will be able to try everything we want. The pow day sushi roll was delicious. The waitress was nice. There was a decent lunch rush however she checked on us frequently. The Restraunt itself is a modern vibe. A great lunch spot. You can never go wrong with the reliability of a Bill White Restaurant.

Yelp
Always amazing. Always great atmosphere. Of note this time their fried sushi is gluten free which really made one from our party happy!

Jody C.

Yelp
Food was fine, waitress was nice but the service was so slow, they were so understaffed it ruined an expensive meal. One member of our party never even got their dinner! It was a bummer.

Yelp
We started with lettuce wraps. They were ok. Then we moved to sushi. Sushi was average. Service was great

Yelp
Wow, Sushi Blue has fallen from 4 to 5 stars a few years ago to at best two stars today. It use to be a fun experience, sitting at the sushi Bar, getting cutting edge creations from Adam and the quality was perfect. Today the Sushi Bar experience is miserable, the Sushi Chef doesn't speak english, the waitress has to take your order and the quality and preparation is unpredictable. I ordered a rainbow roll that came out with only two types of fish?? Nothing unique or cutting edge anymore, just boring food at a very high price, a real shame because bit used to be so great!

Yelp
I stopped by Sushi Blue for a light lunch today. I ordered a seaweed salad and a caterpillar roll. I was greeted well and seated and helped by the waitstaff. I felt I was given the right amount of attention. The restaurant was clean and well decorated. A couple of things stood out. When I sat down at the sushi bar, it would have been nice if I was offered a wet towel for my hands. Toward the bottom of my seaweed salad, I found a small black hair. I didn't really know how to bring it up. I also noticed a gentleman with a power screwdriver working above people's heads removing holiday decorations. I believe that could have been done at a different time. I was not given ginger and wasabi with my sushi roll. I feel that this is a simple fix, the servers could ask the customer if they want it, once they know sushi has been ordered. Another suggestion would be to put the chopsticks on the outside of the napkin roll. I know there are ways to fold the napkin in order to do this and tuck them in so they are visible. It was hard to tell if they were in the napkin. This is a very small concern. I asked for lemons to clean my hands after the sushi. I will be back, and I hope things improve.

Yelp
The food is amazeing Service is great Ambiance is great I had such a great time, the food was ready as soon as we ordered it. Everyone working there was so nice, great staff and did I mention how nice they are? Oh i did ? The food is great, THIS IS THE BEST JAPANESE RESTAURANT IN UTAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really recommend this place

Yelp
A really nice place woth great Sushi and atmosphere. Our waitress, Hanna, was extremely nice and attentive; she provided excellent service. The Philly roll was a big winner, and the smoke salmon was crazy good. The appetizer was primed thr meal just right. It would be a 5-star, but very expensive for what you get.

Yelp
Not too happy with our experience last time at sushi blue as our food came out late and they did forget some of our order. The food is always great and tasty but the service was very disappointing. Go round. Still would go back as it is a great restaurant, but it seems as if things have changed.

Yelp
My wife and I live in Park City and this spot is one of two restaurants we go to for good quality sushi and sashimi. The other is Yuki Yama on Main St. The wait staff here are nice, attentive, and courteous. There is ample free street and bike parking in front and near the restaurant (at least during summer/off season). Relaxing, comfortable, ocean themed ambience with plenty of seating inside and on their patio area. Their bar area and sushi bar is large with plenty of TVs if you're just there to grab a drink, bite to eat, and watch some sports. Unlike some of the other reviews, we've never experienced any unpleasant, or inedible raw seafood and we eat here quite often. I always order a large sashimi plate with several types of nigiri and rolls. We do the same thing for take out when feeling lazy, but prefer to dine in. Keep in mind in you're dining in Park City where you are limited for Asian food, especially Japanese. If you want more diverse options take a drive to Salt Lake City or even Murray. With that said if you're not in the mood for Asian food, try the burger and fries. Tacos too. They are pretty damn good.

Yelp
Food- 3 Service- 4 Ambiance-4 Food: The fish tastes good for being in Utah, and most of the rolls we ordered were very tasty. The only roll I really did not like was the Surf and Turf, as the seared wagyu didn't complement the crabby roll at all. The Krabby Patty and the Jenny on The Block were very good. The entrees that we ordered were varied in quality. The yakisoba and ramen were fairly well done, and I would order both again. The steak, on the other hand, was disappointing and very salty. This place excels in sushi (hence the name) and okay in terms of entrees (although I see massive potential in all the dishes). Service: I'll keep it straight, our waitress was super kind and friendly. The only reason the service isn't a 5 is because our food took a while to come out, but the staff seem very welcoming. Ambiance: This place creates a good atmosphere, but there's nothing that makes it stand out. I think this place is worth trying, despite my lower score. It has the potential to be great with a few minor changes. The owner seems to read some of these reviews, and I respect them for actively engaging with their customers. Hope to see this place thrive next time I go to Utah.

Yelp
Excellent sushi. Reasonable price for quality and quantity of food. Went during lunch so had light lunch portion. Spicy tuna hand roll was really good.

Sam C.

Yelp
Worst sashimi I've ever had, terrible cuts and couldn't even chew through two of the pieces, service was terrible watching 4 people/ servers sit at the hostess table and talk. We were very disappointed and will never be back.

Brind K.

Yelp
The Tuna Turner is one of the best rolls I have ever had. The other items we had were so, so. They served me a room temp beer, but then quickly replaced it with a cold one. I would go back, just for the Tuna and Shrimp roll.

Yelp
(Tookout 01/30/20 TH @ 5.00pm): Sushi sounded good, but a "blue burger" was more convenient! I was between movie viewings at Day 8 of the Sundance Film Festival, I needed something quick and easy for an early dinner, so by default Sushi Blue was where I ended-up only because they appeared to be the least busy, takeaway accessible, and directly across from the Redstone 8 Cinemas where I was watching movies. Sure, I could've returned to Red Rock Junction for a brew and appetizer, but this was my chance to try yet another different restaurant. Was this a wise choice!? PURCHASE Blue Burger w/Fries ($16.00): -lb Bill White Farms hand-pattied chuck, cheddar cheese, lettuce, red onion, and tomato between a ciabatta bun, this was truly a simple no-frills kind of burger with a frills and resort price, and at least was of decent size, but that was all. The fries were plentiful with an enjoyable crispy outside and moist inside. Sadly, the value was lacking on this meal when comparable ones easily would've been several dollars cheaper https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=W9za9pFAgCivQJ7ogAce5A&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. SERVICE Greeted by a friendly young hostess, she provided me a menu and eventually took my order as I waited on a nearby cushioned bench seat. About 15 minutes later, my food was packed up and ready to go along with some condiments, napkins, and utensils. A pretty straightforward process that got me out with enough time to eat and catch my next set of movies - thank you! PARKING (FREE) Located in the Newpark Town Center and Redstone Center at the Park City Junction Shopping Center, there was plenty of parking - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A decently-sized clean and modern-looking restaurant that appeared to go back a bit with many tables, chairs, bench seats, and a sushi bar. Various framed pictures hung on the walls. Decent natural lighting came through the front glass windows and doors while a ton of recessed electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. Several TVs were spread throughout while Reggae music played in the background. ATTIRE Totally "ski-resort" casual, so I would normally be in a beanie, fleece top, thermals, jeans, and warm waterproof boots, but during the warmer time of year I'd imagine something more casual such as a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL This wasn't a very exciting first visit to Sushi Blue, and the fact that I ordered a burger because of my circumstances at the time didn't make the situation any better. Needless to say, I wish I had more time to actually have ordered sushi at a sushi restaurant instead of one of the few non-asian and "turf" food items on their tight menu of sushi https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=uGDBZOiRX3HVJfTi18KJLg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw and other seafood-focused items https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=kBc8iPyl6jHWiFgRaQ5pkg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. The prices were certainly on the higher end, but the service was very much to my liking. I found good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $18.00 BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 3.0 STARS

Yelp
A couple people in the area recommended this place so I figured we had to try it. When you first walk in the ambience is very nice and I can see why they call it sushi blue. My favorite color is blue so I loved the blue lighting every where. I brought my friend and his family. We started out with some flavored Saki which was very good. We got two different flavors, purple haze and elderflower. Both were very tasty and a nice chance from your standard hot saki. As far as the food went we decided to share a bunch of different rolls. Each roll that we got was very good and very tasty with their different sauces and mixture of fish. I loved all the different names of the rolls. Very cute play on words. Next time I'm in town I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Good sushi restaurant near the Canyons Village of Park City but definitely nothing mind blowing. We made a reservation since we were a large party and were promptly seated when we arrived at 830pm. The server quickly took our drink and appetizer orders. We ordered the pork gyoza, edamame, and I got a miso soup. The gyoza and edamame were good. They forgot about my soup so had to remind them to bring it out which wasn't a big deal. For food, some of our group (the non-sushi eaters) ordered the yellow curry ramen, shrimp pho, and beef rice bowl. They all said they were good. The rest of us ordered a few of the speciality rolls and nigiri which were good. The weird thing was that the entree meals came out 10-15 minutes earlier than the sushi which the rest of the group felt bad about us sitting there watching them eat but it worked out. For desert, we got the coffee sundae and bread pudding. Both were good. Bread pudding was a very large portion and in my opinion could've been shared between 4 people. Overall, positive experience if you are in the area and want sushi.

Yelp
I walked into Sushi Blue thinking I'm at a sushi restaurants. By the looks of the menu, it's more like Asian fusion than sushi to me. I mean, you can order Korean tacos, banh mi, burgers, Thai beef, fish n chips, oh and sushi too. It's just all over the place and a little confusing. I ordered the hot sake because I'm feeling a little cold coming on and it really hit the spot. Can't say it used my cold, but it sure made my stomach nice and warm. I'm at a sushi restaurant so I ordered a $19 Jenny from the block roll and it was good but not filling. So I ordered the beets rolls because I love beets, but this roll wasn't as good. It felt like eating a salad in a sushi roll. I understand this was a vegetarian roll, but the rice wasn't consistent with the Jenny roll.
google avatar

Yelp
Really delicious Asian fusion! Absolutely loved the Korean tacos and ban mi!! Super yummy!! Some pics of the updates menu.

Yelp
The sushi was fresh and delicious! I enjoyed the grilled octopus and Korean beef lettuce boats. The wine was great as well.

Yelp
Picked up a last minute reservation here. Ordered the sake kama which is smoked here. The smoked preparation gives it an interesting flavor profile. Not sure I loved it. I ordered toro, big eyed tuna, hamachi and ocean trout all sashimi. The big eyed tuna and ocean trout were on point. The marbling in the ocean trout was great. It took 90-100 minutes for our sushi to come out. They weren't particularly busy. Our server apologized. Not sure if they were just backed up in the kitchen or what. They brought us out a $300 bill. No discounts or anything. Instead they offered us two edamame's and said the delay was due to a bunch of to go orders and because I ordered gluten free. Ok.... At any rate the sushi was great. Kitchen needs to figure out getting stuff out.

Yelp
My star scoring system: Quality, service, price, ambience, je ne sais quoi. Nice outdoor seating area on the corner and pretty good sushi. The inside dining area is claustrophobia inducing and scatter shot between the tables, walled-off bar area and tatami dining. The rolls are decent and have funny names. When it works, and the sushi is good, it's great: the Tuna Turner. When it's not working, it's really not working: the Mike Thai Son (doing way too much!). The entrees are tasty and serving size match the prices charged. Prices are high and I'm preferential to dining at a higher quality restaurant at this price point, like Shabu or Yuki Yama on Main Street. The service was on par and attentive. No real je ne sais quoi to speak of, but such opportunities! Improved music, nice seating area to wait for a table, more polished branding, to name a few. Overall: 2 stars for quality and service.

Yelp
My friend and I came for a late afternoon meal after snowboarding around 4pm. We were trying so hard to eat light and try to have room for dinner... We had the sake maki and seaweed salad as a starter. We both had the mushroom ramen which was superb! If we didn't have dinner plans, I would have ordered more sushi.
google avatar

Tashelle W.

Yelp
Sushi Blue is worth the 30+ minute drive for us and even the wait when we get there (which isn't always the case). The staff are friendly and attentive. The sushi rolls are our favorite. My personal favorite so far is the Krusty Krab roll. My son's favorite is the Snow Dance roll. My son also loved the ramen. Today he tried both the Tonkotsu and Mushroom Ramen and enjoyed both. Ramen + delicious sushi rolls, what more could you ask for... Dessert of course. We tried the Chocolate Bread Pudding for the first time today! I'm so excited because it's the one item on the menu I always stare at but never order. It was enough to share after a lot of food. It was wonderful! We will be back soon!

Tara K.

Yelp
Great sushi! Very nice atmosphere I like they they have a different selection of rolls

Alex K.

Yelp
My experience at sushi blue was nothing short of spectacular! The food was an explosion of flavors in my mouth and don't even get me started on the service which to say the least was INCREDIBLE. My hostess Saide so kindly accommodated an extra chair for my broken leg and my amazing server Makayla constantly checked in on me to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. Definitely coming back to this fine eating establishment where I know I will be taken care of. Huge thanks to Makayla and Saide!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Disappointing sushi. Too much rice and too little fish. We got the salmon roll, salmon l Jackson roll and snow dance roll. Same review for all 3. We do like that they have a pretty good kids menu and the beef short rib was huge but again underwhelming. Overcooked. Tonkatsu ramen was pretty good despite the skimpy pork belly portion. Skip this place. They try to have too much variety in the menu while sacrificing quality. Service was excellent though.

Yelp
I love sushi blue!! Their food is always delicious and I love their cocktails, especially the coconut margarita. Our server, Stella, was amazing! She was so friendly and attentive, she also recommended delicious items for us to try. I've been here a few times and every time I have been very satisfied by the food as well as the customer service.

Yelp
Our food at this restaurant was poor enough that we felt we needed to write a review. We were excited to see an Asian restaurant near our hotel as we love Asian food. We were a little hesitant to go because the prices were high, but we are in park city so it can be expected. I would have at least though the food would be good. First the good. The ambience was nice, it was cozy with lots of seating. The service was alright, it seemed like they might have been understaffed. We waited a bit to get our order in and get our food. Once we were ready to pay we had to wait a very long time. Not the waitress' fault though. She was very nice and offered great service. Now for the food, the more important part.... The gyoza was very good, which made us very excited for the rest of our food, but it was disappointing after that. My boyfriend ordered the short rib and I ordered the "rad Thai" and both were below average. His short rib came out cold, Brussels sprouts were mushy and drowning in the sauce, and the rice was undercooked. We let the staff know that the short rib was only warm for the first 3 bites and the rest was very cold, it seemed like it was left out for a while. All they said was that yeah it was probably left out before it was brought out to us. I had to pay an extra $4 to add chicken to the "rad Thai" as it comes plain. I had the smallest pieces of chicken that at first I didn't even think they added chicken. Pad Thais are always my go to if a restaurant has it and this was nothing like a pad Thai. Flavor was underwhelming and the noodles were undercooked, it was very limey and didn't have much flavor otherwise. Even the chicken didn't have much flavor. It was an $18 plate for basically only noodles, not impressed. We went to Smiths afterwards to get some food and it was better....

Yelp
I am completely disappointed with my experience at Sushi Blue. Firstly, they got rid of all of their lunch specials so that in it of itself is enough to get me to not want to go back. Secondly, it took us over 45 minutes to get 3 rolls of sushi. The rolls were over priced and lacked flavor. If you are in the area I would suggest trying a different restaurant.

C. N.

Yelp
Another disappointing experience. We won't be back. A bone in my salmon, super fishy amberjack (usually my favorite), most of the rolls are spicy (to cover up poor quality fish). Ugh. So disappointing.

Yelp
Great food and friendly service. Lots of delicious small plates. We mixed it up and tried several new things. Asian lettuce cups were great. We got kalbi but next time I would choose chicken as the heavy beef did not pair as well with the tender lettuce. Rad Thai was fantastic. Ask for a couple of serving spoons to toss the noodles and better incorporate the veg and sauce. Wok broccoli was mostly pork belly. Not sure if this was due to supply chain issues, but I didn't care for it. Ikura nagiri was some of the best we had ever had. Spider roll and spicy hamachi roll were good but uninspired. Green goddess roll was delicious. Coffee sundae dessert was a great finish. Looking forward to eating here again soon! Recommend

Yelp
I just wanted to commend our server/manager Makayla S, She is absolutely a gem in every way possible. Soooo kind, funny, easy going and really attentive. We appreciate her so much

Yelp
Great service and food. We got the teriyaki beef lettuce cups with miso soup, edamame, prawns and a bunch of sashimi. Would recommend all! Wonderful service. Great drinks for kids like a special blue lemonade and blue shirley temple.

Yelp
This sushi Asian fusion eatery is a bad bust! First, I'll commend the exceptional and friendly wait staff and modern décor. That's about it for what I can praise. Here we go... The menu comprises of a number of typical Japanese appetizer small plates with a fusion twist. There are also some burger selections, ramen bowls, and a number of specialty sushi rolls. It is a decent selection, however, the taste and portion sizes of the food along with the speed or which the food came were terribly unacceptable. Having arrived at 5 o'clock in the evening, with no other customers in the restaurant, I was expecting to have fast service. It took over 30 minutes to receive three rolls and a small appetizer dish to arrive. What was equally shocking as the long wait time, was the incredibly small portion sizes of the sushi rolls. At an average of $12 to $17 a roll for only six pieces, we left dinner feeling hungry. Additionally, one of our roles was made incorrectly and had to be remade. I will note that our server was particularly accommodating to immediately offer to remake it and remove the cost of the dish from our bill. Surprisingly the remade sushi roll was served within two minutes. Hmmmm, why did it take so long the first time? Unless you are dying for a sushi fix in land-locked Park City, Utah, I would not recommend coming to Sushi Blue. You would be better off visiting the nearby Smith's grocery store for store-bought sushi.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and I'm so happy I came back again. We had the hamachi Kama the green goddess veggie roll and kimchi. Great place for lunch now that the patio is open. We had a couple special requests and they went above and beyond to make it happen. I'll be back soon !

Carri W.

Yelp
I spent $20 a roll for sushi, which seriously was a joke. Smiths grocer offers sushi better than your place-for 1/3 the price. Sorry, I will not be back and can't recommend your 'sushi' restaurant. I can think of many other places that blow you out of the water-smiths and fresh market sadly certainly! Yuki Yami, Blind dog, full house, and others. Disappointed

Yelp
We come to PC at least twice a year and for some reason we always get disappointed tes with sushi blue. This time, we placed an order to go. My husband went to pick it up and whoever packed the order told him that no soy sauce was available. Honestly!!!! A Japanese restaurant with no soy sauce. This lady apparently was too lazy to get some of the soy sauce and pack it in a plastic container, since apparently they ran out of prepackaged soy. Second, we ordered a miso soup. The amount of soup would have made laugh any restaurants. The following night with try another sushi restaurant called Shoyu. Please go there. Food is better, less expensive, and great service.

Yelp
Great sushi but the prices are crazy high (Park City I know but I live in LA and we don't pay this much !) They forgot one of our items and also zero wasabi in there. Definitely good dense rolls with good fish but over the top prices.

Yelp
Worth a visit, but keep your group smaller. Decent Sushi in this area is hard to come by. Even the more well known restaurants on Main Street in Park City get good reviews, but they don't deserve it. They get the review because you are eating sushi at a ski resort. So there's always an extra inflation. Sushi Blue has quite a few bad reviews and I always read them while I'm there to understand them. Most of them were for marginal service, waiting too long, etc. Unfortunately, that is common in ski towns because they just get overcrowded at meal times. Sushi Blue has a diverse menu (more Asian Fusion) which I think is great. Good options for everyone. The service was great - good job Hannah - and the roll I had (Tuna Turner) was delicious with a portion of fish matching the roll size. I had a side order of Hamachi Tuna (great condition and flavor) and other items on the menu looked great. Miso soup was fresh (not just some flavored bath water) with lots of tofu squares. The only reason I knocked them down was price. I'm sure operating in Park City is expensive, but this seems a little rich. $19 for the roll and $9 for the Hamachi Nigiri (2-pieces). I'm sort of the dining scout for a family of 30 people. When we see something - I try it and then send out the recommendation. Unfortunately, I could not see myself bringing a large group here. It would be an extremely expensive night. Too expensive for food that is good, but not great - nothing super unique. 2-4 people, probably okay. For a good change of pace in an otherwise meat and potatoes and bar food and pizza town - this is great for a party of 2-4.

Yelp
Great food and great service. Once they had to move us to a different location because there was a large group coming in and they needed a bunch of empty seats together. The manager, Jose ended up taking really good care of us. Six months later we came back, he remembered us and even gave us some free mochi! We've been here several times whenever we visit Park city, and always are happy with the food. Topit's right next to the Redstone cinemas, so it's a great place to have dinner before or after Seeing a movie.

Yelp
First off, I really liked the interior of this restaurant. It is nicely appointed and seating, although standard, is quite comfortable. There are drapes that section off one table from another so it gives the feel of private. The restaurant is also located in a mall not far from the Canyons Village of Park City and though there is free parking available in front of the restaurant, I'm not sure how easy/difficult it would be to find parking on a busier day (we were there on Christmas so most of the shops and restaurants in the area were closed). When we arrived, we were promptly greeted and seated. Throughout our meal, our server was hospitable and ensured that we were taken care of. The menu had a variety of Japanese ramen, Vietnamese Pho and Thai noodles. And, of course, a variety of sushi too. Our party ordered the Tonkotsu, Yellow Curry Ramen and a roll. Both ramen dishes were disappointing. The roll was a tad better but still disappointing. Have to say that the food quality/quantity/presentation did not match up to the ambience of the restaurant. For the price, we truly expected more - at least for the servings and ingredients to be on par with what most other decent ramen places offer. For example, at $16, the yellow curry ramen did not include any pork slices. It was mainly a bowl of noodle soup and nothing else. Hence, we paid extra to add pork slices. But, unfortunately, we should have just left it out because it was so overcooked that it was difficult to bite off and literally felt like hardened meat. The veggies were minimal, if any. The Yellow Curry Ramen broth was quite alright though and was the tastiest of the entire dish. The Tonkotsu broth, however, was on the salty side. As for the roll, well, it was quite alright except the presentation was a little off. The sizes and height of each roll was different. It looked like something out of my kitchen (since I'm not proficient at making rolls). But the taste wasn't too bad. We did let our server know of the overcooked pork and she returned to say her manager will remove it from the bill. It was just $2, no biggie. And we weren't concerned with getting the $2 credit. Thought it was a nice gesture on their part nevertheless. When the bill came, not only did they still charge the $2, there was a charge for an additional bowl of ramen and they charged $18 for the Yellow Curry Ramen instead of $16. We understand this could be an honest mistake but it could also swing in the direction of dishonesty. It didn't sit well with us that there could be two errors (not counting the $2 credit) on one bill. Thankfully we caught the errors and brought it up to our server who explained that the Yellow Curry Ramen was a new item (in fact it was the first one she sold) and hence, the item was new in the system. She did get the bill corrected with no issues and we appreciated that. I'd really love to return to this restaurant again. It seems they do have some winners on their menu (as seen from other patrons' reviews). Perhaps we just happened to order the two items that are not their best.

Yelp
Best sushi I have ever had! If you are looking for good sushi and fair price in Pc this is it. Cocktails are delicious too!
