Sushi Box Newlands

I had the salmon roses and avo maki at Sushi Box and was really impressed. The sushi was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented, making it a real highlight of the visit. Their menu has a good variety, but even with just these two choices I could tell the quality is top notch. The seating is very comfortable, with heaters that make it enjoyable no matter the weather. The overall setup creates a warm and relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for dining in. On top of that, there’s plenty of parking available, which makes visiting hassle-free and convenient. What stood out the most was the service. The staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, always happy to assist with recommendations. Combined with the welcoming environment and excellent food, Sushi Box is a spot I’ll definitely be returning to.

I usually go to the Constantia branch, but this was a completely new and pleasant experience. The atmosphere and ambiance was great, the waiters were friendly and the food was amazing and fresh. Will probably become the regular sushi spot moving forward.

If you looking for a nice quiet date night venue you cannot go wrong here . Its not the biggest of restaurants but has enough space to make it no seem cramped. My only wish was that the portions were a bit larger because even after the 2 boxes of tuna and salmon I was still hungry . They are some of the best I've tasted though so its still worth it . The service is fast and friendly, I did not feel rushed at any point

It's pretty good sushi and a nice spot. It is slightly more expensive than your average sushi, and the sushi is better than your average. The atmosphere is very nice. The restaurant is tucked away in a little corner. What I thought was really sweet is that they gave us an "appetizer" sushi platter on the house. Their homemade lemonade is amazing, too! It's a nice in-between of super expensive and average sushi. 5/5 Would go again

Place was cute and cozy. The waitresses made me feel at home. My waitress Bongi was so kind, she even assisted me when she saw I was struggling to figure out how to eat edamame beans for the first time. We had such a good laugh. Food was fresh and flavourful. Even enjoyed a delicious complimentary soup! Will definitely go again.

I will not buy any other sushi ever again. Sushi Box 🍱 is the absolute BEST. & their customer service and loyalty program is excellent.

Great food, but the online ordering system doesn’t work. I place a large order and paid at 1030 for 1200 pick up but when I got to the restaurant at 1215 they hadn’t even seen the order. Apparently it was because the order was placed before they opened, not good enough.
