We were visiting Westhampton Beach from California and decided to try Sushi by Bou. It was such an amazing experience! Sushi was incredible, service was great and I loved how cute the interior was. Make sure to get the sake! So good.

Sushi by Bou is an absolute gem in NYC. From the moment you step in, the ambiance is intimate and stylish—perfectly setting the tone for what’s to come. The omakase is expertly crafted, with each piece presented beautifully and packed with flavor. The chefs are not only incredibly skilled, but also engaging, making the experience feel personal and memorable. Service was top-notch—attentive without being intrusive—and the cocktail selection was a perfect complement to the meal. Every bite felt intentional, fresh, and elevated. It’s clear the team here takes pride in both the food and the experience. Whether you're a sushi enthusiast or just looking for a special night out, Sushi by Bou delivers. I’ll definitely be back!

We had an incredible experience at Sushi by Bou Westhampton! Our group of four included some kosher-style diners, and we were all so impressed with how accommodating the team was. Chef Kin is a true professional. Each piece of the omakase just kept getting better and better, it was a true culinary journey. The service was outstanding, and a special shout-out to Jonah and Joseph, the two young servers who took care of us with such professionalism and warmth. From start to finish, everything was seamless, delicious, and fun. We’ll definitely be back!

I can’t say enough good things about Sushi Suite. I’ve been wanting to try real omasake for some time but had trouble justifying the price. When I heard about this $50 option I couldn’t wait. Situated in a small room above a simple market the location is unique and comfortable. The room holds 12 diners so your party will be seated with other groups which makes it a communal and fun dining experience. The room is cozy and the whole vibe fun. That is all just a precursor to a 12 course meal hand chosen by the chef based on what’s freshest that day. I can’t even name all the different pieces we were served but each were unique and delicious. Chef explained each dish as he played for the group. The host Josh was all over the room checking in and refreshing everyone's Sake. The food and price point can not be beat and I can’t wait to return.

Sushi by Bou in Westhampton is truly an unforgettable dining experience. The omakase was perfectly crafted, with each piece of sushi bursting with flavor. Chef Keen was not only skilled but also warm and engaging. Jonah and Joseph provided great service making the meal feel personal and special. The intimate atmosphere and attention to detail elevated the entire evening. I can’t wait to comeback.

Excellent service. Super accommodating for our group that included 2 kids. Passionate sushi chefs that described what we were eating. Attentive staff. Lovely ambience. Who knew an upscale Omakase could take place in a beach themed setting?

Had a fantastic Omakase. This was my first Omakase experience and I loved every moment of it. The staff were knowledgeable, and the flavors were immaculate. Will definitely be back!

Went here last night to celebrate a birthday. We had high hopes with all of the glowing reviews. Discrete little spot, imagine a kind of Nantucket Beach Speakeasy meets TJ Max. We sat for the standard omakase, rather than the double price “bougie” option. No kitchen in the space, so don’t expect any cooked component that can’t be made in a toaster over. We could tell the fish was good quality, but it was strange to see all of the pieces precut, and portioned sitting on the bar before we started. Not fresh cuts. A few pieces stood out, but for the most part I found the tasting to be a bit homogeneous. The pieces didn’t have much of their own unique flavor profiles. In all the sushi was good, but a bit more variety in flavor would be appreciated at this price point. What I took issue with was the environment the servers created. I found them all very overbearing, like they wanted to be in on the conversations happening on the room. Commenting constantly about their opinions about the menu, which pieces were their favorites, which they personally worked on, and asking incessantly if we liked what we had just put in our mouths. Sometime interrupting us to ask. I found it invasive and distracting. But what word of spoiled it for me was the gratuitous and constant upselling from the staff. From trying to convince us to “go for the bougie” option, “get the BIG MAC” (waygu, uni, toro) nigiri, top shelf sake, etc. It was incessant. Even down to the water. They offered still or sparkling water. I got still assuming it would be tap, then came with small $6 bottles. The folks next to us asked for tap specifically and they poured tap from a pitcher. They had it, just didn’t offer. Tough to go out to an expensive dinner and have the whole staff try to convince you to spend more. Drinks and food total, dinner for 2 was north of $400, with tip. We were still hungry after we left, so we got a cheeseburger before moving on to the next event of the evening.

Yelp
If you've never been to Sydney's before, don't panic like I did when the place looks closed when you arrive. You'll need to walk around the side of the building and ring the doorbell to get in, at which point you'll walk upstairs to a beautifully decorated, nautical themed sushi counter. I arrived with my mom about 10 minutes before our 7:30 pm reservation on a Saturday night, and we were the first ones there. The hostess/waitress was warm and welcoming. She gave us their drink menu which consisted of sake, beer and wine, along with flight options of wine and sake that pair with the Omakase menu. She let us sample two of them (generous pours) before we made our choice. If you're on the fence between a bottle or by the glass, highly recommend the bottle -- we ended up drinking more than we planned to since it went down so smoothly, and also, this 17-course meal calls for more than a couple glasses of sake. The vibe of this place was really friendly and approachable, moreso than other Omakase experiences I've had in the city. We started out with an appetizer featuring snowcrab and seaweed served with sesame oil, mirin, soy sauce and Dashi broth which was simple but refreshing. Our waitress supplied us with ample ginger throughout the experience to keep our palate cleansed as we moved through each course. As other people have mentioned, this isn't the most inventive or even fancy Omakase, so if you're here hoping for truffle, caviar, foie gras toppings or things set on fire and smoked, you might be a bit let down. But every piece of this sushi was fresh, melt in your mouth, and well seasoned. I actually appreciated being able to really taste and appreciate the fish rather than have the flavor be masked by overpowering ingredients. Courses ranged from different types of premium tuna to scallops, shrimp, snapper, mackerel, sea bream, tile fish, and fluke. My favorite was the wagyu and uni hand roll, which was delicious. Our sushi chef even gave us an uni "bump" to eat off our hands like caviar, which was amazing. I love uni so much. Highly, highly recommend this place if you're in town during summer. Super memorable dining experience, we even made friends. I'll be back next year!

Yelp
Seasonal Omakase set in a speakeasy setting behind Sydney's Best sushi in all of the hamptons The chef is one of the most talented sushi chefs you will ever meet and the staff was extremely hospitable. Only 8 seats so book in advance. It's a Broadway show basically so be on time

Yelp
The best Sushi experience on Long Island hands down. Food is beyond excellent. Staff, courteous, professional and very respectful. They create the perfect environment. I can't wait to go again.

Yelp
Josh was incredible ! Such great customer service . He is so wonderful at communicating and updating us on our reservation and making us feel welcome. Wow. I must say after being in the industry in the Hamptons for 10+ years I understand what it takes to make a memorable dining experience and he went above and beyond. The quality of sushi is incredible and perfectly seasoned. I have had omakases anywhere from Watermill to Chelsea market to Manhattan Michelin start restaurants and this place was right on par if not above the standards of those places. I look forward to returning with friends and family and becoming a regular. I could not recommend this anymore, although I'll be sad to see how tough it is to get reservations once people find out about this hidden gem, I must give credit where credit is due. Hats off to you guys at TSS!

Yelp
Ruined our 4th of July. Told us we won a sushi dinner, so we cancelled our other reservations and headed in. Then they told us they didn't know we were confirmed (even though we were texting with the manager who told us we had "won") and that they had given away our reservation and would "try to fit us in" an hour later. They didn't. The whole thing felt like a scam. When I explained the issue to the manager Josh who had been texting with me, he barely apologized and said he "wished there was something he could do" with the least sincerity I've ever heard. The whole experience was so frustrating, and a bit humiliating as I was hosting a filmmaker from Sweden on his last night in the US. Way to make Sydney's, Westhampton, and the US leave a sucky impression on 4th of July. Next time you screw up, own it and try to make it right, especially with a local who has been a loyal patron of Sydney's for years. The four couples I was meeting there who witnessed the whole messed up thing were appalled as well. So lame.

Yelp
I have eaten at Taylor's Sushi Suite three times. The first two times were ok but third time was downright horrible on every level. This is an omakase experience with only ten seats. We ate there twice in the summer of 2023 and were underwhelmed but because of who is behind it, we decided to give it another shot. All four of us feel the same way: First, the food itself is boring. They have put out together a selection of fish that all taste almost the same. There is nothing interesting and everything is neutral. The selection of fish is so boring that if you had a blindfold on, you wouldn't be able to distinguish between the fish. They over-salt each individual piece ,,,hoping to bring out some flavor but nothing is an "aha" moment. No inspiration, no combination of ingredients that surprises and delights. Secondly, all of the fish is pre-sliced sitting on the counter for some time and has no character. They put the rice on the each piece just before service, add salt and brush each one with some sauce. The food is flavorless. There is nothing memorable. The fish should be sliced as the courses are put out. Is it better than gas station sushi? I wouldn't know...but an experience you talk about and tell people about....yes...in negative terms. This is forgettable. Second, the chef does not really interact with the customers. The service people dutifully refresh the ginger and water. They ask if you want a drink such as sake or beer or overpriced sparkling water. But, the chef himself does not ingratiate himself to his customers in any way. Again, boring. Plus, the clean up area behind the bar was being used while we were eating and they were unloading the dishwasher. That's not the atmosphere i want when I am paying top dollar! The price is insane. First, I object to a 20% tip being automatically added to the bill when you prepay....That is insulting. I had a $14 beer and my wife had a $50 flight of three sakes which were ok. The total bill was over $440 for two and I was hungry afterwards. I'm not a big guy. They did have ala carte items on the board which you pay extra for....I guess that's where they sell the good fish. This is a pedestrian experience with an ultra premium price. David Bouhadana who inspired this place would be ashamed. i know him very well and have sat at the counter with him at Sunset Sushi as he held court. He would be horrified that this is connected to him in any way. If you want the best sushi in the Hamptons, go to Sushi 1 in Westhampton. This is owned by a Japanese family for more than 20 years and the food is sensational. They make traditional Japanese dishes and sushi and charge a reasonable price. Even if you went crazy on what they serve, you'd be hard pressed to spend more than $250 including tip....and that's for ingredients that they take great price in...like the rice they use. A typical dinner there with all the trimmings is $150. Anybody who says any different about Taylor's doesn't know their sushi. Sushi is about the rice, the fish, the temperature and the any seasoning..,,,this place is about rippng off the summer crowd and convincing them that it's gold...it's fool's gold and not worth your time...if the fish was notable or extraordinary....then I would not have reviewed....but this place is an insult.....

Yelp
Far and away the best omakase experience in the Hamptons Perfect 8 seats seems like you are dining at home. Service is above and beyond the norm Bravo!

Yelp
My hubby's first Omakase. I experienced it in nyc a few months ago so I did have something to compare it to. The ingredients were fresh and chilled perfectly. It was delicious but not as creative as what I expected. The concept tried to mimic a speakeasy with a secret code to enter, but didn't follow through. The dining room was coastal beachy vibe and comfortable. Sake and wine flights accompanied our meal nicely. Very pricey for pieces that were small in size. Attentive staff.

Yelp
Perfect venue for a perfect Omakase spot in a great spot! Food and service is beyond amazing! Serious beach house vibes! Great little exclusive Omakase experience right here in Westhampton with fresh seasonal fish flown in from Japan! Your date will be very impressed! ***ASK ABOUT THE "Big Mac" one bite challenge!

Yelp
This sushi dine out experience was pretty fantastic. Such a great offering to West Hampton Beach! Being a sushi connoisseur spending months in Japan, I can honestly say the food was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. Really fresh tasting nigiris, with perfectly seasoned rice and right ratio to accompany the fish. Honcho, the sushi chef was fantastic at his craft. It was an intimate gathering, having a 10 person seating with the chef as he explained what each course was. The staff was inviting and knowledgable of their drink list. Interior is small with summer beach house vibes, feeling like I was at friends place to crash! Great for a night out with your besties. My only minor gripe is I wish they would use fresh grated wasabi you get at high end restaurants. That aside, I feel like you will get your time and moneys worth.

Yelp

Yelp
The 90 minute, 17 course omakase experience at Taylor's Sushi Suite by Sydney's is fun and fabulous. I was there last night with my son and we had a blast. After receiving a riddle by email and solving it at the locked front door the host buzzed us in. The small brightly decorated space (only 8 counter seats) buzzed with anticipation. The sushi was excellent. The 17 course extravaganza culminated in a piece of Japanese A% Waygu beef flamed with a torch and covered with caviar and shaved truffles. There was nothing to bite, it just melted in your mouth. The hosts are charming and delightful. The chef was skilled and accommodating providing information and answering questions. A complimentary glass f sake is provided but I recommend accompanying your meal with a flight of three sakes. Best recommendation I can make is to gather 7 sushi loving friends to join you and reserve the entire place. You'll have an amazing time.

Yelp
This place is amazing, such a chill experience, with the highest quality sushi. You'd need to go to Japan to beat this place!
