Seafood is fresh and tasty. I like their cheese crab dish, it’s interesting! Quite expensive for restaurants in Sai Gon.

In the vibrant heart of Ho Chi Minh City lies a hidden gem that captivates at first glance and delights with every bite: Sushi Hokkaido Sachi. This restaurant is more than just a culinary destination—it’s a refined sensory journey to Japan, where every detail whispers sophistication. The interiors are a zen masterpiece: immaculate tatami floors, woven bamboo lanterns, finely carved wooden panels, and a serene rock and sand garden that invites peaceful reflection. The atmosphere is intimate yet polished—perfect for a relaxed yet stylish dining experience. And the cuisine? Simply outstanding. The fish is incredibly fresh, the flavors are subtle yet deep, and each dish is plated like a piece of art. Service is discreet, attentive, and always with a smile. A special highlight: the private tatami rooms, which make you feel like you’ve stepped into an exclusive ryōtei in Kyoto. Highly recommended for those seeking elegance, authenticity, and a touch of Japanese magic in the heart of Saigon. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars, no doubt. A must-visit for lovers of fine Japanese cuisine and chic oriental design.

Delicious food and drinks, huge menu with so many options and very good price. I enjoyed my peach lemongrass ice tea, the tempura roles and gyoza for 300,000. Staff were very sweet. Beautiful restaurant with a nice area to sit and watch the chefs prepare the food.

Sushi Hokkaido Sachi NDC is on the main road, easy to find, and quickly accessible from District 1 and nearby areas. The restaurant offers motorbike parking in front and provides support for car parking nearby. The interior is designed in a Japanese style, clean and tidy, with wooden details, warm lighting, and neatly arranged seating suitable for families, groups, or business dining. The menu includes sushi, sashimi, Ika Somen (squid noodles), wagyu beef, Japanese hot pots, and desserts. Seafood is imported from Hokkaido, with popular choices including assorted sashimi, special sashimi, and live squid prepared on site. Dishes most frequently recommended by guests include Zuwai Kani Miso Yaki (grilled snow crab with miso), salmon sashimi, boat sashimi, grilled salmon rolls, and grilled scallops with cheese. Prices range from 150,000 to 500,000 VND per dish. The food is presented to Japanese restaurant standards, with sashimi often noted for its freshness and proper temperature control. Serving time depends on customer volume, but is generally under 15 minutes per dish.

Sushi Hokkaido is well known for their freshness, great quality of seafoods that you cannot find else where. Friendly waitresses, very helpful and quick service👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 1 customer sitting next to me were quite noisy, the supervisor came and excused to us to calm us down 👏 Highly recommended!

I spent ~800K for 2 lunch sets but it was huge and complete meal. Taste wise, the one with unagi is fantastic. Another one with salmon was ok, the grilled salmon was bland and came with no sauce. However, the sashimi included on salmon package was satisfying!

Very disappointing experience. I specifically asked for a drink without ice because I have a sore throat — while they did respect that, this is what I got: a half-filled glass (photo attached). For the price, I expected at least a full portion. The food was nothing special — quite average, and not worth the price at all. The service was also poor. We had to wait a long time, no one checked on us during the meal, and when we wanted to pay, we had to go look for staff ourselves. Even then, they didn’t bring the bill promptly. Wouldn’t recommend it, and I won’t be coming back.
