The restaurant is located right on Pham Viet Chanh Street, but it can be a bit tricky to spot at first. With its cozy, homey vibe, it looks more like a house than a restaurant from the outside. Fortunately, a Japanese gentleman stood at the entrance to welcome guests, so we didn’t get lost — and I’m sure we won’t confuse it with another place next time.
My family visited on a Saturday evening, and the restaurant was quite busy. You’ll need to make a reservation in advance if you want to sit at the counter. The space is small but warm and inviting, with a traditional Japanese ambiance. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to serve.
The food was fresh and beautifully presented. The sushi rolls were tightly wrapped, the fish was rich and clean in flavor. The sashimi was cut thick, allowing you to really appreciate its freshness. The grilled fish — a new addition to the menu — left a strong impression on me. The flesh was tender and moist, while the skin was perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. Definitely worth a try.
The sake selection is varied, and prices are mid-range — slightly on the higher side but fair for the quality. It's a great spot for a relaxed date night or a cozy family dinner.

A small, charming Japanese restaurant with consistently good food. A must-try if you're a fan of sushi and sashimi, and looking for a homey dining experience in the heart of Saigon.
