We came later at night and the food was great. They let you order at the table from a tablet so you can take your time looking if you don’t speak Italian. The fried rice was so good with a good mix of veggies. The sushi was average. Overall we really enjoyed eating here!

I highly recommend Sushi Stone. This is my fourth or fifth time visiting Matera and I have eaten at four or five different sushi restaurants in that time and this is by far my new favorite. They offer all you can eat for lunch and dinner as well as à la carte. I always choose à la carte. Today my server was amazing. Not speaking Italian I needed a lot of help and he was great. He probably came to my table ten times in the hour I spent there and never made me feel like a nuisance. I enjoyed a shrimp tempura roll and gyoza. I also ordered dishes to take back home and everything was delicious. All of my special requests were honored and they did not up charge me for anything. The restaurant is super convenient, right behind the Palumbaro, beautiful, and the prices are very reasonable in spite of being n the middle of tourists. This will be my go to place for sushi and Chinese in the future.

Portions are rather small, but food is SO DELICIOUS! For the dinner we paid 25.90 per person plus coperta and 2 glasses of prosecco (4.50 euro each glass) it total something about 63 euro. For such quantity and quality of food isn't absolutely expensive, and service was very fast.
Price all-you can-eat for lunch is 19.90, for dinner 25.90 per person (dinner since 19.30 o'clock). An amazing place for Japanese food lovers!

As an experienced sushi eater I would say that the food could be rated around 4,5. However toilets were clean, stuff were kind, service was fast and prices were fair so overall rating is definitely 5,0. :)

Decent sushi close to the old town Matera. Good value for money, offering all-you-can-eat for around €25 per person. The quality is as expected for the price, not bad with a wide variety of options. A great option if you are looking for a break from Italian food.

Really amazing sushi! Very fresh and beautifully presented, and a great selection of dishes too. The price for all you can eat was great value, plus the bottles of wine are very affordable too. I would eat here again and again if i lived in the area.

Perfectly serviceable but, also pretty meh. If you’re comparing to the average sushi restaurant you might be used to, this is a step down, but if you’re needing a break from Italian food, the staff was nice and this will get the job done.
