I recently visited a cozy sushi restaurant that offers a great vibe. While the sushi isn't the absolute best I've had, it's certainly tasty and fresh. Pairing it with a glass of Merlot (we took Martin Pasler's "Asai" ) creates a delightful contrast. The staff made the experience enjoyable with their warm service, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, it's a solid choice for fresh sushi in a welcoming atmosphere.

Great place! Sushi is delicious and very fresh tasting. Love the sauces which are not overwhelming and the fish taste always stands out. You can see yourself how they prepare it and it is so satisfying. The staff seems to be in such harmony and quite happy. The cocktails drinks are incredibly good and quite strong if I may say. Plenty of sitting options.

We recently dined at Sushi+Soul, and it was an exceptional experience. The sushi was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared, each bite bursting with flavor. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the staff was attentive and friendly. From the creative rolls to the delightful atmosphere, Sushi+Soul has truly captured the essence of a a good sushi dining experience. Highly recommended!

I am a regular customer at the best sushi restaurant in Europe. Reasons are, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent food and outstanding explicit selection of Japanese whisky bottles. Second largest in the world! The atmosphere is inviting and you do spend hours at this venue. Prices are good, extremely good related to the rarity of Japanese whisky. I been travelling the globe on regular basis for the last 36 years and this is a place I visit every time I come to Munich. Highly recommended and I will be back next year.

Amazingly polite and nice service, cozy atmosphere, delicious drinks and sushi. I was lucky to get a sit at a table next to the sushi chefs and enjoy their work process. Such satisfying to watch:) Thank you! ❤️☺️

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. The flavors of the sushi were impressive, offering a diverse and tasty selection. The ambiance created a pleasant dining experience, and the staff provided attentive service. While there's room for improvement in certain areas, overall, it's a commendable choice for sushi enthusiasts seeking a satisfying dining experience.

The place is very good but the sushi is really smelly and the tuna was almost dark color. I am not sure whether I smell it very bad because I usually eat fresh sushi in my country. If you are from the country where can get fresh seafood, you will feel the same.

I have been many times in Sushi and Soul. They have quite good sushi, I always order the Lachs inside out rolls. my favourite starters are a salad with tuna and a mixed starter for 2. Although it has become more expensive in the last year but I still enjoy the food and atmosphere here very much. Service is mostly really good and attentive.

Yelp
Five of us went for dinner here and enjoyed it. It's a fairly big place well lit and it's a modern take on Japanese with a nice Asian oriented cocktail list, a nice sake list and a wall full of Japanese single malts. It is fairly noisy when full and we had a lovely table in the corner and our waiter was also excellent. We ordered some starters like endamame, agdashi tofu, gomae and wakame. All really nice and packed with flavour. The sushi here is good but some of it I could happily do without. The salmon sashimi was the best thing here and I loved it. Also the tempura was very good. Service is good and our waiter was very patient despite the restaurant being full. He also spoke good English for our guests. We had a lovely evening and I would happily come here again. Prices are not over the top and value for money is quite ok. It's a nice place to spend an evening with decent Japanese food and a huge selection of drinks both alcoholic and non.

Yelp
The place to be when you crave for Sushi in Munich! Dont fall for all those cheap Sushi running bars that you find across the city center - most of them are really not good and some of them not even clean. If you wanna eat good Sushi in a nice atmosphere try out this restaurant: Very cosy in the heart of the very hip Glockenbachviertel, and one of the rare ones that serve Tempura in Munich! Not the cheapest one, but definitely worth it!

Yelp
So I am a relatively recent convert to Sushi I have to say! And I went to check out Sushi & Soul based on so many good reviews from my friends. I've been there twice now and the best this I can think of to say about it is that it's OK. The food is OK and the service was OK. We had the Tempura as a starter which was actually pretty nice - the sauce it came with was delicious! Then we ordered three different types of sushi to share and they were all basically OK. The one I would recommend if you're going is the Green Philadelphia inside-out maki - it's with green asparagus and cream cheese and it was the best of the three (the other two we had was spicy tuna rolls and yakitori maki - which is cooked chicken sushi). As I said, the sushi were all ok - BUT watch out for the soy sauce they give you because it's SO salty it will effectively ruin anything you dip in it!! Oh I haven't said anything about the wine yet - we drank probably the worst Sauvignon Blanc I have ever tasted in my life! It was so sickly sweet it was pretty close to undrinkable - I guess unless you like sweet wines - then this one's for you :) They do have a good choice of different kinds of sushi but - for the cost - I would say it's not really worth it!

Yelp
If you are looking for a good atmosphere and want to watch people then this is the restaurant to go to, but if you want to eat good Japanese food, then I would have to say don't do it. That is not to say it is bad, but I just found all the dishes I tried to be boring in taste. They had a really good Japanese chef a few years back, but he decided to leave and now runs another japanese place in central Munich. When he was asked how he found working in this restaurant he replied it was like I was cooking french fries all the time. It summed up my experience.

Yelp
To me the reason why S&S is always full has always been a mystery to me. Sushi is bad, the other Japanese specialties are bad, decor is tasteless AND prices are HIGH. Avoid.

Yelp
Giving this place 3 stars- which I think is high for the quality- only because of the awesome ambiance. Super fun place and good crowd- but that's about it. The sashimi was expensive and horrible! It was 12 euro for 4 tiny pieces of tuna sashimi- and the quality was terrible- I've never had tuna that didn't taste fresh prior to this. The service was also extremely slow. Never come here for good sashimi or quick service. Might come back for a drink before a night out though.

Yelp
This review is for the bar only. We stumbled upon Sushi & Soul after dinner and decided to stop in for a drink. What a great find! They've got a comprehensive selection of various types of sake, Japanese whiskey, and various other spirits. We didn't try any food here, so I can't comment on that. But the people there seemed to be enjoying their food. The ambiance also felt pretty cool; somewhere between trendy, romantic, and chill. My only knock on this place would be the price, which is quite steep. For two of us, we spent around €100 for a bottle of sake (€50) and a couple of whiskeys (€25 each).

Yelp
Location is awesome but you pay the price. Food is very good but you pay the price. Staff is always around and very helpful/friendly. Had a great night with friends there.

Yelp
The Ambiance is great but the sushi is just average and very over priced. They need better variety of their Maki.

Yelp
If you are craving good fish and sushi, this is NOT the place to go. The mixed starter with seared ahi looked SO good on the menu picture, but when we got the dish it was hard to even find a piece of tuna amonst all the salad they had put with it (no salad was even shown on the menu pic!). The dragon role was very generous on the avocado, but there was scarcely any fish. The stinginess on fish coupled with the poor service was only redeemed by the great interior and vibe. Not a bad place for grabbing a drink with a group of friends.
