We had an amazing tour. Scott was an amazing guide, he was so knowledgeable about wines and the entire region. The Mercedes van was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The setting of the wineries and producer were intimate. We have been on other wine tours in Santa Barbara and they were so much less personable compared to Sustainable Wine Tours. Thank you, Scott!!!!

I cant even put into words how special this tour was. Intimate! Super private on wineries that are exclusive to Scott's tours only! We were the only people at vineyards that were not open to the public. Scott stops for tarantula and rest stops! I cant thank you enough for today. What a special day. The guides at the wineries were engaging, were interested in us (and the housewives), incredibly knowledgeable, and friendly. Seriously, look no further for a tour! This is it!!

My girlfriend and I took the tour in September. I’m a wine tours novice but she had been on a lot of wine tours before and she said this is the best wine tour she’s been on. The hardest part was deciding which wines we wanted because almost all of them were delicious. Scott was an amazing guide who explained the history of the region and why specific varietals grew better in specific areas. He also kept us very hydrated and well fed. Lunch was delicious as well. He picked us up at our hotel and dropped us back off at the end of the day. We highly recommend Sustainable Wine Tours if you’re in the area. The hardest decision will be which wines you want to take home.

The day started with Scott being so communicative about the pickup time, which was so appreciated and the start of an amazing day with a group of 6 total people that quickly became friends. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area and not having been to any central coast vineyards, my girlfriend and I were excited to try some places, and Scott (and sustainable wine tours) did not disappoint! We started the day at Grimm Bluffs, which was a gorgeous site and the wines (emphasis on cabs) and service were just as good! Could have spent the entire day here. Next was Alma Rosa, which a friend had also suggested to us so we were we excited to go here. And not just the tasting room in Solvang, but the actual vineyard. Their selection of Chardonnays and Pinot noirs were fantastic, and I’m not a huge fan of Pinot noirs. And the service was also first class! The lunch he provided was also delicious and filling. Last was Barbieri & Kempe, where we had a tasting with master sommelier Paolo Barbieri which was such an amazing and fun experience. His knowledge and wines were second to none and we felt so lucky to had such a personal experience with him. I definitely see us coming back for tours with Scott and sustainable wine tours, bringing others with us, and recommending to others!

I was planning my husband’s 45th birthday trip and wanted something special. As I was doing research I saw that Scott offers tours and places that are off the beaten path which is what I wanted. What I didn’t expect was to get to meet winemakers and have tastings privately at these gorgeous estates. Scott was a fantastic guide and made the whole booking process seamless and we certainly got more than we bargained for. Not only did we get to talk to the winemakers but we got to watch them making the wine, shoveling the grapes into the press and then pouring it into the barrels. It was a wine of a kind experience. Scott was so personable and knowledgeable and I felt really catered the tour to our tastes and interests in wine making. I cannot recommend this enough. It is well worth the money and you will have a truly wonderful and memorable experience.

Scott is great! It started off with him picking us up from our hotel in Santa Barbara in a Mercedes 8 passenger van. The seats are so comfortable and roomy, and you can put the bottles of wine you buy at the wineries underneath your seats, much like on an airplane. He’ll pick up lunch for everyone at a local place - my salad was so fresh and tasty that I finished it all which normally I don’t do with salads. He’ll give you great history lesson lessons about the wines in the area. It’s very knowledgeable about the vocals. He chooses fantastic, small wineries that you might not think of but are amazing because you cannot find the wines at retail stores. Bonus: He’ll even pick up a tarantula for you that he’ll find in the middle of the road.

Scott curated a beautiful experience for us! It was a gorgeous private tour. We were picked up in a luxury vehicle and driven to three incredible wineries. The first…wow..a beautiful dairy farm upcycled to a rustic contemporary vineyard. The second…under oak trees with a FEMALE Bosnian wine maker…hell yeah. The third was 🫶🏽 owned by a husband and wife with the sweetest story. So grateful to have experienced this. ♥️♥️

We had an amazing bespoke experience. Scott Bull took us to direct tastings with family winemakers. We met the owners and winemakers who he has long term relationships with. Unlike any wine tasting experience we have ever had. He shared a killer play list as we went from winery to winery and we had so much fun. This was recommended by friends and we in turn will recommend it to everyone we know. You visit private wineries not necessarily open to the booking. So unique ! Do it soon !
