Sutter Pub & Restaurant

Came here for lunch and we got lucky to find seating for three. The staff were very kind when serving and placing our orders it’s a pretty small pub with I think four booth and some table tables. There is some outdoor seating. The menu has a wide selection, which is really nice and we started off with an appetizer of wings. These were very good and piping hot when they came to us. I got the Sunnyside burger at medium rare. It was definitely cooked more like rare, which is not how I like it but we were in a rush so I didn’t wanna bother waiting to get it redone. I just kinda eat around it. The fries were really yummy. The Reuben was very good. There was no leftovers of it. The fish and chips are also very good and all their food were hot when they were brought out. The portion sizes are very good and the only thing we had left was a piece of fish and one wing Also reasonably priced and we were full even a little bit past dinner. I’ll definitely come here good to try other things off their menu. I’ll just be more insistent on making the burger, medium rare and not rare

It’s a pretty tight fit inside. Had to wait for longer than expected for our drinks. Bangers and mash were great, but the fish and chips lacked flavor in the fish. Not terrible, but not a standout compared to other pubs in the area

Sorry the Fish and Chips were not very good at all. I hope it was an off day. But that day was so off I would not order that again with the limited time I had visiting 😐. I did buy my coworker his first Guinness and perfect pour thank you bartender now he is hooked. The bar is awesome the glowing suit of armor just lit up carrying the ambiance higher. We went after 10pm, so there was no wait, got a table right away, food came out quick. Friendly server, food tastes delicious.

Find British Pub in the better part of downtown SF. It's cozy place, big bar, decent seating. Good collection of beer, local and foreign. Food is very decent, was not crowded for Thursday evening. We got seated right away. Parking can be a challenge as it's SF, not a must visit, but definitely yes if you are in the neighborhood!

Good pub food. Quality was consistent. We were a large group and had service fee automatically added which is fine with me as long as you are aware. Service was friendly and good. Zero mistakes with a large / custom order. Didn't wait long to get drinks and food.

Stopped by twice in the past week. They have around five beers on tap, mostly craft. The craft beers are high quality like Sculpin IPA, and the Elysian Space Dust IPA. They also have several European and other American beers in bottles or cans. Had the New York steak sandwich once, and bacon burger the next time. Both were tasty. Burger was cooked medium rare, as asked. Strong recommendation if you're in the area and want good pub food with a good beer selection.

We had a nice evening. We had the fish and chips and the impossible patty melt. They were both delicious and good portions. Our server was nice and friendly. Great place to have a drink and a bite to eat.
