Sutton Place Hotel Toronto

We just spent a night at this fabulous hotel. I took a chance on this hotel through a travel discount website and I am so glad that I did! Pleasantly surprised with how well appointed the rooms were. Nice high ceilings, well appointed fixtures and decor, service and professionalism top notch from their fron desk to their valet staff! Beautiful high end toiletries, loofah pads and all the small details taken care of to really make you feel very welcomed and invited. I will certainly be staying here again for my future trips to Toronto!

Our stay at the Sutton Place had been amazing, we will definitely come back whenever we need to stay in Toronto. The location is great, within walking distance to everything. Room is nice with quality furnishings, and toiletries offered are L'Occitaine. Gym is also good for hotel a gym. Best of all is the service! I just casually mentioned it was my bday, and after dinner I came back to complimentary dessert with a card in my room.

We had a great experience at this hotel. It’s in the perfect location and we loved that you can walk anywhere from here. The room was perfect from the nice toiletries to the bathrobes, and the nespresso machine in the room. This hotel is clean and well maintained. The only thing I would recommend is a professional cleaning of the carpets in the rooms to remove stains. We also had breakfast at the downstairs restaurant. The coffee was actually really good and the food was delicious. The evening before we were looking for Asian food recommendations and the restaurant manager kindly recommended some really good places that we tried out. We were super impressed by all the staff. They are professional, super friendly and accommodating and don’t have a snobby attitude that you would find at some higher end hotels. The staff and their amazing service and personalities shine through. We had a great stay and wish we booked longer.

The service was exceptional! What a gorgeous spot with very spacious rooms. But the real gem was the staff. From the second we walked in the door on November 9, we were greeted with the warmest and most accommodating staff I’ve ever had. I travel a lot and have never felt so welcome. This will be my new go to hotel when visiting Toronto and other locations where this hotel exists. It truly was a pleasure staying here. The hotel was clean, beautiful and the size of the rooms were very generous for a hotel in a large city. The branding and aesthetic were on point. Valet was SO easy and quick. Highly recommend. The manager of this hotel should be incredibly proud of their employees.

My expectations were really high after reading all the reviews, but overall I'd rate my experience of staying here for 6 nights for work a 3.5. What's good: Comfortable, spacious rooms, location with street car (tram) stop right outside. Beds are comfortable and rooms are individually heated which is helpful in winter. The cleaning was decent, some dust on ledges. What wasn't so good: the restaurant. It's acting like it's completely independent of the hotel and doesn't prioritise guests at all. Breakfast is not included and it's in no way a 'normal' hotel breakfast. It is overpriced and pretentious (see photo of menu), with no options for someone who just wants a simple breakfast before a day's work. There are hardly any vegetarian options, and nothing vegan. Everything is unnecessarily complicated. Just do a 25 or 20 dollar breakfast buffet on week days at least and you'd make way more from hotel guests and it would be easier for your staff. As it was, I had to get breakfast out almost every day. So inconvenient. There is also no room service from the restaurant, which business travellers appreciate. I didn't eat any other meals here either. I didn't have a great check in experience, the member of staff was from a sister hotel because it was the staff party so I can't rate him badly but it meant he gave me the wrong card holder with QR info about a different hotel and the wrong WiFi information. Rest of staff were fine but I can't say I had the great experience of other guests.

Sublimely Sutton! This is going to be my go to hotel when I stay in Toronto. From the moment I arrived and through the time I had to bid farewell the stay here exceeded my expectation. The room was spacious, clean and with a comfortable bed where I slept like a baby. It was fantastic place to work remotely as I was able to go to some fabulous restaurants and explore the city very easily at night as the tram stops right outside of the hotel. Special thanks to D’Andre, Jerwin, and the rest of the team for being some friendly, welcoming, professional and always being so wonderful. It was hard to leave, but I look forward to returning back again next year. If you’re debating whether to stay here or not…I’ll make it easy for you. Stay here!!!

This hotel is, as our review title says, simply devine. The attention to detail is superb. The toiletries, in-room lighting, corridor lighting, fragrant smell throughout the hotel, room decor, fining room decor, and lobby design all add to the feeling that the designer knew what they were doing.||The breakfast and dinner menus both offer alternative twists on the standard fare. Madi, in the breakfast room, was very attentive and friendly, as was the entire dinner staff who took time to explain the options and keep your glasses full. All of the food was exquisite. ||There are so many surprises and delights it's hard to list them all and you need to discover them yourselves. ||The hotel is in a great location for all of the major attractions, making them easily walkable.||Our room was very large, and wasn't one of the premium rooms. The shower was massive and had a wonderful rainhead together with a separate wand. The room had lots of storage, which isn't that common in hotels nowadays. ||We can't wait to go back next time we're in Toronto.

Stayed here in the summer. It was the perfect location for what we needed. Valet parking was great. Rooms were big and comfy. Pool was nice and clean. Hotel was in tip-top shape.

Beautiful space, amazing rooms. Fantastic amenities, the pool is gorgeous. Working with the sales team, especially Marshall and Wendy, was a dream. Highly recommend for corporate events, they were great!

Stayed here for the caribana weekend. Had some challenges finding it initially as I walked from the train station but the staff was polite and I got checked in quickly. Room was nice and spacious with all the amenities I like. The room was far from the elevator but I didn't have to wait long for it. You could hear some street noise but not so much that it disturbed my sleeping. The fire alarm is loud but other than that false alarm, my stay was pleasant.

The front desk associates were very attentive. They provided recommendations of things to do based on the activities going on that weekend. They were super nice and offered us drinks in the morning even if we were heading out. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Very clean. The pool was an indoor pool and they had lounge chairs around the pool to hang out in. It was a very nice pool. They also had valet parking. Overall, we had a great stay at this hotel. Anything that we needed they provided to us within a reasonable timeframe. It was close enough to all the activities without putting us in the middle of everything. This hotel is located in an area that has construction and doesn't automatically pull up on the gps but it pulls up the condos right next to it. I would def come back and stay at this hotel again.

Every aspect of our stay was amazing! Was upgraded to an awesome room. Front desk was so helpful with everything! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Clean spacious with the most polite and helpful staff . Quiet cafe on property but closes earlier than stated. Staff is there for 24 hours, rooms are quiet and you can barely hear anything on the busy streets. Modern clean rooms with comfortable beds. Nespresso machine and fridge in the room.

Stayed downtown for one night before we had to head out for a tournament. Great hotel - new , modern and an unbelievable location downtown. Excellent front deck staff. Rooms really beautiful and spacious. Quiet with all amenities you would expect. Valet the next morning was terrific - packed our car better than we could and filled us up with waters before we headed out. Great option if staying downtown - will definitely be coming back

Beautiful, clean hotel in fabulous location downtown Toronto. Booking was easy, staff was efficient, friendly, attentive and very professional. Very very pleased with my stay, I hope to make it my regular place to stay whenever I visit the city.
