Suuapinga - Specialty Coffee

Google
As always, a solid 5 stars for Suuapinga. The stunning architecture around the coffee shop adds a special vibe to the experience. There are a couple of chairs outside, but since it often gets crowded, a bench would make it even better. Concerning the coffee, I’m always impressed. The quality is consistently high. I especially love the orange-peel twist in the cold brew, which I found a refreshing detail.

The concept behind this specialty coffee shop is genuinely promising—quality beans, a modern minimalist aesthetic, and a focus on artisanal brewing. Unfortunately, the execution falls short where it matters most: hospitality. The staff seem entirely untrained in basic customer service. There’s a cold, almost indifferent vibe that makes the space feel unwelcoming. The coffee itself? Solid. You can tell care has gone into sourcing and brewing. But great coffee alone isn’t enough to carry the experience, especially when you’re paying premium prices. And at these price points, it’s not unreasonable to expect somewhere to sit—or at the very least, not feel like you have to balance on one leg while drinking. Bottom line: A good idea, undone by poor execution, lack of warmth.

As a lover of specialty coffee, this place was hands-down the highlight of my trip to Munich. Their batch brew was smooth and balanced, and the cappuccino hit the spot - but the real star for me was the cortado. It was full of flavor, beautifully balanced, and just so easy to drink - the kind of cup that quite literally melts on your tongue. If I had to describe a cortado as charming, this would be the one. A must-visit for any coffee enthusiast. Can’t wait to come back!

One of the best specialty coffee places. Highly recommend if you are looking for quality coffee. They also have a few but really good pastries to enjoy with your coffee - we tried the croissant and cinnamon bun and both were delicious. Very nice atmosphere and aesthetics, a more modern and minimalistic approach that fits the neighbourhood, the staff was friendly too.

Small bakery with scandinavian vibes. We tried the cinnamon rolls and cardamom bun. The cinnamon one was really tasty and fragrant, just wish it could be a bit warmer. Staff is nice and put a lot effort to make beautiful latte.

Have been twice and really enjoyed it both times. Very minimal indoor seating, so a day with good weather is perfect for grabbing a coffee and enjoying their outdoor seating.

Incredible coffee. I’ve had a cold brew tonic (the have only simple cold brew in the menu, which is also incredible - they add an orange peel which adds to the taste) The cold brew tonic was sparkling as it should be and tasteful. The can give you in separate bottles. It isn’t that cheap this option, the cold brew tonic was 8€

A nice little shop. Coffee quality is about a 4.5 and atmosphere is around a 4.6. Service is a 4.7.
