Suwaidi Pearls

A fascinating tour and highly recommended - really great way of learning about pearls and their production in a unique setting. Our guide was welcoming and informative and the service was great - we visited in August and the weather was scorching but we were kept well hydrated! They do have pearls and jewellery for sale, but there is no hard sell, which is commendable!

The welcome is excellent. The boat trip was magical and the team wonderful. They were kind to offer water, juice and snacks on the way to the farm. The tour was insightful and interactive. I visited Suwaidi Pearls yesterday afternoon and must say, I could not have a better investment into my time and emotions rather than this amazing tour. I was super lucky to join the group of 9 tourists and hop on the tour in just 15min after my arrival to the site. Out tour guide Zubaid showcased a high level of hospitality and conducted the tour in a way it was informative and educational to both adults and kids. I was impressed by how each minute of the tour was well-planned and organized, with offering a lot of refreshments, change of activities and allocation of time for questions and answers. Indeed, this is a great attraction and demonstration of RAK's legacy over decades. I am sure to be coming back with my friends.

I had a wonderful experience at House of Pearls by Suwaidi Pearls—everything was well-organized, from booking to the actual tour. Upon arrival, there was plenty of parking and a welcoming showroom featuring a beautiful collection of pearl jewelry, along with a cozy and thoughtfully designed waiting area that reflects their commitment to sustainability. The tour began with a 15-minute ride on a traditional boat through the mangroves, where we were treated to Arabic sweets, ice cream, and stunning views. Our destination was a floating building housing an interactive exhibition. The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing fascinating insights into the history of pearl diving and how oysters are cultivated. The highlight was, of course, the magical moment of opening an oyster and discovering a real pearl—it was truly unforgettable. Afterwards, the guide introduced us to their exquisite pearl collection. On the way back, we enjoyed fresh mango juice while watching the sunset over the water. The entire experience was incredibly pleasant and absolutely worth the price. I would definitely love to return for a second visit!

It is the perfect place to learn more about local culture and history. The guid was amazing, ideal balance between humor and details. The organization is also excellent. Also ther is tiny shop where you could but some jewelry

This has been one of the most beautiful experiences in UAE. A must visit to know the history and culture of pearl diving. Top notch hospitality!

Wonderful! Beautiful scenery while on a relaxing boat ride past grazing camels and pink flamingos out to the pearl farm in the ocean. Plenty of interesting information on pearl diving and cultivation. Bonus snacks and drinks along the way. Great service all around!

It is definitely not worth the price of the tour. The tour guide, though polite, clearly did not want to be there. Every question he asked felt rigid, uninspired, and lacking engagement. The atmosphere was awkward, and attendees seemed hesitant to ask questions or share their thoughts, likely sensing his disinterest. Instead of fostering curiosity or discussion, he simply went through the motions, making the experience feel more like a tedious obligation than an enjoyable or informative tour. It was evident that his priority was to finish the job rather than create a memorable experience for the group.
