Suzukake Shinjuku lsetan Store

Head to B1 floor of Isetan for this 90+ year old confectionary specialty store. There are an assortment of mochi and anko related products. Very delicious but keep in mind - many are meant to be eaten day of, and some like the manju are only good for one week. It is something to appreciate as it shows they are not using chemical additives to preserve foods. Applaud their philosophy « Mother Nature is our true teacher ». There will be a line in the evenings. If you come toward closing hours, don’t be surprised if many items are sold out already.

This place is located inside Isetan Shinjuku. There are always long queue. The japanese sweets dessert here taste good. Every sesaon they have new japanese sweet dessert.

Strawberry daifuku was soooooooo good. Should be there early to get your hands on one 🍓🍓🍓

Service is awful I understand we didn’t agree in advance to split the bill into two groups, but one male server displayed a very unpleasant attitude, showing clear disdain toward us. He didn’t even explain whether we could continue ordering or what we should do next. I don’t understand why you have to treat us this way—do you think you’re that superior? We’ve been nothing but polite from the start.

Strawberry daifuku was absolutely delicious!

いつも並んでいるけど、この日はサロンデュショコラの影響か列が短かったので並んで苺大福をゲットしました。20人弱で30分くらいの待ち時間だったかなぁ。 ここの苺大福が本当に一番美味しくて大好きです。 苺の甘さと、このあんこの瑞々しさ？と、うすーい牛皮のバランスが絶妙すぎて神です。 一個400円？！って思うけどその価値あります。 ケーキに比べたら全然安いしね。手土産に最高です。とにかくここの苺大福が大好きでみんなに知ってほしいけど、もっと気軽に買いたい気持ちもある。店舗増えるといいなぁ。

到鈴懸新宿伊勢丹店，最直接的感想就是「果然要排隊」。站在地下美食街裡，看著前面一個接一個結帳的人，會覺得這間店的人氣真的不是沒有原因。雖然需要等一下，但隊伍前進得算快，過程中也能慢慢看櫃檯裡整齊陳列的和菓子，心情反而變得平靜。 這次買了草莓大福，拿在手上就能感覺到它的新鮮。咬下去時，麻糬柔軟，草莓的酸甜很清楚，紅豆餡不會搶味，整體搭配得很舒服，吃完也不會覺得負擔。吃的時候會覺得這是一種很細緻、節制的甜。排隊本身已經成為體驗的一部分，吃到的味道也和等待的時間相互呼應。
