Excellent service and warm hospitality I had a very pleasant experience at Svenska Hotel, Andheri West, thanks largely to the exceptional staff. Sanjay was extremely courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. His professionalism and prompt support genuinely made the stay comfortable. A special mention to Vikash, the desk manager, who handled everything with great efficiency and calm. He was approachable, proactive, and ensured that all requests were taken care of smoothly. His management skills and guest-first attitude really stand out. Overall, the service was seamless and welcoming. Experiences like this make a big difference, and I would happily recommend the hotel based on the hospitality provided by Sanjay and Vikash.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my visit to Mumbai. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering great comfort after a long day. The staff were extremely polite, Specially Mr. Vikas was so Nice and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is perfect, close to the airport and major business areas, yet quiet enough to relax. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, and the food was fresh and tasty. I also appreciated the hotel’s attention to cleanliness and hygiene, which made my stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was an excellent experience with great value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mumbai — whether for business or leisure.

Bit of exaggeration to call it 5-star; it is bang on the roadside and difficult to spot. I would rate it 3 star at best. Receptionists need training; some appear to think that they are house detectives ("You will not have strangers in your room after 8 PM!"; "You have exceeded your allowance; come down and clear the extra charges!"). The corridors needed cleaning but the rooms are large and clean and the housekeeping staff are friendly and cooperative. 10% service charge is automatically added to your food bill (I thought it was illegal??). Convenience of being located near Ambani hospital and couple of large malls.

We had an amazing experience here specially at the lunch buffet. We arrived almost at the end time of the buffet but Chef Shyam and Munawwar were so kind they still served us with same energy and enthusiasm. The food was absolutely amazing, especially non vegetarian dishes.

I've been staying at the Svenska Design Hotel for several days now, and I like this hotel the best because the staff is so good. (Mr. Shumal) and the butler team always greet you with a smile, saying good evening and good morning, which is very nice. Their English is also good. The room is very clean, and the washroom is spotless. The room has all the necessary amenities, and the mini-bar is well-stocked with various items, from snacks to drinks.

Extremely disappointed with my stay at Svenska Hotel, Andheri West. This place is nowhere close to a 5-star experience and honestly not worth the cost. The management is unresponsive, and the staff behaves as if helping guests is optional. They even denied check-in until 3 PM without any valid reason, and throughout the stay we received zero support for basic needs. The receptionist’s attitude was careless and borderline rude, and the food quality was far below what the hotel claims. Overall, there is absolutely no sense of hospitality here — felt like I had to teach them how to treat guests. Definitely not recommended.

A certain amount of cash went missing during my stay at Svenska. When I raised the issue at the reception, the receptionist, Mr. Chetan, became defensive and aggressive. The amount of money that went missing does not make a difference to me, but Mr. Chetan’s actions do. The hospitality was zero, and most of the staff appears to be undertrained. The food was mediocre, and Mr. Chetan’s behavior has only made me believe that one of the housekeepers may have taken my cash.

recently stayed at this hotel with my daughter, and our experience was truly wonderful. The rooms were exceptionally spacious, providing plenty of comfort and relaxation during our stay. The staff was warm and courteous throughout, but a special mention goes to Afiya at the front desk. She greeted us with a genuine smile, made our check-in and check-out processes seamless, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and cared for.
