Margherita Maccapani Missoni’s Guide to Stockholm | Vogue

"Warm and whimsical, the “Greetings From Margherita” exhibition hosted at the flagship boutique bursts with color and pattern, celebrating spontaneity and the joy of hosting; inspired by a large garden picnic, it channels founder Estrid Ericson’s outside-the-box spirit and her love of picnics." - Joshua Glass

"The country’s most famous interior design store has been shaping Swedish tastes for decades (the founder, Estrid Ericsson, was an early proponent of all-white walls). Particularly popular are the fabulous fabrics designed by Austrian émigré Josef Frank. There’s also a tiny, but charming, tea shop on the upper floor."

"This century-old interiors shop is famous for Josef Frank textiles and finely crafted furniture and felt to us like a Swedish Bergdorf’s for interiors — if you have extra suitcase space and money, snag a few pillows or lampshades covered in Josef Frank fabric." - Coolstuff Team

A design lover’s dream – elegant, timeless, and full of inspiration. Svenskt Tenn is more than just a store — it’s a beautifully curated space that blends Swedish tradition with modern design. From the vibrant textiles to the classic furniture pieces and tableware, everything feels intentional and full of character. The staff were knowledgeable and very helpful, and walking through the shop felt like visiting a gallery. Highly recommend for anyone interested in interior design or looking for a unique, quality souvenir from Stockholm.

If you are interested in Nordic design, this is good place to be amazed by colors and designs. It is very obvious that the design store is high segment but taking a look inside may enriching your soul.

Beautiful even just to walk through and get good ideas for your own interior design possibilities. Was quite surprised at how extensive this store is and will likely come back if I even find myself in the city once more.

Way out of my league but I'm glad that the staff lets people take a look at their products. Really nice designer furniture, cloth, and other household items. Good atmosphere in this place.

Its one of the most beautiful decor stores we have ever seen in our lives! The beautiful colours and design they use here are one of the nicest combinations, you could ever think of! The store is big and the staff is very polite and friendly. I must say, even their toilets are beautiful!! You have to see this with your own eyes.

Yelp
A little bit upscale. A very nicely arranged store, with very helpful people. All my questions were answered thoroughly and with a smile, at three different times, from three different people in their respective departments. I bought a few items and I couldn't be more pleased.

Yelp
If you want to spend $500 on a very small lamp that would look quite at home at IKEA, then this is the place for you! Additionally, you can choose from some seriously dated table settings, perfect for when your grandparents of Roger Moore is visiting. The latter will also set you back a few months salary. Although I could financially afford the "goods", I can't afford the pity sure to be heaped on me by friends who do not live in Ostermalm. So I kept my wallet in my pocket. I give it three stars, because the staff are really kind. Bring your Black Amex, & leave your taste at home.
