Svente (Jaunsvente) Manor

Highly recommended for a relaxing stay and an enjoyable meal experience. It’s located in a quiet small town with nature of forest and lake. Restaurant has great food with adorable taste and price. Staffs are friendly and nice for any request.

We coming to the Sventes muiža restaurant not the first time, love to dine in here. Good and polite service, delicious dishes, nice and peaceful surrounding. Definitely recommend to visit and have a dinner in this beautiful historical place. Affordable prices and they have even escargot, his is not typical dish to find in this area.

Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. Perfect for one night staying. Clean rooms decorated in classical style. There is also sau a and turkish hamam. For small family events there is cozy room, separated from restaurant hall. Separate banquet menu is available. Food is quite sophisticated and delicious 😋

Rooms were very clean, nicely sized, and comfortable, and the service was really excellent. The staff was very attractive, I had a very pleasant experience here. Location is a little off the normal route but very quiet. And a plus is that the Army Tank Museum is at the same location. Thanks, Rick. May 20th, 2023

Room is nice size but lugging suitcases up 2 floors of stairs sucks. No Hôtel assistance. ||||Beds are very uncomfortable. ||||Bath is OK. ||||No AC. ||||Dinner was pretty good. ||||Mushroom soup is excellent. Fried shrimp appetizers are very nice as well. ||||Spare ribs are very tender. ||||Excellent ice cream.

My wife and I were guests at Sventes Manor for one evening. We were very impressed with the quality of the staff and the level of service. We took advantage of their sauna (pirts) facilifies and were very satisfied with everything offered| A cold tub would be a Nice addition for the future. Dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was also filling and delicious. The only downside with the Manor was the mattress in our suite. It was obviously very used and due for a replacement. I cannot remember a hotel with a mattress in worse condition. After all it left me struggeling between a 5 eating and a 3. Invest some money in new beds and returns will be tenfold.

Amazing experience! We were 2 couples, reserved 2 last available rooms in advance. Service in rooms is excellent and deserves each of 4 stars. Restaurant (food, service, atmosphere) is splendid! We recommend each dish that we tasted - ravioli with deer meat, steak, shashlik, white fish.||Breakfast was included and it was so rich! (various eggs & pancakes or toasts with raspberry jam, cheese and meet plate, vegetables OR porrige & muesli, coffee or tea). We were lucky to get into the museum after dinner, as it was already late. ||We read that there is a park besides manor territory, that is in a renovation process.

The Jaunsvente Manor is a hotel with a great restaurant serving authentic Latvia food which has the added bonus of having a wonderful tank museum in the front parking area. Yes, this si the home of the best preserved and workable WWII tanks in Latvia. The museum facility is a new concrete and glass building which is well-lit and open to the public for only 2 Euros.||I loved the food, and visited twice. Sauces and mushrooms are superb.||The tank museum is amazing. You can walk all around just about everything. For about 40 Euros they sometimes let you ride in a tank.||The hotel is a former stately manor house converted many times for many purposes, and now a hotel in an unlikely location.
