Sveti Stefan Beach

This is easily one of the top 3 beaches I have ever seen & walked on. I have traveled to 90 different countries now. So that's something impressive to give such a glowing recommendation of this beach. I have posted more videos of this beach & my travels on my youtube page @jealousmuchlol

Clean water and beach. Nice views. However, the entry into the water is very uncomfortable due to large boulders that are painful to walk on. Considering the price of €50 for an umbrella and two sunbeds, they could have made the access to the sea more convenient.

One of the best beaches in the area, really clean, quite big. Starts with stones, but then becomes nice sand quite quickly in the water. Some bars and restaurants. Lots of paid sun loungers, but also free public areas. Best to park at top of hill and walk as not much parking.

Getting there is easy: From Budva center, it's just a 15-20 minute drive. If you prefer public transport, buses run frequently (every 15 minutes) and cost only 2.5 euros per person - just remember to bring cash as cards aren't accepted. The beach has two distinct sides. The left side features a stony shoreline, while the right side has a mix of sand and pebbles - this is where you'll get the best sunset views. I highly recommend renting an umbrella (15 euros) as shade can be limited during peak hours. For dining options, walk up the stairs near the beach to reach the road above. Just 5 minutes away you'll find several excellent restaurants serving fresh seafood and local Montenegrin dishes. Helpful tips: - Arrive early in peak season to secure a good spot - Water shoes are useful due to some rocky areas - Don't forget cash for buses and beach amenities With its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere, Sveti Stefan Beach is absolutely worth visiting. The stunning views and magical sunsets make it one of my favorite places in Montenegro.

Beautiful beach with stunning views. Keep in mind there are no public toilets – you need to buy something from the cafes to use their restrooms. There are only a few cafes and limited options to eat near the beach, but it’s worth visiting for the scenery.

This beach truly came out from a fairytale book: stunning view, very calm sea and empty beach even on a Saturday. The prices for the sun bed and drinks were a little more expensive than usual, but nothing absurd (30 euros for 2 sun beds + umbrella). Easy access by bus from both Kotor and Budva

Hello Everyone ! Sveti Stefan is absolutely breathtaking and easily one of the most beautiful places in Montenegro. The moment you see the iconic island connected by its narrow causeway, it feels like a postcard come to life. The contrast of the historic stone buildings, terracotta roofs, and the crystal-clear turquoise Adriatic Sea is simply stunning. Whether you’re viewing it from the viewpoint above or relaxing on the nearby beach, the atmosphere is calm, elegant, and unforgettable. Sunset here is pure magic — the colors, the light, and the scenery create a truly romantic and cinematic experience. Even if you’re not staying on the island, seeing Sveti Stefan in person is a must-do and a highlight of any trip to Montenegro. Highly recommended! Sveti Stefan is absolutely breathtaking! The view of the island and the turquoise water is stunning, it looks like a postcard. The atmosphere is peaceful, elegant, and perfect for relaxing or taking amazing photos. A must-visit if you’re in Montenegro!
