Dinner with family on a beautiful, sunny spring evening. Langoustine for main course was a small miracle, one of the best servings I have had in a while!! Great service!

Beautiful place with rustic yet sophisticated charm. The food is top notch traditional Danish. Right on the beach, in the dunes away from other buildings. Truly magic.

The magical place of Svinkløv Badehotel is worth the drive, the ride, the walk or how you make it there. Chef Kenneth Hansen delivers the freshest and most delicate food made from local ingredients. You need to stay there for breakfast, but lunch, afternoon cakes & coffee and dinner is available for visitors. This season spot in Jammerbugten, Denmark is a sure hit…

We came for dinner at this recently rebuilt historical hotel and both the preset menu’s as well as ala carte options were very impressive. Rooms during summer peak must be booked in advance as they are generally fully booked. However, it’s worth coming just for the food which is excellent.

I rarely write reviews about the places I visit. But when I left Svinkløv Badehotel I was so keen to share my impressions, my enthusiasm! The whole team deserves we put this atypical place in the spotlights.||To get there, we drive through an astonishing landscape mixing flat areas and small hills, moor and forest. We meet a lot of horses, obviously happy to live in such a beautiful wild world. We meet few people even if we guess that low houses are hidden in the trees or the dunes. Then suddenly, at a bend, the ocean is there! And right on the edge, this wooden hotel, simple and powerful like the waves. A car park surprises by the presence of many visitors attracted by this famous address.||Upon entering the building, the eyes are immediately caught by a counter where wonderful cakes delight a public who has come to conclude an iodized stroll while savouring a very gourmet coffee! We are immersed in an atmosphere of happy holidays by the sea.||Upon entering the building, the eyes are immediately caught by a counter where wonderful cakes delight a public who has come to conclude an iodized stroll while savouring a very gourmet coffee! We are immersed in an atmosphere of happy holidays by the sea.||I recommend you to stay at this hotel. Behind the apparent simplicity that immediately puts you at ease, hides a generous will to do well, good and beautiful. Never before have I known such a wonderful balance between simplicity and an eye for detail. Everything is designed to be consistent, so that you feel good; it's like a synthesis of Danish hygge just you. You will quickly notice the taste of light, colours, discreet comfort. It's harder to describe to you how Kenneth and Louise Toft Hansen also manage to help you disconnect by reconnecting with yourself, others and nature. You have to feel that. For example, here, no television in the rooms but a lounge for the hotel guests, where every evening tea and coffee are offered to you with cupcakes to meet your neighbours.||Table side!! Kenneth won the Bocuse d´Or in 2019. Needless to say, the food is very good. But again, it feels comfortable, relaxed, seated served by such smiling and attentive staff. On the plate, the dishes also reflect the incredible balance between simplicity and refinement; it is like savouring gourmet cuisine in a summer guesthouse atmosphere. The products are simply fresh, tasty, the sauces and the cooking perfect! Homemade bread, as well as tender and tasty dry ham Kenneth produces too. The desserts; Oh dear! Breakfast, also taken while looking at the sea, is a pure moment of happiness.||I simply didn't want to leave and I dream of going back! May you also experience that feeling.
