Fantastic park! Lots of shade—both from large trees and canopies over the playground and parents’ benches. The playground is huge with lots to do for all ages. There is a huge grassy area and picnic benches lining the perimeter of the whole park.

Nice park near the aquatic center with some great covered picinic areas. The kids playground is modern and very very large! It is really worth the time to come down and see this park. Sadly, the water fountains were not on because of the construction at the aquatic center. Maybe next time..

Great playground with a nice clim ing structure and a cool seated Zipline thingy that was pretty fun, even for my 12 year old. There are some shady spots to sit and a baseball diamond. It's right next to rec center with an outdoor pool. Just off the main tourist road in Moab, but it feels like a neighborhood park.

New playground in 2025! Lots of shade and clean equipment for all ages. Terrific!

Awesome Community Park. It has wide open grassy areas for pickup games like football or ultimate Frisbee. The kiddos will love the playground area. There is a swimming pool co-located on the block.

Many playground elements. A lot of slides and a lot of swings. Our kids played here for a couple hours after being at the pool. Which is another thing. This park is right next door to the rec center which has a really nice outdoor pool area.

Google
Cool park with lots of shade, and the playground is new & accessible. There is a skatepark that is kind of poorly designed. There is a raised pavillion to eat under as well as smaller ones on the south side. There is direct bike trail access which alone brings my rating up by 1 star. The playground has surprisingly little to do and to many saftey features restrict fun too much.

We stopped and ate lunch. There was picnic tables that were covered. Nice playground for younger kids. Did see any basket ball hoops or baseball fields. There is a restroom. Nice place to relax for a bit.

Yelp
Swanny City Park in Moab was a perfect spot for our group of kids. The play structures felt new and offered challenges for every age, keeping everyone entertained. There was plenty of shade, making it a great place to burn off energy between ice cream treats and relaxing at the campsite before dinner and bedtime.

Yelp
Why have rules that aren't enforced?? The blatant pot smoking; vaping, cigarettes, etc.... Plus, dogs everywhere. The lot is filled with van dwellers that are the biggest culprits for what I just mentioned. AND I too am a van dweller with a dog. But, follow the dang rules! Nothing worse than trying to enjoy a nice spring day and the group next to you are hitting a big fatty (strong smelling stuff too; probably imported from Colorado). The one star is for the potable water that is available. Although, I usually have to wait for someone to finish bathing and doing their laundry before I can fill my 5 gallon jug (yuck). Yes, tourism is a must here; but these slack lining, pot smoking, dog fetching, music blaring hippies do not seem to be very productive. So, remove the "no smoking, no dogs, no loitering" signs and embrace the SUCK. I'll gladly go elsewhere quite frankly...

Yelp
Beautiful park with large grass field, skate park and playground. The community pool is also here.

Yelp
When it's a bajillion degrees outside (as it often is in Moab) this is a really nice respite for the sun-weary. I had just finished running down the Colorado and it was still around a bajillion degrees, so the trusty Yelp app led me to this park. Oh, those towering trees and lush green grass. I laid down and promptly took a nap in the breeze under the shade and it was most tolerable. If you're staying up or downriver in one of those dusty spots, this is certainly going to an appealing spot to take a lunch or even dinner. It felt humane and I felt human once again. You've got lots of room to spread out here, take a nap, or bring the kiddos to play around. This is also right next to the public pool at the community center, which looks to be pretty new and an amazing oasis if you can't stand the heat. As noted with signs around the park, there are no dogs allowed, not even on leash.

Yelp
This looks like a nice park, but don't even think about bringing your dog. Some jerk* on a bike told us to get out of here with ours. Sure enough on 3 sides of the park there are signs saying no dogs, just not one at the big cross walk where we entered (the natural entrance for people staying at nearby hotels). Who creates such a nice park in an otherwise dog-friendly town, then bans man's best friend? Oh well, we'll find somewhere else to walk our furry buddy. *Good people of Moab, if you see a stranger walking his or her dog in your park, you could politely tell them that you don't allow dogs in your park. They probably just walked in where there is no "no dogs allowed" sign. Where we come from, the park is where you go to walk your dog. I guess sometimes local customs don't line up. That's fine, but there is no reason to be a jerk about it.

Yelp
NOT CLOSED!!! Great playground and field. My kids loved it. Only suggestion is to bring insect repellent if you go in the evening.

Yelp
Amazing park for kids- tons of new playground equipment. Sucks for dogs! Got into town from being in the car for hours, wanted to find a park so the dog could get out and the kiddo could play as well. Signs everywhere of NO DOGS. It's a park!
