20 Best Places to Go Apple Picking in the U.S.

"About a 50-minute drive from Seattle, this orchard has over 4,000 apple trees (four varieties across five acres) with picking beginning in mid-September; seasonal Apple Festival and Fall Festival weekends feature corn mazes, pick-your-own pumpkin patches, cider doughnuts, a petting zoo, hayrides, and intentionally shorter trees so children can reach apples easily." - Andrea Romano Andrea Romano Andrea Romano is a writer and editor in New York City. Our little girl had so much fun at her 1st pumpkin patch experience. The u pick patches and food area are free to enter and the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. There were pumpkins of all sizes and color to choose from. The food was really surprising. Didn’t get a picture of everything but everything was pretty delicious! Cider donuts 10/10- fresh, moist, sweet. Pumpkin bar latte 10/10 - not too sweet and alittle different than a pumpkin pie latte Pumpkin chili 8/10- mine was lukewarm but it was good. Didn’t taste too different from regular chili Carmel Apples were HUGE. A really good deal compared to the state fair. Cookie was so good. Has a deep molasses flavor. Great place to take the family and has a large parking lot. Feel like this place offered great value overall.

We had such a great time at this pumpkin patch! The kids were all smiles, from petting animals to bouncing on the jump pillow, slides, corn maze, riding the tractor and so much more, there was no shortage of things to do. It’s perfect for all ages and surprisingly affordable. It was a bit crowded in the morning (thanks to school field trips), but by noon we practically had the place to ourselves. Staff were friendly, and while the food and coffee were a little pricey, it wasn’t outrageous. The parking lot is huge but fills up fast, and can be a little bit of a walk to the main attractions, so plan accordingly! Over all an amazing experience, and we definitely will be back!

Excellent place for autumn! The farm is big and there are plenty activities to do: 🎃 The pumpkin patch has a lot of different pumpkins to choose, variating in colors and sizes. It has a great scenery for pictures, we even witnessed a proposal 🫶 🌽 The corn maze is not hard, it was entertaining 🐐You can pet small goats and see other animals 🍎 There is an orchard to pick apples, we didn’t do that, but how lovely the idea of picking some and then baking pie at home 🛍️ Nice shop, my friend and I got the cutest plushies that come inside a can. Lots of thingies to look around 🍟 Food is amazing. The apple-cider doughnuts are INCREDIBLE, caramel apple so good too, brisket and fries were also good. There’s also corn and other foods:) the line to the food went fast Others: There’s where to wash hands outside public toilets and petting goats activity Women-only restrooms, which I appreciate Good parking spaces Recommend!

This place was so much fun! My husband and I took our two boys (10 &7) to visit for the fall festival. We spent 4 hours there and still didnt get to do all they had to offer. We did a cow train, hay ride, corn maze, pumpkin garden, jungle gym, hay pyramid, duck race, animal farm, apple cider donuts, apple cider flight, hot apple cider, hot cocoa and the zip lines. My boys had a great time, the staff were friendly and helpful, everything was clean, the corn maze was the best ive ever seen, the fact that its set up like WA state was extra great. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we all highly recommend this farm to others. :) thanks so much for the great family day out, Swan Trail Farms.

Google
We love Swans Trail! It’s great because they have no admission fee to get in, so you just have to pay for the things you get or do. We like to do a walk through the apple orchard (it’s so quiet and smells so good, especially after rain!) then, go grab some food and cider. Highly recommend the elote and doing a flight of cider. Then of course, get some pumpkins! They have a great selection of types of pumpkins, colors, and sizes. And totally fair prices, as well! We paid about $30 for 3 medium sized pumpkins for carving and a couple of extra small ones for decor. We don’t have any kids, but the kid areas look like so much fun, there is so much to do with the littles! Definitely feel like this is by far the best pumpkin patch in the Seattle-adjacent area.

I visited this farm and had a fantastic time. It only opened a couple of days ago, so there weren't many people there, and I was able to fully enjoy everything. Everything was very organized, the atmosphere was great, and I could even say it was cozy. Parking was very accessible. The food and cider were perfect. We had a great time and were excited to celebrate the arrival of autumn 😍

Google
One of my favorite farms in the area. Great apple cider donuts and fall energy. You don’t need to pay admission if you are stopping my for pumpkins, apples, their donuts, or food. The food is pretty good. I’m giving it a 4/5 because personally I’d prefer the loaded fries to use thicker cut potatoes. The grease and think cut fries can make them go soft pretty quick. That being said flavor is good and it’s all pretty fresh. I’ve been 3 times this season already just to grab some donuts and coffee after some good fishing.

Google
This is the farm you want to go to! If it’s just a couple or a full family there is a place for you at this farm. The Cider House was spectacular! Try a flight and enjoy the view. The pumpkin garden was unbelievable! This is my annual favorite, definitely recommend!

Yelp
I love love love fall festivities and Swans Trails Farms ticked off all the boxes! It's a beautifully large farm with activities for everyone: friends, couples, and families. They have your pumpkin patches and apple orchard for picking. They have your classic corn maze with a hayride to take you to the entrance. They have plenty of animal friends to see and pet. And what kind of fall festivity would it be without foods, such as apple cider, corn, and brisket. The food portions were MASSIVE. I would highly recommend sharing and if you're still hungry, it's an excuse to try more food! The mac n' cheese was our favorite food, and our favorite drink had to be the cider slushy. I love hot apple cider, but their new cider slushy was so refreshing and apple-y. All the prices are reasonable too given how much food you get. For this farm, some activities are completely free if you just want to visit, such as their pumpkin patch, apple orchard, and country store. Otherwise, their weekday price is $15 and $23 on weekends (if you buy online). The caveat is that there are limited activities on weekdays depending on staff availability. I'd recommend going the weekend if you want the full experience, it's totally worth it. Swans Trails Farms is truly the perfect fall activity for everyone, and I haven't even been able to describe everything they have to offer. To find out, you'll just have to experience it yourself! :)

Yelp
I visited last month during the weekend, and wow this place was packed! I was there for an apple picking event, although the organizers were a bit late, so when I showed up at the end of the apple trail I didn't see them. I tried asking the workers, but they didn't have any knowledge about it and then sent me to the front ticket booth. Let me tell you, trying to figure what was going on was a Kafkaesque nightmare. I crashed at least three other gatherings as I was being directed from one place to another. Whoops. Anyways, I finally found my group and we picked apples. I like how they had labels on each row of trees to identify the cultivar. It also turns out that they put a few crabapples in each row for pollination purposes, but they're very obviously not to be picked as the fruits are small. Apples were $3.50/lb, but slightly cheaper if you buy them pre-picked. The fresh apples taste much better than the ones in grocery stores, which can be stored for up to a year in warehouses. I was surprised to find the fresh apples were more crisp with thinner skin! I got a cider doughnut before I left, and it was so soft, tender, and pillowy! There was great apple flavor.

Yelp
Came here with a large group and had so much fun! There was so much to do that we ended up staying for over 3 hours. We picked out pumpkins, tried the food and did cider flights, took the hay ride to the Washington corn maze, watched the pig show and the duck race, pet goats, had cider donuts, and went through the hay maze. Would definitely recommend for a fall activity!

Yelp
Since moving to WA, Swans has been an annual trip for our group of friends. This year it was a bit different, with our newest family edition! One of the surprises we got, upon arrival at the farm was the upgraded bathrooms! So much better than trying to balance in a port-o-potty, which we did have to eventually do when they closed the bathrooms for what we assume was cleaning. This year we got to try the changing & nursing hut. While its great that they have this, I would strongly recommend moving the supplies OUT of the hut and making a separate area for changing stations and nursing. Even just changing our daughter diaper, it felt intrusive. I have no idea how a nursing or pumping mom would feel with all the people on an out of the little curtain door hut. Good effort though-just needs some improvements! The food prices have gone up and quality this year also seem to have fallen, which was disappointing with the price already paid for activity admissions. Was sad I had to chose between corn on the cob and a caramel apple - wasn't going to drop as much as they each were after undercooked fries. The activities are still fun though-this year we all hopped into the little tractor train ride. Our daughter got a kick out of it! We cant wait for her to be a bit bigger and pay at the bubbles stations, try the zipline, and the cool obstacle course. I do wish they would make the pumpkin garden display area a bit wider but we still managed to get some cute pictures of her. Sadly, this year, we got rained out before we could pick apples or grab a pumpkin, though usually they have a GREAT selection of apples to pick in the orchard. Staff as always, was very friendly and ready to help if you need it-just need some better cooks back there! All in all, we will be back next year - we cant wait for her to be old enough to pay attention to the pig show and the duck race!

Yelp
I had a very nice time apple picking at Swans Trails Farm this past. We went there the opening week and apples were impressively abundant. We went on a weekday morning so there weren't too many people or traffic. It was fun to wander around and choose the most appealing apples. Honey crisp of course, which were delicious. It was a great value to have the joy of apple picking plus having fairly priced and quality apples. Apple cider donuts and kettle corn are also must. We even got to see a duck race. Very cute!

Yelp
I love a pumpkin patch and Swans Trial Farms is a fun one! You definitely will not get bored here; there's lots of fun for everyone. They have a huge area for kids. Adults can have fun too with the corn maze, chick holding experience, food, lifting hay bails, throwing footballs, and watching the duck race. You can also go apple and pumpkin picking. I will say this farm is geared more towards kids events than adults but my friends and I had fun. They have good food, but a little pricey or misleading at certain places. Donuts were really tasty and fresh! Lemonade was just ok. They don't really squeeze the lemon they just cut it up and throw it in so it's not really strong or even tastes like lemon unless you jab it with your straw to release the lemon juice. Pretty decent size though! Iced Latte's were good. The vendor told us that the cookies were freshly baked but they definitely were not. It was pretty hard and not warm at all. The adult corn maze was way too easy even without using a map, compared to other corn mazes I'm been to. Overall a fun experience for everyone!

Yelp
What a terrific way to spend the perfect late summer/early fall weather. The orchards are just idyllic. Wandering through the orchards picking the apples that are just calling your name is such an enjoyable experience for kids and adults alike. A visit to Swans Trail Farms is a great way to enjoy all the beauty and fresh food the PNW has to offer while supporting a local farm. The staff was so friendly and kind, especially the girl at the weigh station for the apples (which are $3.50/lb regardless of apple type). There is no admission fees for the orchard portion of the farm, so the price not only goes towards delicious, fresh apples, but also to the experience of wandering through the orchard. The apple cider was delightful and the donuts were crisp and cakey and perfectly sweet. I plan to take visiting friends here when they are lucky enough to be around these parts at the right time of year to check out the apple farm!

Yelp
Really awesome place. A great time for apple picking, donut eating, cider drinking, and much more. Lots of things to do and great service!

Yelp
The biggest takeaway from going here is that I chose the wrong career and should've purchased a farm instead. There is people everywhere and there are so many different ways to spend money. Fortunes are made and lost on this property. There is an admission bracelet that allows you to participate in many activities such as jumping on a tarp thing, throwing basketballs or baseballs, pet a donkey, look at a pig, climb on a rope and so many more. There are also many little things that also cost money such as a gift shop, picking of apples/pumpkins, cider, a restaurant, corn purchasing and more. The apples are $3.50/lb and they give you a bag that holds 22lbs. It is tempting to fill the bag up but that would cost $75 or so. There are 3 kinds of apples and the apples we tried(cosmic crisp) were delicious.

Yelp
This year I came earlier in the month and it was a rainy day! I tried the donuts this time and it was well worth the wait, so delicious and 6 for $10. I also checked out the country store and they have so many jarred options, fun shaped pastas and children's books. The flight in the cidery was $14 instead of $12.50 last year but it was still delicious (STF apple pie was my favorite).

Yelp
We love this local farm for all seasons in snohomish county. swan has some great events planned throughout the year, we have enjoyed all the fun adventures. The teenage staff have great attitudes which is nice to see. It might be a little on the spendy side but worth it to make priceless family memories and supporting a local farm. Berries and baby animals - I mean...come on! Baby animals and strawberries, what better way to celebrate dad? Fall harvest pumpkins! All things with apples. My only selfish wish is that this awesome local farm stayed a secret but I am happy to see them flourishing. We love supporting local businesses and are happy to share this quaint farm with other families. Cheers to apple cider season & PSL

Yelp
We had a fantastic visit with our toddler. There were more than enough activities to keep our 26-month-old happily entertained, including a petting zoo, playground, big slides, tractor ride, pumpkins field and apple picking. The Honeycrisp apples we picked were perfectly sweet and crisp. We also loved the fresh apple cider donuts! Stroller Tip: The paths are mostly unpaved. We used a baby carrier for 5 weeks old and hiking child carrier for 26 month old, which worked well for us. Strollers are possible if you're okay with pushing over bumpy terrain. Overall, a great experience and a perfect spot for a family fall adventure!

Yelp
Currently my favorite pumpkin patch farm to go to! They offer so many things here, such as animals, baby chicks petting, duck races, tractor tricycles, slides, basketball, baseball, football, photo opportunities, foods & drinks, making bubbles, and corn mazes. I had their apple cider donuts which were amazing! It was very fresh, warm, crispy, snd sweet! The price of the tickets were $17 after tax which I say was worth it! The service was good. Staff were mostly nice! Overall, I had a great time here and I'd definitely would come back next year!

Yelp
TL;DR: Great apple picking (Honeycrisp & Ruby Red), friendly staff, and delicious fresh cider. Festival is best for families with young kids--older visitors might prefer weekdays to avoid weekend admission. Country store & cider are must-stops; donuts were just okay. Fun seasonal spot for friends or family! My friends and I visited Swans Trail Farms on the first day of their Fall Festival, and we started with U-pick apples to see if we'd want to come back for more festival fun. Crowds & Vibes For being opening weekend, I was pleasantly surprised--it didn't feel overcrowded at all and wait times were minimal. The festival is definitely geared more toward families with younger kids, but for older visitors, I'd recommend going on a weekday. That way you skip the weekend admission prices while still enjoying the apples, food, and cider. Apple Picking Apple picking was the highlight! At the time, there were two varieties available (Honeycrisp & Ruby Red), with more to come later in the season. The staff running the U-pick were super friendly and explained both the varieties and the proper way to pick. I also loved that the trees are grown short--more like tall bushes--so picking is easy for everyone. At $3.50/lb, I left with a bag full of crisp, delicious apples. Cider & Snacks Don't miss the fresh-pressed apple cider (and definitely stop by the cider barn to see it being made). Their hard cider is also worth trying--made on-site with fun, layered apple notes . The apple cider donuts were good, though not quite the "wow" factor I was hoping for (tasted more like grocery store donuts). Extra Perks One thing I really appreciate: the country store and food vendors are outside the admission area, so you can enjoy fresh cider, snacks, and seasonal goods without buying a festival ticket. The store itself is a treat--stocked with local goodies like salsa, pickles, and cider. Festival Activities For me, the hayride and corn maze looked like the most enjoyable "festival" attractions. Families with little ones will definitely get the most out of the full event. Overall Swans Trail Farms is a charming seasonal stop--whether you're there for apple picking, cider sipping, or a full family festival day. Great for a fall outing with friends or kids.

Yelp
We visited swans trail farms for their pumpkin patch and had a ton of fun! All of the staff is super friendly and helped explain what all there is to do around the farm. They also have a larger selection of food than most farms that do a pumpkin patch or some other event, so it was nice to get why we wanted. I also think that the value is comparable to other farm events around the area and most importantly it's not super far/in the middle of nowhere. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Really cool place, the food was nice and the apples were amazing, went around mid-September, I would go again
google avatar

Yelp
A little late to review but my husband and I came here at the end of September for apple picking! We absolutely loved it here! Parking was easy and there was no additional charge. Online you can buy the attractions wrist band if you want extra things like watching ducks race, kid friendly spots, farm animals and more but we were there mainly for u-pick so we passed on the wrist band. Upon entering, they have lots of portable potties which were clean for the most part. A variety of different foods that you have to try! We really loved the roasted corn stand, apple cider donuts (totally should have gotten more of these), bbq brisket sandwich, and apple cider slush! Everything was so good! There little store is also adorable where you can buy pickled goods, apple cider, and more! U-pick for apples were just a short walk away and at the time the Cosmic Crisp and another apple type was available to grab. We picked about 5lbs of apples. Wish I had gotten some corn because the corn here was really tasty! We also visited their little pumpkin patch to check out the different varieties! Overall, I will definitely be coming back! This place is so cute and family friendly!

Yelp
I had a great experience at Swans Trail Farms. I enjoyed the pumpkin patch, an apple cider donut, and a fun espresso drink. The drink was just okay but a much needed pick-me-up. The lines were a bit long so I didn't feel like I was able to see and do everything I wanted to. But the apples, honey, and pumpkin butter I bought were delicious and it was a fun day! The festival upgrade is definitely geared more toward kids so if you're just there for pumpkins and apple picking you don't need the upgrade. I felt like we had plenty to do without it as adults without kids. Plan for a whole day here, especially if the weather is nice and you buy the wristbands.

Yelp
Love this place. Friendly staff, free parking, good food and enough to keep kids busy and happy. For a couple years now I've been bringing young nephews when the the apples are ripe and the pumpkins are ready. If you just want to pick some apples there's no cost: $3.50 a pound for honey crisp and cosmic crisp, etc. You don't want to miss out on your chance to get the best apple cider donuts (6 for $9). Truly worth whatever line you have to stand in. They come out warm and so delicious. Also amazing corn, and the best corndogs you'll have had in a while. Kettle corn bags are $7. If you decide to buy the kids pass you have access to an amazing pyramid made of Haybale that makes for many great photos and chance for the kids to really climb hard and have a great time. There's also the barrel wagon and the burlap sack slide is fantastic it's also covered so it's a rainy day they still have a great time. There is a pig show and a fantastic petting zoo area where the animals aren't really for petting but great to observe and get close to. That ticket is about $23 for wrist bracelet -- but it is entire day of activities for the kids.

Jacky A.

Yelp
Our toddler loved the cow train, tractor bikes, hay climbing, and the all farm animals! They have a great set up with lots of space for everyone to enjoy. The duck race was cute! The line was long for food but well worth the wait!!! We pretty much got one of everything since we waited a bit. Donuts, cider, chili, coffee, popcorn, hotdog it was all soooooo good! If you're on a budget definitely get the donuts and cider they are a must! The people there are friendly and helpful. We got a bunch of apples that were so fresh and crisp! And lastly we pick out two pumpkins. There is so much to do and many photo ops. Well worth the price. We spent a few hours there it was so much fun!
google avatar

Yelp
What a cool spot! We're new to the area so just exploring different kids activities and this place was on the list. We came during October on a Saturday for their pumpkin patch festivities. First, there was a pretty long line of traffic to get in. They do have people directing traffic and it moved fairly well, but just be prepared. Once you're in though, they seem to have plenty of parking since they open the fields in the back for additional parking. Of course thats where we were directed. The walk wasn't too bad but fair warning, its like dirt and offroad and I didn't see a shuttle. Only 2 handicap spots which were full of course so if you're mobility impaired, just a heads up during busy times. I hear coming during the weekdays is much better. So the farm itself is free! So that ticketing booth when you walk in is for the 'extra' festivities. You can buy wristbands to partake in their corn maze, kids bounce house area, tours, rides, etc. You can take the hay ride for free as well but if all you want is to get to the pumpkins, the walk isn't too bad and there are plenty of photo ops along the way. Something that excited me was a cidery in the back. We sampled a bunch of ciders and had some snacks like hot dogs and chips. Overall, this is a great farm with a lot of entertainment options. Both adults and kids in our group enjoyed our time there. We'll most likely return. We'll try to hit it up on a weekday to avoid the large sell-out crowds but if we had to come on a saturday again, its not that bad. We'll just try to get there a little earlier.

Yelp
We go here every year and it is amazing! It's big and so many things to see and do! Best pumpkin patch in the county! Plan on spending the whole day! Lots of delicious food too! Nice staff! Be sure to line your pocketbook with lots of cash because you are going to need it! Other than the food, once in, everything inside is covered in the entrance fee. Like everywhere you go now, the food is expensive.

Caitlin B.

Yelp
My family and I go here every year. We love the food and all the activities!! We normally go for the fall festival but this year we will go to the small animals one too!!

Yelp
3.5 Stars. Incredible crowded on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Lots of children and families. The donuts are light, fluffy, not too sweet. The U-Pick Apples at $3.50 a pound and there is a good variety. They are large, flavorful, and juicy. They have fresh apple cider donuts, roasted corn, kettle corn, and food items. Overall a really great time though ! :)

Yelp
My friends and I decided to go to Swans Trail Farms this week. Our main goal was to get the apple cider donuts. Having the biggest sweet tooth among my friends, I was the happiest with the donuts - I inhaled two of them upon arrival with a cup of warm cider. $3 for two medium sized donuts felt like a great deal when you face $6 pastries any other day in Seattle area. The farm is a nice getaway from more urban area - it was pretty fast to get there too - about 40 minutes of driving from SLU. I got to see some random chickens at the farm that seemed to have come out of nowhere and saw some cows and horses on the way to the farm. Pumpkin patch was vast and you get a big selection. Staff was nice and she went out of her way to tell us which pumpkins are good for eating. I learned that cinderella pumpkins and the small orange round ones are best for eating (not that I was looking for one - I'm team kabocha all the way but my friend wanted to get one that she could eat).

Yelp
Went there for the first time last year for apple picking and I loved it. All the varieties we picked were sweet and crispy that we regretted not getting enough. They also have a store where you can buy some of their products. This year we went for strawberries and although we were at the end of the season we still got enough to bring home and enjoy.

Yelp
Just another reason why I absolutely love living in Snohomish, I'm surrounded by beautiful farms like Swans Trail Farms. I have to applaud the Swans Trail Farm staff as they all were extremely courteous and helpful. The activity sections are ran very well, the staff members were all very easy to identify as they had matching shirts. Helpful suggestion for parents with younger children plan to arrive early so your little ones will have greater access to the play areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our Saturday morning playing, and gathering apples. The apples are sweet, and crispy my toddlers love going to our apple basket to snack on the apples they selected. If you're seeking a fun fall activity I highly recommend visiting Swans Trail Farm!

Silvy

Yelp
The best farm I've ever experienced! beautifully planned and laid out with artistic and creative flare to the corn maze and pumpkin garden. luscious apples and the best cider donuts. friendly and helpful staff everywhere with so many perfectly organized activities. lots of parking and space to sit and enjoy a nosh. Oh and piggies and baby coo soooo much there yet not commercial or fake, true farm atmosphere.

Yelp
After a nightmare visit last fall, I swore to never be back again, but Babies and Berries festival is my favorite so I packed up my 5 year old, and braced myself for the worst. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised. A lot of my complaints from my earlier review were rectified--much more seating for eating. Less crowds and they were actually turning people away that hadn't prepaid online. The waits were very reasonable. We loved holding bunnies, chicks, ducklings, puppies, and kittens. The young staff did a great job watching out for the animals. The strawberry shortcake was so much better than in past years. The shortcake seemed homemade, but a little pricey at $12. The overall vibe today was just so much more peaceful thanks to the limited crowd. People were smiling, happy, friendly instead of stressed and miserable. Please continue the crowd control and we will keep coming back (even if it means paying more for admission).

Yelp
I went to Swans Trail Farms on a Sunday morning to experience their Harvest Festival. This is the second time in 3 years that I have come and I loved it again! They do a fabulous job with their corn maze, magical pumpkin garden, animal barn, pumpkin patch, food, gem mining, hayride, and so much more! There is a wide variety of things to do here and it is definitely very family friendly and fun!

Farm G.

Yelp
Hay maze barn - needs work. 1) A sign OUTSIDE warning about flashing light should be required for those with epilepsy. They didn't have a flashing light last year but this year the bulb was put in to help with the mood going up the stairs to the hay maze. Definitely hurts more than helps the atmosphere. I felt I was going to have a seizure but couldn't close my eyes because I was with my 3 yr old 2) floor up to the slide gets easily overcrowded when there is a backup of people especially during preschool field trips and the floor shakes and feels like you will be on the next headline of the news stating "parents and kids fall and 30 injured, 3 dead due to floor crashing. 3) the extra long slide is NOT supported in the middle (just add 3 2x4's in a rectangle in the middle so little kids go extra fast and bounce a bit and one preschooler fell forward and banged her head. The staff were helpful and presented a ice pack when asked. I was impressed with the increase of staff members. For a pumpkin patch this place does have it all but I highly recommend scratching any use of the hay maze and the barn...I think everyone would agree it would be better used to look at cows and see them being milked. its really not adding anything to the experience but panic and injury. Just using square footage.

Yelp
We just had to euthanize the 9 week old kitten we adopted from the Baby Animals event at Swans Trail Farms due to panleukopenia virus (cat parvo), which caused him to not have any white blood cells. All of the kittens Swan's Trail Farm had in their care were infected, which means all of the people that adopted the other kittens are infected as well and going through the same thing my family is currently going through. We won't be able to bring another kitten into our home for a year per the Doctor due to everything in our home being infected. Swans Trail Farms please be more responsible when caring for animals. Rest in Peace, sweet angel baby Spider

Yelp
I love Swans Trail Farms! We've been going to their seasonal festivals and we always have a good time. They sell tickets which allow you to access special areas of the farm, but you can also just show up and do the u pick fruit or eat at their food stands. They have a bunch of fun stuff like giant slides, baby animals, ziplines, and hay/corn mazes. Ha ha I think they are for kids, but as an adult they are also fun. We also have eaten food there. They have a wide selection of items from brisket, mac and cheese, hot dogs, and pizza to strawberry shortcake, apple cider donuts, etc. Snohomish is a long drive for us, but we feel like it is worth it. There is plenty of parking at the farm, so that part is easy. This is a local family owned farm, so it is nice to support a small business. Also, all of the workers are super friendly and helpful, so that really stands out and I appreciate that!

Yelp
Love it! So so much to do for kiddos. The season pass Is definitely worth it. Can get expensive, but if you bring your own food (get the donuts once at least), it's not too bad, especially with the pass. My four-year-old wants to go every week. Everyone working there has been friendly. Go on a weekday if possible to avoid the crow

Yelp
Our usual pumpkin patch for the last couple of years. Duck races, corn maze, tractor rides, has all of the entertainment for the children. Food and drinks are always delicious and reasonably priced. I have never had issues with parking either. My only gripe from this season's patch is the checkout for the pumpkins. The lady who checked us out obviously makes the final call on what the price of the pumpkin is based on the size. I was told one price and charged a higher amount so just be careful when checking out and if you care to dispute your pumpkin size to what they have on display.

Yelp
We took our 5 year old granddaughter to the pumpkin patch today. It's been several years since we'd been to this farm and boy they have added a ton of fun things. We bought the wristbands so you can go to all of the play areas and stuff. We had a blast, we'll be back again! They also had a lot of staff that were all very nice and helpful, many of which are young adults. They also have lots of clean ports-potties, that was nice to see. Great job!

Yelp
Website says free admission. We arrived and were told we had to have tickets and also the police were there to shut them down. Very weird will not go back. Drove an hour because it was highly recommended. Tickets would have cost our family over $100 just to pick pumpkins.

Yelp
So much fun! My friends and I came out here to check out the Fall Festival on opening weekend, and boy, was it crowded. It opened at 10am, and we snagged one of the final parking spots in the first parking lot. The festival had a lot of things for families and groups of friends to enjoy- a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, trampolines for the kids (sorry, no adults allowed, I tried lol), a huge hay pyramid, tractor rides around the farm, a slide/swings, a pig show, lots of apples to choose from, food stands, and a country store. Food-wise, the cider donuts, brisket sandwich, chili Mac and cheese, and apple cider is where it's at! Definitely would come back!

Yelp
We decided to go on Halloween because we're not partying people. We wanted a calm, but fun Halloween. This definitely did the trick! We got to spend a few hours here, eating hot dogs, corn on the cob, caramel apples and apple cider. Prices for food was CHEAP! AMAZING!! We got through the corn maze pretty fast due to a easy to read map. I wish there was a warning about how muddy and flooded the maze was though. We came out with muddy wet feet and it wasn't only us. A lot of people did not wear the correct shoes and it was a lesson learned. I bought rain boots right after we left lol. The pig show was really really boring and it just was 10 pigs running in a circle twice and eating cookies. Lasted like 5 minutes. Was expecting more. The petting zoo was cool but the animals could care less. They slept as we walked through. Lol. Parking was easy and no issues getting in or out. $35 + food wasn't bad. Pumpkins were really expensive! $15 a pumpkin!? No way. It's a one time thing for me though. There's nothing I would come back to see.

Yelp
We love this farm! The corn, apple cider, and cider donuts are delicious! We have gone for pumpkin and apple picking. They have live animals, a duck race, wagon ride, corn maze, a kids play area. The play area requires a paid wrist band but it is worth it if it isn't too packed. We like to go on weekdays and early in the apple picking season when it wasn't too crowded (although there isn't food to purchase during the week day). Lot to see and do -- easily can spend several hours here. There are a ton of bees though so need to be careful about that. Especially with all the sweet apples and cider.

Yelp
This is an incredible pumpkin patch!! There is so much to do: pumpkins, apples, hay ride, playground, trampoline, animals, corn maze, tricycle riding, and did I mention the most delicious apple cider donuts? There are lots of great photo op spots, too. Also, I recommend coming on a weekday. We went on a Thursday and it was pretty busy, so I can only imagine what a weekend day is like.

Yelp
A cute farm for family fun with lots of outdoor activities celebrating fall! We went apple picking and there was also a small pumpkin patch -- overall a great place to spend an afternoon. Masks are required for entry and there were additional things like corn mazes and duck races with a wristband. The apples were $3 per pound, although it's definitely the end of the season. That being said, the ones we got tasted great. They also had the infamous fall food aka apple cider donuts which were also super yummy. A cute spot with fall fun!

Yelp
Very organized, lots to do! Excellent place for families. Easy parking. Perfect half-day trip.

Yelp
Review is strictly regarding the cider donuts! I was craving freshly fried cider donuts like I grew up with in Michigan. It is a fall ritual to get these and I was hard pressed to find anything comparable locally. Luckily they do have them at Swan Trails farms, a little under an hour drive from a seattle outside of Everett. There is an admission only area for animal petting and pig races and things like that you don't need to pay admission if all you want is food. Donuts are a little pricey at two for $3. I like them without the dip in extra sugar and cinnamon and you can request this when you pick up your order. They are nice hot and a little greasy in a good familiar way right out of the fryer. A little more sweet and apple tasting but a good approximation of childhood memories!

Yelp
Really nice, immaculately clean, well set up. Nice staff. Many options as far as things to do. Their apples are amazing. Store has nice products, including jams and pickles and cider. Nice way to spend a day.

Yelp
We hosted my daughters birthday party here this weekend and it was an absolute blast!! Just in regards to visiting in general, they have SO MUCH to do. There are pumpkin patches, a huge corn maze, tractor rides, a cider mill, petting farm, bouncy and play areas galore, food stands, the list goes on! You have to watch the "three little pigs" performance for sure. Our party pack came with 10 free entrance wrist bands for kids and 4 chaperone wrist bands. In addition, 10 kids got to take home their own small pumpkin. There are different size rental areas and we did the smallest (pictured). We only stayed in that area about an hour while family gathered then went to enjoy activities together. One of the favorite birthday parties I have thrown my kiddos to date! The one thing that did not go smoothly for me - the party area is very tucked back and hard to find and several seasonal staff members didn't even know what I was talking about to help direct me when I arrived. Also they didn't have any preferred parking for people using that space and I had to lug bags upon bags of party decor, cake, presents, etc to and from the very distant parking lot. Would have been nice to get an email with better instruction and to have had a close by parking spot included with our reservation.

Yelp
We've been coming here for years but as a parent of a black child- I'm appalled. On 10/8 around 11a the two young men working the roasted corn stand were loudly talking about how Seattle is a "sh*thole" and were saying some really racist and derogatory statements, loudly and in front of myself, the black family behind me and the Asian family also waiting for corn. The black family walked away quickly so their kiddos wouldn't hear what was being said. It was embarrassing and I just don't feel safe bringing my child of color here again if that sort of talk is allowed by staff. We spent about $200 here today... and while there are a lot of good things about this farm, which is why I'm giving two stars, families of color- just be aware.

Yelp
Pretty disappointed. We came to visit from Arizona really looking for a real farm pumpkin picking experience. The pumpkins were already cut off the vine and thrown in the field. Where is the fun in that? That's the same thing they do in Arizona because they have to. It's really expensive too. $15 a person. We had to pay over $100 for my family for admission. It's not worth it. I can see charging for kids because of the activities, but there is no reason to charge for the adults. Unfortunately we didn't get to do everything we paid for namely the hay rises and apple picking. It rained hard (that's not the fault of the farm) but it still left a sour taste in our mouth that we paid for a lot of things we didn't experience. From what I've heard, there are way better farms in the area. Also, the customer service was not good. Overall very disappointed and wouldn't recommend.
