Swansea Beach Chalets

Wonderful location looking over the bay towards Freycinet national park. Well designed, compact and well appointed cabins with a pretty beach below. We even had a view from the shower. The price is a little dear at $300 per night, but a unique experience.

We loved our 2 room chalet. It had the best view over the bay. We had a walk in the beach and relaxed on the balcony talking in the view. Just stunning when the sun set .

We based ourselves here for three nights to explore the area and couldn’t have been happier. Right from the start the staff were super friendly and helpful (especially the resident dog Teddy who loved some attention) Chalet was beautifully clean and amazing location right on the waterfront. All well equiped to make for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend and would stay again

The Chalets were so cleverly decked out. Bedroom was small but had everything you needed. Bathroom had a great shower and heating in the bathroom! The lounge was comfortable and looked out towards the ocean but we didn't pay for one overlooking the beach. Bed was very comfortable and so we had a great sleep there!|The staff were very helpful!|Would highly recommend and would stay again!

Great beach getaway. Perfect location to stay of you are doing the Wineglass Bay Cruise our of Coles Bay. The Bark Mill Tavern is walking distance for a feed or coffee. An easy walk into town along the beach.

2:15 pm, no staff to give keys. Called phone and it rang in the office where my partner was standing. No response from our prior inquiries through booking.com re baby cot and laundry facilities. As a result we had to buy our own portable cot. Tidy park with a beautiful view and nice firepit areas for better weather (our cabin is on the water) but very expensive. $380 on a weeknight for a place with one a/c, WiFi that couldn't load even the ads during a show, and one slippery dip attached to a wooden platform that went nowhere. No other play equipment. Couldn't find ramp access to the beach, either.

We had a fantastic stay at Swansea Beach Chalets! The room was spotless and very well maintained. Though compact, it had everything we needed—including an electric stove, a small fridge, and even a clothing rack, which made unpacking easy. The central heating kept the room warm and cozy, so we never felt cold even on chilly winter nights. The bathroom was also clean with a good flow of hot water, making showers comfortable and relaxing. We especially loved the little living area, which had a comfy two-seat couch and a smart TV (around 30 inches)—perfect for winding down with some Netflix in the evening. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Peaceful, practical, and full of charm. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip!

Stayed for 2 nights wish it was longer! So chilled with the water right in front of the balcony, room was big enough for myself and partner and clean. Easy check in and out. The town was small but few breakfast and dinner spots.
