The Chalets were so cleverly decked out. Bedroom was small but had everything you needed. Bathroom had a great shower and heating in the bathroom! The lounge was comfortable and looked out towards the ocean but we didn't pay for one overlooking the beach. Bed was very comfortable and so we had a great sleep there!|The staff were very helpful!|Would highly recommend and would stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at Swansea Beach Chalets! The room was spotless and very well maintained. Though compact, it had everything we needed—including an electric stove, a small fridge, and even a clothing rack, which made unpacking easy. The central heating kept the room warm and cozy, so we never felt cold even on chilly winter nights. The bathroom was also clean with a good flow of hot water, making showers comfortable and relaxing. We especially loved the little living area, which had a comfy two-seat couch and a smart TV (around 30 inches)—perfect for winding down with some Netflix in the evening. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Peaceful, practical, and full of charm. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip!

We based ourselves here for three nights to explore the area and couldn’t have been happier. Right from the start the staff were super friendly and helpful (especially the resident dog Teddy who loved some attention) Chalet was beautifully clean and amazing location right on the waterfront. All well equiped to make for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend and would stay again

We stayed at this chalet on our way to Hobart and had a great experience. The place was very clean and cozy, perfect for a short stay. It’s a self-contained 2-bedroom chalet that comfortably sleeps four people. The small kitchen was equipped with a fridge, basic kitchenware. The location is excellent, right next to the beach and just a short drive to town. The local IGA convenience store is only 2 minutes away. Highly recommended for a peaceful and convenient stopover!

Stayed for 2 nights wish it was longer! So chilled with the water right in front of the balcony, room was big enough for myself and partner and clean. Easy check in and out. The town was small but few breakfast and dinner spots.

We stayed just the 1 night and loved it here. Cabins are new and have great views. We went for a walk to town and came across a Fur Seal on the rocks near the golf course.

What a hidden gem these Beach Chalets are. We booked a beach front one and the view was just fabulous. I wish our stay had been longer than one night. We woke up to the most spectacular sunrise. The Chalet was super clean and had all the amenities you need. Close by to shops and eateries. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely book a longer stay next time we visit Tassie.

Enjoyed my stay thoroughly. Facilities are clean and well equipped. Chalet’s kitchenette is equipped with sufficient utensils for cooking, which it’s important especially given the lack of dining options in the area. Location is slightly further from the freycinet tracks (about 50 mins drive) but it’s a decent trade off for all that this place offers in value and view. Swansea is also probably a more stocked town compared to the others around. Receptionist was also absolutely helpful and friendly and shared with us her knowledge of the area and things to do. Would definitely book again if I’m in the area. Paid about 150SGD per night for a single cabin chalet, for 2 nights in August.
