On holiday in the US and wanted a yoga fix. I really liked this place. It has a great vibe and the room is nicely appointed. If you like it hot though, they don't hold back. I wasn't prepared for that much heat but it sure was fun. I did a yoga chizle class which was a first for me. Never heard of it before, and for those playing at home it adds a set of hand weights to the process. Punishing and brutal but very satisfying. I'll try and come back before I leave the US. Well done on something special.

Sweat yoga is my second home! I love going in everyday, the staff and instructors are so friendly and inclusive. The studio offers a range of classes so I can choose the level of difficulty I want to challenge myself with. I used to dread working out but now I look forward to it.

Google
great workout, nice dim atmosphere, clean studio... however this is just simply not yoga lol. I am so confused by the serene lighting/atmosphere with such loud and distracting dubstep and r&b music to just pull me right out of being able to concentrate on my breath and body, which is what yoga should be, even if it's a more workout-focused class. I end up feeling more wound up after class here. Also the style of having us memorize complicated flows that seems to be their signature thing takes away from any chance of meditation and any focus on breath and body as well. so that plus the music is just too much. one of the weirdest studios i've experienced and i've been to so many haha

It was my first time attending a class here and it was difficult, but also very rewarding! Elise is a friendly and motivational teacher! I would definitely go back to attend another class with her :)

Great room! Great instructors. Very nice heat! They keep it relatively dark for privacy I imagine. Kind staff and their rentals are high quality and clean.

I’ve been coming here for a while now using classpass, and have been checking out hot yoga places all around LA. This studio is easily in my Top 3 best hot yoga studios. First off, before you even come in you have a parking lot next door, with 2 hr validation from the studio. Next, you come in the door and you’re greeted by the super friendly and helpful staff. You then go to the lockers, where you don’t need a lock, you safely choose a code. The facilities are VERY clean. I’ve never had any issues with filling my bottle before class, there’s always a functioning cooler. The absolute cherry of this place are the classes and instructors. They really encourage you. They really know what they’re doing and you’re immersed in the practice from entering the hot yet clean room until the end when you receive a cold lavender scented towel to top off your practice. If that’s not enough for you, you have a smoothie place across the street and trader joes. All in all 10/10 for me !

Amazing and challenging well structured flow, accompanied by a lovely playlist. Will definitely go back for more of Zara’s classes!!

Google
I was just traveling and spent the last week attending classes here. So clean, friendly and good mix of classes. I honestly enjoyed every single class I attended from Yin yoga more of a workout to a good flow class.

Yelp
Love Sweat Yoga, West Hollywood. I was not used to hit room but wanted to try. I so appreciated that the teachers let me go at my own pace until I got use to the heat. The front desk staff are always wonderful. Greeted with a smile, available for any questions that might come up. The manager is always on top of everything.

Yelp
My last review was removed because it apparently violated guidelines so let me repost and clean it up. --- here was my experience without describing or attaching photos of the culprit ~ I'm approaching the studio I was not aware of the hours & just wanted to purchase another yoga mat for home use. I frequently take classes here and already have a mat to bring and just wanted a new one for the new year. She's hastily approaching the studio with an attitude & snaps at me "we're closed" while shaking her head. I was very confused by the energy / attitude that was being taken because I hadn't even had the opportunity to say anything or even ask when they'd be open again. She then leaves the studio and I tell her how unnecessary her attitude was & that I go here and just wanted to purchase a mat and she did not have to speak to me that way. She then proceeds to accuse ME of having an attitude and tells me "have a nice life" and speeds off. I'm extremely confused by this interaction and it really ruined my mood. I reached out directly to sweatyoga and they are making things right but that does not take away from the experience I had putting a sour taste in my mouth.

Yelp
Absolutely love this studio! Front desk is super friendly and helpful. Lockers is a huge plus. Vinyasa class was fantastic, not overcrowded and really great work out and vibe!

Yelp
Updated review. So I did initially enjoy the sweating bit and I like the location but the classes themselves left me wanting more. More... yogic vibe. The flows often felt choppy and in one yin class - there was a ton of joking around. I felt like I was at a club hanging out. Fun and all, sure, but not if you're looking for a meditative yin experience. I canceled my membership. But if sweating is your main goal - you might enjoy it.

Yelp
Loved my classes! My sweat chizzle and sweat flow was amazing! I did the 10days for $10 at the WEHO location. But, they have a $30 for all locations as well. The perk was the cold lavender towel at the end.

Yelp
I joined Sweat in December 2023 and loved it from my very first class. I'm a big fan of the Flow classes with Ryan and Vera and any class that Gabby teaches, and I cherish Yin with Demi and Becky. And the monthly workshops are a nice way to try something different. The managerial and front desk staff at this studio are really kind and attentive. The space is small in an intimate way. The bathrooms are clean and have lockers for storage. There are mats and towels for rent, and as a special bonus you receive a complimentary cold lavender face towel at the end of every class (usually placed on your mat during shavasana). Parking can be found at meters on Santa Monica or the side streets (depends on time of day) and there is a paid lot right next to the studio for just a few dollars. And as long as there's room for it, you can bring a bike into the lobby/waiting area.

Yelp
3 years ago I started coming here after a break up. I pretty much kept to myself until just recently I started coming out of my shell and feeling like myself again. The Infrared is incredible. It's the only way to do hot yoga. The staff is just lovely. Not only does my body look better than it ever has, I owe it all to CHRIS. His class was the first one I ever took, and I stuck to it.. His chizles, his booty camps, his everything's, he made the classes what they are and gave me results, and myself again. I just learned he's leaving and I'm going to miss him deeply. You have no idea how grateful I am for you and to have discovered your music recently as well.. such a talented man. "Too Close" is such a hit!!! I'll always have your songs! Much love and appreciation!

Yelp
Took a few classes here via the $30 10-day unlimited yoga special. The space is pristine and they have top-notch props, but I did not enjoy the classes at all - I've done plenty of hot yoga classes in my lifetime but those were some bizarro world sequences. Also fyi: the sign on the door reads "2 hour parking validation" - which is very misleading, you still have to pay $2.75.

Yelp
I have been enjoying going to this yoga studio quite some times now! Especially this winter when the weather is cold and raining, I really don't want to go to the gym. This sweat yoga studio is warm and calm where you can do yoga and meditate. This yoga studio saved my workout routine! The instructors are amazing and studio is clean and welcoming. I find the flow of their movements is intuitive and easy to flow. I practiced yoga many years ago but then stopped. With their help, I got right back where I left off! I like my routine these days: evening classes where you can sweat and yoga - go home to shower right after - then sleep.

Yelp
Sweat yoga is a clean yoga studio but it is way too hot. I went to one class and there was a young lady with Autism. She told me that she needed to leave the class because it was too hot. I mentioned it to the instructor at the end of the class and she she that the manager of the West Hollywood studio didn't allow anyone to turn the heat down because their philosophy was to push through the heat and the pain. How is someone with real neurological symptoms supposed to push through the heat and pain? It would be causing more nerve and brain damage. I just don't agree and think that they should consider turning the temp down. Our bodies already run at a hot temperature. Hot yoga is great just not at Sweat Yoga studios.

J B.

Yelp
Sweat yoga was amazing. While I've done yoga at many studios from Corepower to Hot 8, and dare I day equinox ().. sweat yoga was by far the best. The studio was HOT, clean l, and inviting. Stephanie was our master yogi and boy was she phenomenal. Music was on point and she led the class masterfully with attention to each of us. She really made our first time feel like a familiar place. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
PROS - they offer the best deal I've seen for new students: unlimited classes for 10 days for only $30!!! - the studio itself is really cool! It this industrial feel with a big brick wall, has multiple light settings, vibey music, and it's actually HOT! make sure you bring cold water with you - the instructor passes out cold, wet towels to cool off at the end of class. It feels so nice! - they have showers on-site and have mats available to rent CONS - most of the lockers in the women's bathroom do not work and they are right in the entrance which makes it hard to get to with people going in and out - their concept is unique in that the instructor will take you through 3 flows and during each flow they leave you on your own to kind of do your own thing with it. While I'm sure there's people that like this approach, I prefer a guided class. I like to just turn my brain off and let the instructor guide me throughout all the movements. I know Sweat does offer a guided class but the availability is extremely limited. I found myself getting frustrated when we'd do a flow once and be expected to remember it and do it on our own. I did three classes hoping I'd get used to this whole concept but unfortunately it's not for me - With that, I always appreciate when instructors walk around to help fix your pose/ offer adjustments yet there is none of that here. - after the three flows, they have two more sections: abs ( which only last a couple mins) and then holding poses for a longer period of time. For me, yoga is all about flowing so this feels too structured...just not my thing

Yelp
This place, I don't want go back again ever! My friend just got Covid, she does not know she has Covid when she booked class. She take responsible do not come to the studio. when she got her test result, first thing, she called this studio to cancel her next class. But studio said they will cost her $20 for late cancellation, they balm her if feel sick should not book the class, she said, she does not have symptom, she has no idea she has Covid. She asked how could she save the $20? Then, studio said, that up to you, you can come save $20 or pay $20 for late cancelation. Wtf, it's unbelievable!

Yelp
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. First time me and my sister arrive and we are not let for being 6 minutes late. The manager said she has a 7 minute policy IT WAS 6 MINUTES Getting off work and then finding out 5 mile drive was 20 minutes made us late and she didn't even want to hear it. The class instructor himself came out and said we can let you guys in but she looked at him and said no go back inside. Ridiculous Talk about zen.

Yelp
I recently had a bad customer service experience with an employee at Sweat Yoga WeHo prior to ever trying to the studio. I wrote a review and shared this directly with the studio as well and Tom (studio owner) reached out to remedy the situation. I just took my first class at the studio and was greeted by Savannah (studio manager) and took a sculpt class with Riley, who did a great job. I appreciate the expediency in Tom for trying to make the best of a bad situation and for a lovely and challenging first experience at the studio. I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
I don't typically take the time to write a review. BUT, Sweat Yoga in West Hollywood has impressed me so consistently, I feel the need to share my gratitude. Sweat Yoga in WeHo is an incredible space, with great teachers and courses. It has become a weekly ritual for my physical and mental stability. This incredible Yoga Studio has honestly raised my bar for the ultimate yoga and body connection experience. The value and talent that the instructors place in every class and experience surpasses any other studio I have visited in the city. I personally recommend asking their team for recommendations of the best yoga plan based on your level and commitment. That's what I did and it has made all the difference. On a final note, the main reason why I love Sweat Yoga in WeHo is because I see results in my body and mind. Sweat Yoga puts in all the work and effort it takes to curate the top quality yoga experience. ‍

Yelp
I really enjoyed my time here! The yoga studio was super welcoming, informative and fun! The classes are great full body workouts, the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and detailed with instruction, and most importantly, they were all very encouraging. As a beginner to yoga, it was the perfect experience for me. Out of the several studios I've been to, the teachers here are some of the best and the classes were the funnest. I would absolutely recommend!

Yelp
My first class at this studio was great! The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, they gave me a quick tour and made sure I had everything I needed. Besides the room being HOT just how I like, the free flow style was so my favorite part of class and challenged me both body and mind. I will definitely be back.

Sabrina M.

Yelp
Good class, not so good management Upon walking into the women's locker room at this facility, I slipped and fell and badly bruised my knee, shin, and foot as a result of large pools of water on the floor that had not been cleaned up. As a gesture of kindness I decided to inform the instructor before class and management over email of this safety hazard since many of the class attendees are elderly and would be severely injured. In response, rather than respond to my email, an employee at this facility called me and interrogated me as to the legitimacy of my injury, clearly in an effort to avoid a lawsuit. Not once did they ask if I was okay and proceeded to question how I was able to complete the class if I was injured. I had informed the instructor prior to class about the puddles and the woman on the phone later acknowledged that she had spoken to the instructor, which I found odd as she had questioned this earlier. Needless to say, I am incredibly disappointed in the management at this facility as they were more concerned with avoiding a lawsuit over the safety and well-being of their students. I advise others to avoid this facility.

Jessica C.

Yelp
Best yoga studio with amazing facilities and a very warm and welcoming community. Highly recommend!

Gina D.

Yelp
Love this space! Everyone from the desk staff to the teachers makes you feel super comfortable and ready to work! Chizle classes are my personal fav, but always know I'm in for a great workout with a flow too! Recommend this studio for anyone, all levels!

Yelp
Amazing today studio. Wonderful customer service and teachers, clean beautiful studio and fabulous classes. I will definitely come back and will get a membership!

Yelp
Sometimes in life you come across a special place, moment, or person that changes your life for the better. That is exactly what Sweat Yoga has done for me. I am deeply grateful for this studio and the depth of community it has provided. Everything yoga teaches us about peaceful, loving hearts are guided by the hearts of courage that is Sweat Yoga. If you're looking for a welcoming and lovely home, this is it. If you're looking for a place to find your inner-strength and power, this is it. If you're looking for a challenging flow that allows you to sharpen your mind and cultivate a strong body, this is it. My gratitude is so pure for Sweat Yoga and the people that make this studio a community. I hope you come and allow yourself to experience this great gift that will grow your heart and lead you to finding true peace.

Michael S.

Yelp
This place is the best!!! I'm not the world's biggest yogi, but I've tried a lot of different studios throughout LA and the Sweat studio in WeHo is without a doubt the best of the bunch. They offer a great variety of class options and formats (not just traditional yoga) and cater to a wide range of skill sets, including mine. I started with their beginner, or 'Essentials,' class, just to be safe, but still found it both challenging and fun. I soon branched out to other formats like Flow Burn, which I could describe as their version of hot yoga - though that doesn't quite do it justice, since I've never experienced anything like it at another studio. There are almost too many different kinds of classes to name here, but of the ones I've tried, Ignite and Chizzle (their take on yoga sculpt) are my outstanding favorites. Yin, which is on the opposite end of the spectrum and more focused on stretching and centering, is equally phenomenal. Though the classes are all well-structured, there is also a freedom of expression I found particularly refreshing. My favorite part is the short 'free flow' or 'free form' period in each class when the instructor simply lets the music play and allows you to find your own flow. And let's not forget the space! The room in which we practice is gorgeous, with exposed brick and soft lighting. The showers and locker rooms are always pristine and the little lobby is tidy and welcoming. The instructors are all so wonderful - I never feel pushed beyond my abilities or judged for my limitations, but always leave feeling refreshed and energized. I've even made some amazing new friends since I started taking classes here! Again, can't recommend highly enough. Tens across the board!!

Angel R.

Yelp
I have been coming to the West Hollywood studio for about 3 months now and will continue to come for as long as I live in LA! Every instructor is incredible and the studio itself is such a vibe. My favorite class is chizle which I highly recommend if you're looking for a challenge. The lavender towels passed out at the end of class are always a plus too :)

Kristina A.

Yelp
I like the studio. The vibes are pretty friendly, but be careful about being overcharged. I don't think they mean for this to happen but it is an oversight. I would book the class through their app and it also allows you to pre-pay and rent towels, mats, water, etc. But then when I'd come into the studio to check in and say "I need a mat, towel, water that I'm pretty sure I've pre-paid for in the app" they say "ok" and that's that. But on several occasions whether they heard me or not, they proceeded to charge my account again for those items. So I would see on my credit card statement like 2 or 3 $6 charges for a single class at Sweat. Thankfully I caught it or it would have been an on-going thing. Hopefully they get better about checking to see if an account checking in has pre-purchased a rental. The refund wasn't quite accurate I don't think, but I'm over it. Mat + Towel rental $6 Small water $2 Large water $4 (Bring your own water or go to sprouts next door) Parking $2.50 (i think) for 2 hours with validation @ the studio. Single class $30

Yelp
They're a pretty awesome community. Just don't smoke outside when/if they're ever having an outdoor class again lol.

Kaliegh R.

Yelp
I absolutely loved my experience at Sweat Yoga! I took a class this morning and it was the best way to start my day. The studio was super clean, the front desk staff was super friendly, and my teacher was just great. I've recommended all my friends to check out this studio. Best hot yoga experience I've had in LA!!

Angie T.

Yelp
Love this studio so much! I always have the best experience when I come here. From the teachers to the friendly staff coming here makes my day. Definitely going to be back and I would recommend this studio to all my friends! Such a fun class with great music!

Magüis S.

Yelp
I love this studio. One of my favorite in LA and have tried all of them. They have amazing classes and teachers. My favorite is David as his music and energy is great. I like hot classes and some teachers don't usually put all the heat. Everyone is very friendly there :)

Hallie P.

Yelp
Great studio. Clean, awesome staff and teachers. Highly recommend if you're in the Weho area!

Carine N.

Yelp
Just went to my first class! It was such a great sweat! So glad I was able to exercise without a mask. Mask is still required when entering and exiting. The space is beautiful and spacious. Also Brooke and front desk are so friendly! I can't wait to come back and get my sweat on!

Apollonia D.

Yelp
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

Cindy R.

Yelp
I absolutely love sweat yoga, especially the sweat chizle class. The music and the energy is always great. Excellent workout.

Bridget Q.

Yelp
This is a new and improved review! After having a not great experience over the phone and emailing about my concern, the owner Tom personally reached out and helped remedy the situation. He was extremely understanding and attentive. I've now taken two classes at the WeHo studio and can confidently say it is a super lovely space to practice yoga. Everyone at the studio has been extremely nice and both classes that I took (sculpt and flow) were amazing. I will definitely be continuing yoga here!

Frank D.

Yelp
Great studio! Front desk girls were super helpful, offered mat & towel rentals $3. Class was great & challenging - I'm a newer yogi and felt super comfortable in class. I'll definitely be back!

Sydney R.

Yelp
The customer service is bad. They don't respond to emails and are short and curt when they do. Also, the classes make you want to pass out. They're too hot even for hot yoga and they have you doing some wild poses in the first flow. I'm good at yoga and have always enjoyed it but they make the experience semi-miserable. The instructors are also not great. One got upset with me for doing my own rendition of "bicycles" and called me out in front of the class in a passive aggressive way. Don't recommend this place, there are way better hot yoga spots in WeHo.
google avatar

Alia L.

Yelp
Just took my first class here this morning and it was amazing. This was actually my first hot yoga class so I had no idea what it would be like. I took the flow class and lived that it was a moderate speed and that we had the opportunity to briefly flow on our own at the end of each flow. Burned as many calories as Barry's! Can't wait to go back. Sweat is a great addition to my neighborhood!

Hallie P.

Yelp
Met Sweat Yoga at their SM studio 3 years ago. Was a regular there until the pandemic happened. In the interim I moved to West Hollywood and started attending Sweat WEHO about 4 months ago. Love the format of their classes, the quality of their instructors, the infrared heat and overall it's just a really good experience. Their classes have managed to still feel like yoga but with a modern twist. Love these guys!

Dylan C.

Yelp
I have been coming to Sweat Yoga West Hollywood for almost a year now and I absolutely love it! The studio is spacious, comfortable and very clean. The staff are friendly, talented and offer a range of classes that anyone from beginners to experienced yogis can take. The locker rooms are squeaky clean and provide a space to shower, change and store your personal belongs inside the lockers while you are taking the class. Parking is easy and convenient and I love that it is next to a couple markets for a post class snack. I would 10/10 recommend this studio to anyone who is interested and looking for a great sweat. I take Olivia's Tuesday sweat chisel class and it is the highlight of my week! Lastly, the cool, lavender towel given before Savasana will change your life.

Nancy N.

Yelp
Want to acknowledge Sweat WeHo. great teachers, friendly staff, beautiful clean studio. Their infrared system to heat the yoga room is really great and great for the heat and wellness infrareds are known for. I have been to many yoga studios over the years, love what they are doing there. Big call out to Chris, their lead instructor.

Shannon Y.

Yelp
Sweat WeHo is my favorite yoga studio EVER! Theyare truly have all the best in all classes they provide. The staff was so sweet, welcoming and knowledgeable. All classes are perfect and there are a variety you can take. A few days ago my husband and I took the studio's "on-ramp" class for beginners which are called Essentials. I took some classes over the past few weeks before jumping into some of the other classes at the studio too. Anyway it has been an amazing experience and I'm addicted now lol I do have to add that having "free flows" are great and their Chizle and Yin classes are my favorite I think. Their yoga room itself is gorgeous, clean locker rooms, showers, and a retail area in the lobby with clothing ( which came in handy for me when I forgot my workout clothes at home).

Kate A.

Yelp
This studio is extremely dirty. Would not recommend this studio if you're planning on using the bathrooms or showers.

Yelp
Sweat Yoga in WEHO opened in August 2020, and I cannot say enough good things about this place. I attended their Grand Opening where the owner led the outdoor class and had great live music during class. He started class giving everyone a little insight to the challenges Sweat Yoga has faced opening the WeHo location during a pandemic. All classes are held outside on the top of the parking garage which they have transformed into a pretty nice outdoor space with shade, a teaching stage, and extra flooring for safety. Apparently they had complaints of noise, so now silent disco headphones are used for class (which is better than I thought they would be). I have attended at least a few classes per week, and every experience has been great! Instructors are encouraging, knowledgeable and the format of the studio is partially guided, then time for "free flow". I have also attended classes in Playa Vista and Santa Monica (pre covid) and they also have been great experiences. Each facility is done very well, modern and clean. I don't write reviews often, but this business deserves to be recognized for their service, efforts and tenacity!

Kelly S.

Yelp
I really really love this studio, all the classes and instructors are great!!! I really wish they had earlier morning classes though, earliest start at 7 am which is tough for my hr morning commute. If they had early mornings I would definitely sign up for monthly membership! For now I'll just keep popping in on weekends!

A S.

Yelp
2 words-- Amazing, and refreshing! My WHY? I'm a fitness professional with 20 years of teaching experience between boxing, barre, Pilates, yoga and dance- who cares, my point though... I have high expectations for where I choose to train, and Sweat Yoga just gets it! Brining a beautiful blend of real traditional Yoga mixed with a modern day vibe, the energy, lighting, music and overall welcome at every location is the same- harmonious! Everyone is super friendly, and it goes to show that I'm not surprised they have multiple locations here in LA, and are on the road to open more! If you're looking for a great workout and/or a new home studio, look no more! Sweat Yoga offers authentic, connected, and incredible workouts that offer so much more than just the sweat, better yet a connection from within and throughout its community! Keep thriving Sweat Yoga, I see you and what you've created is magnificent-- thank you!!

Miss L.

Yelp
Chris the instructor. Great. Management. Trash. First of all I signed up for a five day pass and only when I called did an employee tell me they refunded me. I wasn't notified at all. That I didn't have a 5 day pass. It's a joke how it's run over in weho but the classes are great so I can't join because the customer service but may go to another location.

Leslie H.

Yelp
Love the classes here but the customer service is awful. Called and spoke with "Brina" at the front desk and she wouldn't let me speak with the manager, wouldn't help solve the issues with their system and hung up on me. She directed me to a customer service number for mindbody versus actually finding a solution. Told me she was able to Google the number in an attempt to make feel worse for calling for help.
