Swede Hollow

I had an excellent experience at Swede Hollow! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive, and the staff really made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting perfect for any occasion! Overall this place was a gem and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

I walked in with the intention of ordering the same food as I was "ok" dining place through pictures from google posts. They had none, possibly a change of chief... a bit disappointed. Then when the food got brought up, and you had a taste of it... You never think of food the same way. Not like i haven't went to other fancy restaurants in all countries... But... Anyway, if you decided to come and saw that what i posted is no longer available, don't be too surprised. Just ask nicely of what is recommended, and hope you have fun!

Fantastic food! Came here as I lived in the hotel and did not want to go far. Food was unexpectedly tasty!! Servers friendly as well. Hidden gem.

Fantastic dining experience from start to finish! Incredible meal, drinks and service!! Dessert was the ice cream explosion - pick 2 flavors and they bring the topping cart over to you. We also had the frozen cheesecake peach melba. Delicious! For dinner - the French chicken with golden potatoes and fried corn and peppers, and the cod and chips with carrot and radish salad. Appetizers were the fried corn with parmesan and bread basket. We had 3 rounds of different cocktails. Everything was 10 out of 10, and that chicken was the most delicious chicken dish I've ever tasted. Service was top-notch, very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Food was soooo good!! We ordered the ovenbaked char (salmon) and a pork belly dish to share. Both dishes were delicious. The salmon tasted very fresh with a good sauce. The pork belly was very soft and the kale topped on it was very good. Prices are above 200kr but very worth it if you’re dining there with the Ice Bar combo.

We spent ages trying to find a “husmanskost” restaurant that had both meat and vegetarian or vegan options. Finally we found Swede Hollow but our hopes were not high because it was a hotel restaurant. Luckily they proved us wrong. The food was ah-MA-ZING. My veg kålpudding was mouthwatering, and the meateater i was with enjoyed her meatballs. We were both very satisfied.

Food is bad. Small portion and taste like microwave food. Even the hard beard they served tasted like sand paper. I usually really enjoy hard breads. Really no reason to visit. The staff were friendly tho.

We reserved a table at Swede Hollow as a package with the Icebar where we learned the inspiration behind the name. The didn't have the appetizer we initially ordered, but the recommended substitute of roe, cheese, and souffle did not disappoint. My entree of meatballs was delicious and generously portioned. The loosely deconstructed apple pie with punsch ice cream was a real treat!
