Sweet Bliss is a true gem in Leslieville! Their baked goods are fresh, flavorful, and made with love. Pair anything with their drinks (especially the coffee!) and you’ve got the perfect treat. Cozy vibe, friendly staff—can’t recommend it enough!

Google
Best scones in the city, period. They are slightly crisped on the outside, buttery soft and chewy on the inside, with an added glaze on top to make this a blissfully sweet treat. Absolutely perfect.

Jordan

Google
Gingerbread scone is my favorite flavor here, I especially love the glaze they put on their scones. Unfortunately they don’t have many flavor options but I’ve never been disappointed Super moist, fresh, and flavorful. Only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the cinnamon roll, it was super dry, not enough cinnamon, and too little icing that wasn’t gooey enough.

Amrita Mathur

Google
Love love love this place! Wish they would bring back the cranberry white chocolate shortbread as a staple through the winter Scones are amazing, cookies are amazing, cupcakes are delicious, and such good matcha iced latte and other drinks in the summer! One of THE best bakeries in Toronto hands down! Always high quality, always fresh I have never been disappointed buying from here ( except when they run out )

Google
Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts! Sweet Bliss has the quintessential scone to start your morning or an after meal treat, with a rotating selection of flavour like a festive gingerbread and a classic blueberry. Moist and airy with a subtle buttery taste and a sweet bite.

I found my new favourite scone place! I was happy to see that they have a small window so we could make purchases from outside while in lockdown. Highly recommend! :)

Google
Visited for the first time on Sunday after seeing reviews online about their scones and cinnamon bun. The hype is real, their scones are delicious. Perfect balance of crispy outside/crust and slightly moist yet still scone like on the inside with excellent flavour and good size. On Sunday is was raspberry jam with orange maple glaze. A friend gifted my cupcakes for my birthday last year which were great too.

The chocolate scones are so good and light. I enjoyed every bite. I definitely will be going there when I'm in the city.

Yelp
(score should be 4.5) We were visiting friends in Leslieville and they pointed this little whole in the wall bakery that had "very limited hours" and was always crazy busy... Well it rained the next morning and we got lucky I guess, they were both open and no one was waiting to order in front of us. As we stopped and were looking at the menu, trying to decide which goody to try, a lady told me that we had to try the scones, she said we couldn't go wrong, but the scones were her fav. So.. we did scone of the day (raspberries), a lemon square and a cinnamon bun. I also had an espresso and my partner a cafe latte. Coffee was 5/5, and the sweets were truly fresh, made with passion (you could taste it, haha). I give it 4/5 while my partner 5/5... They lost 1 star from me as it was on the "too sweet" side. Don't get me wrong, we shared with our friends and the 4 of us wolfed it all down in a matter of minutes... I just wish it was a tad less sweet. Would definitely go back... And yes, the stranger on the street was right...the scones were to die for!

Yelp
I love everything they make here. It's just a walk up window and pretty modest looking really but every sweet is insane quality and the spanakopita I had today was excellent too. Not greasy at all, Amen! There hours are a little unusual so when I would crave a treat during my pregnancies often I'd just missed their open hours so definitely plan ahead.

Yelp
Hey Sweet Bliss, we have to talk. Those cinnamon buns you sold us are clearly broken. I mean sure, we spent much of the week dreaming of them. Visualizing them. Hearing them speak to us with their delicate voices. Trying our hardest to recreate that gentle sweetness through any means necessary. You know that we always salivate in anticipation waiting for the weekend. Those two special days when they magically appear. And sure. We wake up as early as possible and rush down the street to your lovely storefront with the hopes of grabbing them before they sell out. Which they always do. Those grumbles of "best in the city" seem to be catching on. But whatever. These ones today. Yeah. They were clearly broken. We are certain of this. We even ate all six just to make sure. We ensured that they were all consumed warm, right out of the oven. We checked each one. To make sure they weren't tampered with or poisoned. But yes. They were broken. They just didn't work. Can you please replace?

Sandy C.

Yelp
I've only had their scones, but they are absolutely divine! It's a walkup window, service is quick and friendly. I try to go as often as I can

Yelp
Why do I have to make decisions all the time?! What flavours? My head started spinning when the nice lady start going over all the flavours of cupcakes at Sweet Bliss with me... I almost want her to repeat their offerings again............. So now down to the question of what if I only picked one, which one would that be.......... Red Velvet Cupcake ($2.50) was recommended to be as the one to have......... Yes it was good......... moist...........soft..............fluffy.........and sizable........... and I went Mmmmmm with frosting all over my face! Now I am in sugar coma.....................

Yelp
A good find in this area. This place has its work cut out for it as Bobbette is almost across the street. I am not a fan of Bobbette so will try another spot in this area if I can. They advertise most of the items as organic and it shows in the products. On the spot I tried a cup cake with lemon curd. As the take away wild blue berry scone. Cinnamon roll and dessert called blonde (bread with caramel). Scone was really good. other two items were OK with the caramel item being overly sweet (what else does one expect from caramel) I will be back again to try the shortbread and other desserts.

Yelp
Wow, I can't say enough about this place, the coffee is excellent, staff friendly, and their butter tarts are absolutely amazing! Who knew they were in my hood!

Yelp
My fiancé and I discovered Sweet Bliss back when designer cupcakes were all the rage. I was on a mission to find the perfect cupcake. Sweet Bliss is owned by a lovely couple. Their little bakery is adorned with rustic decoration that is reminiscent of a cozy little cottage. You can pick up Mennonite made pickles and jams, coffee beans, amongst a few other goodies. I've tried a number of their cupcakes and they're all delicious. Chocolate with chocolate buttercream icing, vanilla with coconut buttercream frosting, lemon.... Every cupcake I've had here has always been deliciously moist and dense. You can taste the butter in the buttercream, so you know it's good. My favourite cupcake by far is their red velvet with cream cheese icing. Possibly the best cupcake I've ever had in my life. Ever. I've also had their blueberry pie, scones, spinach pie, and butter tart. All are amazing as well. Their spinach pie is stuffed with spinach and oh so flaky. All their pastries are made with organic flour. My fiancé says that Sweet Bliss also makes the best lattes in the city. All he talks about in the mornings is how he can't wait for his Sweet Bliss latte. They remember exactly how he likes his latte every time he comes in, which is a nice touch. We've gotten to know the couple who owns Sweet Bliss over the years and they are so... sweet! Needless to say, my search for the perfect cupcake stopped when I sunk my teeth into their cupcakes. Fun fact: my fiancé designed their website and business card :)

Yelp
T'was a fine Saturday afternoon and I decided to head downtown to satisfy my sudden craving for sweets.. who am I kidding? I -always- have a craving for sweets. I had read rave reviews about their cinnamon buns, so I decided to go for it. And somehow...a carrot cake and blondie bar snuck into my box of goodies.... Suprisingly, the carrot cupcake was dry and the icing didn't have enough of a cream cheese taste, which was prettty dissapointing since carrot I tried it before. BUT fear not, I was saved by the other two. While I was down there, I ordered a cinnamon bun, blondie bar and a carrot cupcake. Man, the cinnamon bun had just enough sweetness! I'm not gonna lie, when I first looked at their buns, I was hesitant because it had no icing sugar on it... but man, the brown sugary coating on top was perfect! It paired well with the latte I was drinking later. As for the blondie bar....goddamn. This stuff is CAPITAL A-mazing. The perfectly golden brown bed of toasted marshmellows and chocolate chips coating the chewy brownie bar was to die for. I went back on Sunday for another. I'M A FATASS, SO WHAT?! But man, trust me, they are really good. By far, it's my favorite brownie bar. No, in fact, I'd say their blondie bar is my favorite thing from this bakery! Go try it. Now.

Yelp
I have crossed half the city by streetcar just to satisfy my cravings for Sweet Bliss' cupcakes. The icing has the perfect texture, thick and sugary but yielding, while the cake is light and flavourful. The chocolate ones are particularly devastating. Various other baked goods are also available (larger cakes, loaves, pies and so forth).

Yelp
Sweet bliss? What an aptly named shop, because that's what these cupcakes are: sweet, sweet bliss. I wandered by here one day strolling the streets of Queen East and boy, I am soooo so glad I decided to pop on in. While Sweet Bliss is quite small, it is packed full of delicious, sugary goodness. There is a wall of honey and preserves if you're looking to buy anything like that, but up front is where the stars of the shop are: the cupcakes!! Being super indecisive about what I wanted to try I decided to go with old faithful: Red Velvet. A simple cupcake but a good way to judge the quality of the shop. Wow. I was NOT disappointed. A sizable cupcake with a good amount of frosting. The cupcake was the most moist and delicious cupcake I have ever had the pleasure of consuming. The frosting was delicious and that perfect balance of being sweet but not TOO sweet. Sometimes I'm a bit weary of buying cupcakes near the end of the day because the cake gets dry and they aren't as fresh, but these were soooo moist it was like they were just baked on the spot seconds ago. My boyfriend even raved about them and he is picky as picky gets. I feel like these are the type of cupcakes where you could get a dozen and not worry about them getting too stale before you have a chance to eat them all. I also had a butter tart square which was good, but I felt like it needed more butter tart filling and less tart. Regardless, it was good. It didn't blow my mind like the cupcake did, though! Note: no seating on the inside, so you'll have to take your sweets to go. Overall, a solid 4.5/5. I can't wait to come back and devour more cupcakes. For me, they have set the bar for any other cupcake I will ever eat. They also had ridiculously delicious and fluffy looking whoopee pies with marshmallow buttercream - excited to try those, too!

Yelp
YUM YUM YUM! I always find goodies here. They're not typically things I'd be attracted to (sweet & doughy type-things) but they're always so good. Expect to find a traditional mix of baked goods. Think: cinnamon buns, danish's, cookies, tarts, pieces of pie, shortcake cookies .. or you can head to the fridge, and pick out a cupcake. I'm NOT a cupcake fan, but these, my friend, are kinda amazing. It's a low key bakery, and they let you look and pick with ease. Gotta love these small town feeling places ... not pretentious and not packed of people.
google avatar

Yelp
There is warmy cozy thingy going in the place. Friendly staff... They satisfy my cupcake cravings.

Yelp
Super cute and friendly bakery. Literally around the corner from where I live, which has been kind of deadly :) favourite goodies: cupcakes, apple scone, gingerbread cookies, lemon squares and their whoopie pies (haven't seen them in quite awhile. hope they're coming back) they also served good lattes and americanos the couple who own it are super friendly. they make each visit enjoyable.

Yelp
My Sunday morning tradition: -sleep in -walk to Sweet Bliss -order a coffee and a cinnamon bun, sometimes two (don't judge me, asshole) -walk back to my place -heat the cinnamon bun in the microwave for exactly 23 seconds (no more, no less) -savour it's sugary goodness Okthanksbye!

Yelp
I have a soft spot in my heart for Sweet Bliss Baking Company. I've frequented this little cavity-inducing hot spot since they opened several years ago. In my opinion, their cupcakes blow Magnolia's out of the water, but to me their specialty is their cinnamon buns! It's truly one of the best bakery-bought cinnamon buns I've ever tasted. It's sweet, but not too gooey (I hate when the moisture of the bun ruins the bread), chewy, buttery and not too big. Some people might like over-sized buns, but I don't. To me it's not a value/bang-for-your-buck kind of thing, but rather a ratio bread to filling thing. And Sweet Bliss gets this right almost every time. They only serve these sweet delights on the weekend, so come early because they run out quickly! I've tried lots of other items, too. Once in a while they make whoopie pies (basically a homemade oreo). YUMMMM! I predict that this might become the craze! My friend swears by their lemon squares and buys them all the time to take back to her mom in Pickering. The front of the bakery is filled with goodies like banana bread and other loaves, coffee, granola (quite possibly the best granola in Toronto, btw), dried flowers, preserves and little décor items. But what makes me go back to Sweet Bliss time and time again is the owners. They are so nice and they make me feel like I'm supporting a great neighbourhood institution. p.s. the only thing I don't like about Sweet Bliss is their recently redesigned logo and signage.... it kind of looks like clip art to me. Does anyone else have thoughts on that?

Yelp
Let me illustrate the obsession that I have developed with this place since discovery. Being the dessert-fiend that I am, it was of utmost importance that I find the best bakery shop in the city. Because of fabulousness of Yelp - this mission is now complete. I make it a point every Friday to leave work slightly early in order to be able to snag one of these pieces of baked deliciousness and celebrate the end of yet another work-week. I have to say that the carrot cupcake is out of this world. The icing is not sickly-sweet and the cupcake is fresh, moist and full of flavour. We picked up one of the freshly-baked pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving, and unsurprisingly, was not disappointed. I think it's safe to say that I will be maintaining this tradition for quite some time... let's hope my dress size maintains too.

Yelp
Sweet Bliss makes amazingly good Coconut Creme Pie. I mean, it's so good you (as in me) may be caught raiding the fridge in the middle of the night armed with only a fork and an insatiable craving for coconut. Crust? Flaky and buttery Coconut custard? Creamy and coconut-y Whipped cream? Abundant and not too sweet SB also has cookies, cupcakes, loaves, tarts, macaroons and such. They're all good - some more than others. I'd pass on the cookies and loaves but definitely go for the cupcakes, macaroons and tarts. It's a small place so there's nowhere to sit. They've got lots of tchotchkes scattered amidst the food tables. They also sell coffee (Kicking Horse) by the pound. I do wish they had more cake selection. It's a little hit and miss when you go but it's more hits than misses. But as long as they have Coconut Creme Pie, they've got me.

Yelp
If I could package a smell from any place in Toronto, this might be the one I'd choose. (Least likely candidate: Dundas/Spadina, but I digress). Cinnamon buns are delicious, just the right amount of sugar, not gooped with icing like those chain places you find in a mall, and the cupcakes have an almost shortbread-like flavour to them. Homemade granola is also very good. Owners are always gracious, friendly. Stopping in here at least once per weekend is pretty much a weekend ritual that I must observe. Highly recommend.

Yelp
On an early Saturday morning, noticed that Sweet Bliss had a lot of traffic in the store, which peaked my curiosity. The store is adorable, with lots of freshly baked goods to choose from: cupcakes, butter tarts, cinnamon rolls, biscotti, jams/spreads, and freshly ground coffee. At $2.50 a piece, the cupcakes are moist and flavourful, with a good dose of icing for those sweet tooth lovers. Favourites were the carrot and coconut vanilla. The lady mentioned the are only open Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Will definitely be back to try the cinnamon rolls!
google avatar

Marlie M.

Yelp
The final place I had on my "Must-Try-Cupcakes-Here" list and Sweet Bliss didn't disappoint. The selection of baked goods was excellent and it smelled amazing in the shop. I chose three flavours to try: Red Velvet, Vanilla (with pink frosting!), and -- wait for it -- Whoopie! Although I'm not a huge fan of cake that's been refrigerated (that means "day old" to me), the "thawed" cupcakes were delectable. I'm one of those frosting lovers who likes the super sweet frosting -- none of that buttercream stuff -- the lardier, the better in my book! And Sweet Bliss' frosting was excellent! I also picked up a Ginger Lime bar and a Blonde Brownie. I'm planning to serve those at dinner tomorrow night. The staff wasn't overly friendly (I think I interrupted the guy's smoke break, which may or may not have pissed him off), but it was late on a Sunday. After consuming cupcakes at six different places, I'm glad I chose Sweet Bliss to top them all off.
google avatar

Gita R.

Yelp
This is now my go-to bakery in the neighbourhood. When I was pregnant last summer my Sunday morning routine would be to walk down to Yoga Mamas for a prenatal class then to hop over to Sweet Bliss for a $2 cappuccino and a scone (made with organic flour and in delicious flavours like cherry and wild blueberry). Each weekend I go now it seems to be busier and busier. Be warned that the scones and the weekend cinnamon buns sell out FAST, so if you show up in the afternoon looking for some, you may be disappointed. The staff are awesome and have never batted an eye when I pulled out a debit card to pay for a small purchase. Where else in the neighbourhood can you get $2 cappuccinos, lattes, etc.? To the reviewer complaining about the hours, they are open most days (even Sundays!) though they were closed for a brief period for renovations.
google avatar

Lindsay H.

Yelp
Sweet Bliss, indeed! This adorable bake shop makes the best cupcakes in the city and you couldn't convince me otherwise! My favourite is the red velvet, but their chocolate ones are to die for as well. They also make a delicious light fluffy chocolate cake - absolutely sinful. I recommend Sweet Bliss to anyone who will listen - friends, family, strangers overheard discussing cupcakes - you name it. I live at Yonge & Dundas and travelled all the way out to Leslieville to get their cupcakes for my birthday last year, and will probably do it again this year. Delicious. The staff is great and accommodating, and if you call ahead, they'll have everything boxed and bowed for you when you arrive. Go! Eat! Enjoy!
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
Hands down the best cupcakes I've had. The red velvet is my go to cupcake but there are many great options here. They pile on the icing here but they don't overload the cakes so that you feel sick after eating a few. I don't know what else I can add that hasn't already been said.
google avatar

Rita E.

Yelp
How can I not give Sweet Bliss 5 stars? Red velvet cupcake. Perfect. Oh, and that mound of buttercream frosting. It was actually a little intimidating... all that frosting... Upon my first bite, I was completely overwhelmed. The spell was cast. And I'm gonna need 25 of these ASAP. *exhale* Ok, people, I'm practically drooling at the thought of it as I'm writing this review. I'll end it at that.
google avatar

Briar G.

Yelp
If you love cupcakes, and really good desserts then you will love Sweet Bliss. My favourite, without even thinking, is Red Velvet. The icing they use is so good and everything is so fresh. Impress anyone for any occasion. I bought some of the jam they had in store, and that was also delicious!
google avatar

L B.

Yelp
Sweet Bliss has the best cupcakes I've had in Toronto. At $2.50 per cupcake, they are worth every cent! On a recent visit, I enjoyed the chocolate coconut and my sig. other had the red velvet. Both cupcakes were awesomely moist with lots of delicious icing! I definitely will be back!
google avatar

Jimi S.

Yelp
Walk in a circle like your trapped inside a doughnut and you might feel like youd feel were you take a gander in Sweet Bliss. And not just because that is the way the store is setup...its because the contents of said store are scrumptious like that hula hoop of a treat. except at sweet bliss the cupcake takes the cake (thanks for letting me be that cheesy.) but its true. its so beautiful and to see a whole fridge of them...sickening (you know in which way). Look around and find fresh wild honey, cookies, cakes and pies. At a certain point you dont recall each and every morsel of food youve had at a place because if its good you just sleep in it. Like your comfy bed, no?
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
I personally think these are the BEST cupcakes! Love love love the carrot cake and lemon one (okay, and the chocolate, vanilla, etc). The other bakes goods are wonderful as well. The cookies! SO GOOD! I love the store - perfect place to pick up my Mennonite beets and honey! Plus the service is so nice. I believe I meet the owner the most and he is so nice and happy to have you in his store. He won me over when he popped in an extra cupcake for free :) Coffee is great and cheap, service with a smile, and a yummy cupcake. Perfect!
google avatar

Lisa K.

Yelp
I have been searching for a great cinnamon bun and based on the reviews here on Yelp, I thought I would give Sweet Bliss a try since I don't like Cinnabon and others that use that thick gloopy white icing. Sadly, this was not the cinnamon bun I was searching for, mainly because it was waaaaaay too much bread and too little cinnamon. Also, I don't need my cinnamon bun to be too sweet, but this cinnamon bun was not sweet at all mainly because it was so bread like and not nearly enough caramelized cinnamon sugar on the bottom and hardly any swirled inside. We also tried the raspberry cheese bun - same problem, all bread, very little raspberry and cheese. The lemon square was surprisingly not that lemony. The butter tart square had a tasty topping but the crust was once again, doughy. Peanut butter cookies lacked peanut butter flavour. I did not try the cupcakes because I don't like the kind with the super sweet icings. Doubt that I will be back. And my search for the perfect cinnamon bun continues...
google avatar

Maggie E.

Yelp
I was disappointed after trying a couple cupcakes from Sweet Bliss. I wanted to like them but they were dry, dense, and cloyingly sweet. Maybe it was just an off batch that day. I WILL give this bakery another shot. Perhaps I'll try a cinnamon bun. All these rave reviews can't be wrong, right?
google avatar

Peggy W.

Yelp
Let me preface my first-ever bakery review with the following: 1) I'm rather particular about bakeries putting clear labels next to their baked goods. Labels are useful in that you immediately know what you're ordering, and they're even more useful when they come with a) a full list of ingredients and/or b) a vegan or gluten-free indicator, so people who follow a vegan or gluten-free diet can easily know what goodies they can enjoy. 2) When it comes to cupcakes, I generally prefer the frosting to have a smooth texture and to taste like what it claims to taste like (rather than blindingly sweet). Anyways, with all that out of the way... Sweet Bliss Baking Company is a small, charming shop that sells cupcakes, cinnamon buns and cookies. They offer 6 different varieties of cupcakes, which were stored on a refrigerator at one side of the bakery and with the labels next to the refrigerator--I think it would be nice if the cupcakes was placed and labelled right at the display counter, since cupcakes is one of the specialties of the shop. The cupcake that I got was the chocolate cupcake with coconut frosting. The cake was quite moist, but I felt that the chocolate flavour was a little too mild. The shredded coconut on top of the frosting was a very nice touch, but overall the frosting was on the blindingly sweet side and I wasn't sure if I picked up much coconut flavour from the frosting. Having said that... I think I should give Sweet Bliss another chance and try their cinnamon buns and red velvet cupcake. I mean, the shop is so lovely!
google avatar

Karl K.

Yelp
I come here every few weekends for the cinnamon buns, which are delectable. They're probably the best cinnamon buns I've had in Toronto so far. I think the price of the cinnamon buns is reasonable, but prices for other items seem quite bloated. As for the cupcakes, they're good, but in my opinion there are better ones down the street. Call ahead to make sure they're open. Twice in the past I've shown up when they were supposed to be open but they were closed - once for painting and a second time for reasons unexplained.
google avatar

Tricia G.

Yelp
Obsessed. I was lead here yesterday to pick up some last minute cupcakes for a friend's birthday. Walking in, you're hit with the smells of fall, melted butter, home sweet home, cinnamon, and desire. Not only were the cupcakes AMAZING, (the coconut one was almost better than first kiss butterflies) but there were also candles and coat hooks. I'm a sucker for a wrought iron coat hook. If I'm in the area again you better believe I'd go back.
google avatar

Michelle V.

Yelp
I had one goal when I went into this bakery and it was to try a cupcake. And the cupcake of choice: red velvet! First, walking into the bakery I was greeted with a punch in the face of baked good; their aroma to be exact. Such a lovely way to enter a building. As I mentioned, I chose the red velvet cupcake as my maiden voyage into what will be many visits back. I was surprised, but not too horrified, that the frosting which tops the cupcake was not a cream cheese frosting but rather a buttercream. That's nothing to sneeze at but I would've expected cream cheese. Comparing this buttercream though to other places I've been, this was close to perfection. The staff was friendly as one of the workers eagerly waited with a pair of tongs in his hand for me to decide what I was going to have. The fridge by the till which housed most of their delights was full of cakes and cupcakes among other things - you see why it was hard to decide. The cake itself? Ridiculously moist and begged to be savoured. I've read these reviews which boast about Sweet Bliss's cinnamon buns so I may have to make another visit... just can't make this a habit of mine.
google avatar

Tara Z.

Yelp
Oh, that salted caramel cupcake. I had half of one a week ago and I'm still thinking about it--a friend brought an assortment of Sweet Bliss cupcakes on a cottage trip we took recently, but she only picked up two of the salted caramel (the horror!). The chocolate and red velvet cupcakes she brought were great, of course, but they couldn't compare to that pillow of vanilla buttercream cupping a generous drizzle of caramel sauce (some of it spilled in transit, and we ended up scraping the caramel off the inside of the box with our fingers because we couldn't let it go to waste). Sooooo pretty much what I'm saying is that this cupcake is a thing of beauty and delight and you should go have one now.

Yelp
In the friendly neighbourhood of Leslieville, sweets and treats are a big deal and Sweet Bliss has exceeded my mark of expectations. The cupcakes are extremely moist and flavourful and decadently rich. The variety is sitting at a good point, although truthfully I find it to be a bit limited. The staff are also friendly; I walked in and was greeted with a warm welcome, and as I was about to pay I was offered a free cupcake as it was near closing time. That brings me to another point: the products are clearly made daily - seems a given but it's always nice to have some validation. Sweet Bliss Baking Company is a great local bakery and I will certainly be returning for more of their tasty treats.

Mike C.

Yelp
Great place, great products. Their best cupcake I think is the banana cupcake. But the other cupcakes are really good as well. Liked the red velvet here. 5 stars!
google avatar

Jaime Y.

Yelp
I love love love the cupcakes here! Carrot and red velvet are the family favourites! The cake is moist and not too heavy. The cream cheese icing is amazing! We just keep coming back for more.... I haven't had the pleasure of trying the other baked goods here because my eyes are usually set on just the cupcakes. Soon enough though! Before you visit, make sure you check out the open/close times as the bakery has limited hours.

Michal B.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about this place. Excellent muffins and treats. We go there as often as we can. The food has a real old school taste with real butter and cream used. None of that fake stuff.
google avatar

Blair D.

Yelp
I tried the cinnamon buns here that everyone was raving about, and I have to say-- have you never had a cinnamon bun before? Like, one from Safeway or something? I mean, Sweet Bliss's cinnamon buns are okay, but they're more like a big plain bun with some cinnamon sugar on them than a real dessert. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Not a fan. On the other hand, their cupcakes are pretty good. I really enjoyed the carrot cake cupcake and the red velvet was pretty good.

Yelp
This place is the best. I go in here way too often because everything they make is amazing. The brownies and scones are my favourite. Literally, everything they make is freshly baked and delicious. They always have seasonal fruit in their treats which makes them even more appealing. Their use of organic ingredients is also a plus. Most of all the owners are great people, so laid back and friendly. I don't think you could find a more complete bakery for sweets in the city. Truly top notch!

Yelp
My favorite treat place in the city. Not only is their latte better then actual coffee shops around, its also only $2!! Their cinnamon bun is the highlight of the weekend ( I mean food wise, yeah i do other cool things on the weekends) Tried their cupcake and think i might prefer the ones from Bobette and Belle but honestly it's so close it's hard to really decide. So everything is delicious, you can probably just close your eyes and let your hand over the counter. Anything you randomly pick will be worth your while.

Yelp
Nothing special really...the baked goods are slightly above average, but never out if this world. I've been in the store 2-3 times, and each time never greeted with a warm hello. The staff who work there seem to be slightly socially awkward at times, but once they open up they are more warm and welcoming.

Yelp
Amazing how one man's food truly is another man's poison. My experience with Sweet Bliss is completely different from everyone else's. I found the cupcakes to be extremely dry and the icing sickly sweet. The red velvet is one of the worst I have had. Aside from the aggressive presence of sugar, the red food colouring was all I could taste. That was a LOT of colouring. My tongue was badly beaten from its assault and my stomach was sure to punish me for such an unwelcome exposure. Normally such an amount of colouring would explain the dryness but what about the chocolate, vanilla and other flavours I tried? Why were they so dry?

Yelp
Sweetbliss is by far my favorite place to go on weekends. They make the most delicious coffees (I love the latte). I also think they make the best cupcakes in the city. But you don't have to just be into cupcakes to enjoy this place, they have have a lot of other tasty treats to choose from. Prices are great, especially for their coffees - Only $3 for a large latte. You wont find prices like that at Starbucks. The couple who runs the place are also super sweet. This combination of things will always get my support.

Yelp
This is a small bakery. They do not have any seat, but there is a counter to have a cup of coffee. I went there more than once. First time I went there, I was very impressed with their vanilla cup cake. Second time, I had a coconuts cup cake and a cup of coffee. Their coffee was excellent and their cup cakes are the best I have ever tried in Toronto.

Yelp
I'm conflicted about this place. I do really love their butter tart squares, and they seem like nice enough people, but everything else I've had has just been okay. Made a special trip just for the famous cinnamon buns, which I have to say we're very disappointing. The dough itself was good, but it was almost like there was no filling. Maybe we just got an off batch. Wouldn't make a special trip, but if I happened to be walking past I might be tempted by a cappuccino and a square.

Yelp
When the hell is this place open??!! If the owners read these yelps reviews, which they should to get honest feedback...PLEASE change your hours sign...I went there today at 11 on Wednesday, and you were closed. This has happened before, at other times, when I could swear your sign says you're open...honestly it's so annoying...I actually like your spanokopita, and I was heading over there in my PJs...Frankly it gives the impressions that you don't really care to be open when it says you will be...not a good image. I'm actually kind of DONE with this place, not going to go there anymore out of protest over their infuriating hours...that and the fact they keep putting milk in my americanos instead of cream...
