Stayed here for 5 nights and was very happy with my choice. It's a small hotel, very beautifully designed and a very sweet home indeed. Everyone is so nice and welcoming, breakfast is delicious, my room was great, great shower and the bed was very comfortable. A bit small but perfect for one person, or a couple, and they do have bigger rooms. The location is perfect, very close to all the center areas, always felt safe there. Thank you so much to lovely Maria , Dina and all other lovely people in sweet home hotel, had a wonderful time, see you next time I'm in beautiful Athens :)

We LOVED this outstanding boutique hotel. The location is AMAZING - so close to all the main Athens sites that you don’t need the metro and can easily walk everywhere. At the same time, it’s on a side street so very quiet day and night. The hotel is super clean, beautiful, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic, with a wide variety of proteins as well as breads and yogurt with healthy toppings to use as you wish. I’m not sure how Google (or a hotel organization?) decides what the overall star rating is for a hotel, but I’m shocked to see this listed in Google Maps as a 1 star hotel. Please ignore that and read all of the awesome 5 star reviews from people who have stayed here. This is a very special place.

Perfect Stay at Sweet Home Hotel in Athens The Sweet Home Hotel is truly a wonderful place to stay. The location couldn’t be better – central and perfect for exploring the city. The rooms may not be large, but they are very comfortable, impeccably clean, and equipped with an excellent bathroom. The staff deserves special praise: incredibly courteous, service-oriented, and friendly. And the breakfast? Simply outstanding! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and its team. On my next visit to Athens, I will definitely stay here again!

My partner and I had the best time staying at Sweet Home Hotel! The staff is very friendly and incredibly accommodating. Our room was great, cozy, and had everything that we needed. We had an early ferry leaving Athens one of the mornings and the staff very generously packed us breakfast, lunch, and snacks for our journey as we were leaving too early to enjoy the breakfast. Their breakfast buffet is delicious as well. The hotel is located walking distance from Plaka, Monasteraki, the Acropolis, and more making it centrally located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sweet Home Hotel and would absolutely return in the future if visiting the city again!

This small boutique hotel is on a side street near the Plaka and is very lively. Many great restaurants and shops within bocks. Walking to the Acropolis is about a 30-minute uphill walk (uphill, of course, from anywhere) and very doable. The staff is friendly, helpful and kind. All spoke andunderstood English perfectly. We had the penthouse suite which featured a HUGE bathtub and a king-size bed - very luxurious. We would stay here again.

Great place to go if you want to visit Athens. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Feels like a family owned hotel, very nice vibe. Super clean. Great location. Amazing and "home cooked" vibes breakfast

I booked this hotel for a one night stay because it was one of the few hotels in Athens that offered arrangements for 3 adults that did not include a sleeper sofa. My flight from the USA changed and I was unable to cancel the reservation before the free cancellation period ended 3 days prior to my arrival. I missed it by a few hours. The travel agency tried to help me by contacting the property, and agreeing to waive any commission. I explained that my itinerary changed and I would not arrive in Athens until 2 days later. Finally, they replied saying they would keep the entire 286 euros or I could use the reservation on the day before or after I was slated to be in Greece. I acknowledged that I did not cancel within the required time period and was willing to pay a small penalty for my "no show" but $300 USD was excessive for a room I'm sure the hotel sold to another customer. They had 3 days notice to rebook it. This inflexibility and lack of good customer service suggests this property is one where enjoying your stay is questionable. It takes more than a decent location and rooms to make a visit outstanding. My interaction with Afroditi Armata left a very bad taste in my mouth so traveler beware.

Hotel is centrally located, comfortable and had a delicious bfast. What we appreciated most was the friendly staff that when out of their way to give us advice and recommendations on places to eat and visit. Made a spontaneous trip to napflio as it was recommended by the staff as an alternative to rainy athens, and it was wonderful!
