Sweet Home Hotel

The location of the hotel is only surpassed by the amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful that they made us feel like family. The breakfast was delicious and varied with many homemade items. The hotel is close to everything and on a quiet street with several good restaurants and bakeries near by. It’s a small hotel in an older building, so expect a cozy and quaint place. We were there 4 nights and highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Athens.

The Sweet Home Hotel was a lovely and charming hotel on the edge of the Plaka, just a short walk from everything. The staff were extremely helpful, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the AC worked - it even has a great collection of photographs in the basement! It definitely hit all the right boxes for our family (wife and kids, plus elderly grandparents). It had soul and comfort, and still allowed us to get to where we needed to get to. Next time we're in Athens, we'll definitely stay there again.

Just really enjoyed our 2n stay in the wonderful family run boutique small hotel in the heart of Athens . The location is perfect to walk to everything , best restaurants , cafes, bars , bakeries , and all the sites .| The breakfast is wonderful with freshly made local greek pastries , yoghurts fruits honey eggs cheeses etc - all superb .| All the rooms are individual and different with everything included to enjoy you stay with kettle tea/coffee , fridge hairdryer and a lovely bed with crisp cotton linen whats not to like .| The family of Afrodite , Alexia , their mother with Tina on reception are all lovely & make you feel like family guests .| HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The Home Sweet Home Hotel lives up to its name in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff. Every single person we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to assist with any request, big or small. This level of service truly made us feel at home in a foreign city. The hotel's perfect location allows for easy exploration of Athens' city center on foot, with all the major sights and attractions just a short walk away. Starting each day with their delicious and varied breakfast was a wonderful treat, providing the perfect fuel for our adventures. We were so impressed with our initial stay at the beginning of our trip that we chose to return to Home Sweet Home for our final night in Athens after visiting Milos. A testament to their exceptional service, they even graciously stored our extra luggage while we were away, a convenience that we deeply appreciated. The Home Sweet Home Hotel is more than just a place to stay; it's a place that makes you feel like you belong. We cannot recommend it highly enough and would not hesitate to stay there again on our next visit to Athens.

Sweet Home Hotel is a fantastic quaint hotel to make your stay comfortable and efficient while in Athens. Wonderful breakfast with many choices to satisfy your taste. Beds were very comfortable. The staff is fantastic, friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to serve. Don’t get me wrong, this is not a Five Star Four Seasons. But, it had much more character and is perfect for the vacationer to Athens, close to and convenient to all the major places of interest. Can walk with ease to many places. A perfect place to call Home for several days while exploring Athens and the surrounding area. We would stay here again.

Wonderful boutique hotel! Staff was wonderful - thanks Dina, Alexa, and Emma! - and the location could not have been any better (center of Athens with a short walk to all of the main sites). And to top it all off, the Greek breakfast every morning was delicious! Rooms are a bit small, but we were not there to stay in our rooms - would definitely stay there again!
