Update: I sent an email and a follow up email to Kavi who replied to my review and I never heard anything back, so my review stands. I used to like this place, but the customer service keeps getting worse. The staff seem to really hate their jobs. I went on the fourth of July and a very bizarre thing happened. I ordered a frappe and the girl started to make it then, stopped in the middle to take two other orders. She then continued to make my frappe and finished it. It then just sat there behind the counter while she made the two other customers' orders!! Why didn't she give me my order?!? She finished the other two orders then gave all three of our orders at the same time. Mine was of course melted because it sat there a while while she made other drinks. I should have yelled out and asked for it, but I was just so confused. Why on earth didn't she hand me my drink? She knew I was standing right there the whole time. I guess if I want to go to Sweet Hut, I will go to the midtown location from now on. It's a shame because this location was convenient; I went there all the time. Also every time I get the red velvet cookies at this location, they are really hard.

I go to Sweethut at Lenox Mall almost everyday. I love all their Staff and the Manager is great. Today however I want to say that Hallie is a total asset to this business. Her customer service is above and beyond. Thank you so much.

Google
Highly upset with my experience here. My family and I were strolling through lenox this past Friday when we decided we could use some coffee. We started looking at the menu and then the employees turned off the lights, and another couple walked up to look at the food display and then they turned off the menu screens. Never did they say a word to us. They simply just watched us be in confusion and laughed amongst themselves. We checked the time and it was 7:24 (based on the picture time) and online the store hours say open til 8pm. I understand it was a Friday and maybe they were tired, but they could have at least warned us or told us they were not taking orders. I like sweet hut but I don’t think I’ll be returning here ever again. (edit 8/15) I was told to email that address, in which i did, but never received a reply. Sad.

Google
Genuinely surprised by the sub par reviews for this location. My friends and I stopped by the other evening and had a great time. The boba was great and the bakery items we got were tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful as well.

Google
If I can rate this a negative one I would I used to love going to sweet hut, but it’s just not even worth the money due to the workers attitudes and service. Haley is very rude. She doesn’t acknowledge customers at the counter and she gives you poor service and this is a constant thing it’s not even worth it no more.

Google
Who messes up donuts? These things look nice (hence the star) and the people are friendly, but the donuts were freezing cold and flavorless. i don't know if this is the standard for the chain or if it's just this mall location. It's literally a PLAIN donut(not glazed, just round bread) UNSWEETENED, topped with random sprinkles of God knows what. I ordered the Cream Cheese, the Oreo, and the Nutella. A complete waste of money! The only thing that was HALF decent and semi-sweet was the whipped cream on top and the Vanilla-Strawberry jelly roll thing. After 2 bites, the donuts were thrown in the trash where they belonged.

Yelp
Sweet Hut Bakery is conveniently located in the back of Lenox Mall, food court. I was craving Chocolate Chip cookies. So I purchased my favorite cookies. Sweet Hut bakery, has an amazing display of Cupcakes, Doughnuts, Mini Fruit Tarts, Hazelnut Nutella & Oreo Donuts+ Coffee drinks, and many more delicious treats. Olga assisted me, she was friendly & very helpful explaining the different desserts. Sweet Hut Cafe was nice & clean. So Take a break & bring the kids out for some Sweet Hut Treats. Free parking in the back of Lenox Mall, makes for easy access to the Food Court. Enjoy.

Yelp
This location is in the Lenox Mall , nice spot for some boba. We ordered the Lychee tea with rainbow jelly and rainbow popping. Very tasty !!

Steph W.

Yelp
This place is inside the mall easy to find and delicious! I'm glad that I went with it, given all the options at the food court. The puff was fresh and delicious, I loved everything about it. Felt homey and tasted great. Mango green tea with bubbles, decent. I did ask for 50% sugar and it came as if 0% which I can tolerate. Bubbles were chewy and good! I'd keep in mind that less sugar is really less not the typical 50% so make sure you're ok with it! Will be back when in town!

Yelp
R and I ate at a restaurant at Lenox Square, and wanted boba tea afterward. This Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe location is in the food court at Lenox Square, so it was very convenient for us to go there and check out the menu. While we were looking at the menu deciding what we wanted, two women just ahead of us were ordering at the order counter, but suddenly left. We ordered two boba teas, but then were told by the employee that they ran out of boba. I knew then why the women left, because we also walked away after finding out we weren't going to get boba. The website shows that this location closes at 9 pm, but they had already ran out of boba by 6:48 pm when we got there. This explained why the line for Sweet Hut was so short.

Jade C.

Yelp
Just right~! The desserts here are the perfect size and sweetness to try a few without overdoing it. I had the mango mousse and creme brûlée with a Thai iced boba tea. The mousse had a firmer texture than I anticipated, but a distinct mango flavor in all layers. The crème brûlée was creamy with the perfect toasted crust. The tea was refreshing with well cooked pearls that were squishy and smooth. But the best part was getting flustered by the beautiful person with lilac hair and sharp eyeliner. I didn't expect the associates to be as pretty as the treats. *blush* Tip them well for dedication to the theme.

Jessica L.

Yelp
the og of the new wave of bakeries. the pastries are still solid, love the cheesecake. the teas are still good as well. you know what you're getting from sweet hut. can be busy and crowded at times due to popularity.

Christopher W.

Yelp
This location is located on the lowest level of the Lenox Square among the other restaurants in the food court area. Because this is a mall location. Their menu is not as extensive as other Sweet Hut bakeries. For example, you will not find any of the following (as of July 2021): Milk Teas Honey Hong Kong Roasted Barley Cheese Foam Teas Golden Phoenix Oolong (it's new, so maybe it will come in the future) Osmanthus Oolong Assam Summer Breeze Teas Wintermelon Sweet Green Lemon Honey Lemon Aloe Fruit Slush Four Berries Watermelon Avocado Frappe Hazelnut Mint Chocolate Chip Coconut Cream

Saira K.

Yelp
I went here before the pandemic so I'm not sure what things are like now. This is in the mall food court. Looks clean. Service was nice. The egg tart was yummy. Seemed to be popular.

Evan G.

Yelp
Sweet Hut Bakery & Bakery at Lenox Square in Atlanta is a great place to go for all things delicious and fresh bakery items when you need it. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need. Good experience coming here.

Julia C.

Yelp
I'm not sure how Sweet Hut doesn't have more reviews, and more five-star reviews at that! I LOVE going here. I think it's the best boba place you can go to in Atlanta by far. There are quite a few locations, so you can really visit it anywhere. It feels very similar to a Chinese market with all the pastries and yummy goodies they put out to purchase. I have never tried anything beyond the pastries and milk and non-milk boba teas. I love love the Taro tea and really appreciate that they will adjust sugar sweetness (highly recommend going for half because it's still plenty sweet)

Thi T.

Yelp
This is located at lowest level of mall, in food court. There's one cashier taking orders. We didn't hear them call out our number but they set the drinks on counter. The options are limited but they had common drinks, some snacks, donuts, etc. I got the Hazel nut milk tea, 75% sugar which is sweet enough for me. I like the chewy boba. Seating is plenty at the mall, even on a Sunday.

Terry H.

Yelp
Huge fan of Sweet Hut in Chamblee, Duluth, and Midtown. Strolling through the mall and lo and behold....the newest Sweet Hut location. Grand opening is tomorrow, July 1 but we were able to grab a few sweets. Met the owner and she gave us a free maple bacon glazed doughnut. Smaller in-line location in the food court so they won't have the same selection as the larger locations but you can now get your pastry and bubble tea fix right in Buckhead. ***** FIVE STARS *****

Melina W.

Yelp
I love coming here! They have such a wide variety of pastries and food. I always order the Jasmine Milk Tea with tapioca. Very delicious and refreshing. I pair it with a couple macaroons. It's great for catching up with friends or if you want to read a book. Parking is in the back in the garage. Bring your ticket in so they can validate it. Customer service is on point! Go here once a week. :)

Nicki K.

Yelp
The main reason why this Sweet Hut gets a 5 stars is the staff. I've visited Sweet Hut many many times before. Never have I gotten a Rewards Card! Seriously! My Rewards card would've accumulated a lot of points already. So I'm quite disappointed in the other Sweet Hut for never offering me it. Sure, they have limited pastries and desserts but what I got, I was happy. I took my friend to Sweet Hut and she loves it. Again, it's limited but it's okay. It opens people's eyes and minds to try something different. If they want more, go to the other Sweet Hut locations. Yes, it's located at food court at Lenox! BTW, the Rewards Card is also good for Food Terminal! Plus if you don't have your card for you, just tell them your phone number! 73/2018

Jill M.

Yelp
Great service... however, the lady behind the bar was too busy talking to someone else who works in the mall and messed up my order. I asked for a taro tea and I got Thai tea . I took it ... This time.

Tiff H.

Yelp
I was super excited for this super convenient location of Sweet Hut, walking distance from the office! We stopped by after lunch in the food court. Options seem limited compared to other Sweet Hut locations, which is slightly disappointing. My usual favorites weren't available, with a greater emphasis on the donuts and sweet options, which may cater to the usual clientele better than their more Asian options. Wish we could introduce our Asian culture better to the Lenox Mall crowd, but it is what it is. I got a plain white vanilla cupcake, which is the closest to what I could usually get at the Doraville location. It was slightly disappointing since it just tasted like white cake with zero Asian influence. My Thai tea tasted like the typical Thai tea, so I was ok with that. Overall, my original conception in 2012 that Sweet Hut is the best Asian bakery in Atlanta is definitely shot. Maybe I'm sick of it and want something new, but I feel like Sweet Hut has definitely expanded due to their ability to reach out to a larger clientele while losing some of their traditional Asian influences that I really miss.

Tanesha A.

Yelp
I'm going to be nice and give this place a 3 out of 5. My co-worker Tiff H. have been talking about this place for a minute. I was super excited because she knows I'm a sweets fanatic...I thought "OH BOY!" Now I'm not a go crazy let's eat everything in sight chick but I am the chick who would rather eat her calories rather than drink them so I thought this is going to be great! Anyway...I digress. Being me, I have a million and one questions and I know the cashier is looking at me like what's your problem chick can't you read and also I really don't feel like engaging with this chick. So, I start by asking her what's her favorite snack. She tells me the chicken pocket or something with chicken (but I don't eat meat so for me that's out) anyway she then says the Nutella donut and another one (I can't really remember the name). Anyway, I ask about the Oreo donut because true to life itself I'm an Oreo kind of chick. Anyway, she said that one is really good too. Well, because I asked and I didn't want her thinking why the heck did u ask me to pick something else, lol. I guess this is what I would have been thinking. So I decide Nutella is really good so let's go with that one. Presentation was on point...really yummy looking. (I said looking) Taste was blah...yes blah. Let me explain, although I am not Martha Stewart nor Betty Crocker I would like to think I'm a sweets enthusiast and Nesha knows! It was very dry on the inside not ifs and or buts about it. I can even try to save it. Seemed like I was eating five day old bread. The cost was $2.79 that didn't include the tax. That wasn't bad at all until I tried to eat it and thought...well damn, I could've gotten 2 and half Krispy Kreme's for this. I also ordered a passion fruit green tea with aloe chunks in it. I got a regular size. Not sure how much this cost but it was on point that was worth it. Anyway, I'm glad I tried it and you should too. Whether the experience is bad or not I really enjoy the overall interaction and getting to review the items I tried. This was the Lenox location and I was told it's not that great...but the other locations are better. Should any of the owners or staff read this, just know I am honest to a fault but if u need me to try out anything beforehand...I am right down the street Monday-Friday...let me know. I don't play about my sweets! Please see the pics I'm going to post. Don't think I can say anymore after that....

Yelp
Self serve bakery up front was excellent. Could not speak highly enough about the bacon bun. Didn't get a drink, will next time. Ambience is a combination of cute and quirky. Loved the wall art. Volume a little high but never overbearing. Very easy to find outlets. Excellent place to get work done for a couple hours on a Tuesday afternoon.

Gary G.

Yelp
Grand opening at Lenox mall. There are many types of free samples and full of people. Oolong milktea with bubble is my favorite one!!! Chicken nuggets also is my favorite snacks and very popular. I think sweet hut is the most professional making bubble tea and bakery.

Matt B.

Yelp
Well, water down drink and bad customer service. Stopped by after a long day shopping. Ordered three drinks but was informed there was no boba ( seriously?!?, store should be close if you don't have boba if you running a milk tea business) cashier wasn't feel bad at all, no apology, just stand there and stare at me. I asked how long will it be ready? She said 50 mins. Well, that sucks and totally ruined my mood for the drink. Order half sugar iced drink. Very meh, water down. All powder mix drinks. Won't come back! Pass!

Sarah N.

Yelp
This small sweet shop is located in the Lenox Mall food court and has a variety of teas, coffees, and pastries. I gotta say I wasnt a big fan at all of the bubble tea's I tried, which were the strawberry and the hazelnut, because they added way too much syrup. I mean they were sickeningly sweet. We couldn't even finish what we had because after a few sips we just couldn't take the taste any longer. The egg tart on the other hand was a complete delight. The layers off puff pastry and sweet custard egg was simple but so so good. I would absolutely try another one of their pastries, but maybe skip the bubble tea next time.

M J.

Yelp
Delicious cheesecake and baked goods. The bubble tea was great too : chocolate with milk tea and coffee jellies.

Amber K.

Yelp
Just had mold on a cupcake please check you food buying from them.. not good at all especially people who have kids check their stuff!!

Lay L.

Yelp
let's start off with the bottom of the cake was soft. no flavor, expensive for the look not the taste. I was dissatisfied I couldve went to Kroger if this was the outcome

Qiying W.

Yelp
I have to say this is the best cake I've ever had in Atlanta! My friends bought me a big one on my birthday and I immediately ate a half. Unable to stop...Thanks for making my brilliant birthday.

Carol L.

Yelp
Quick stop for boba tea and drinks! They also serve pastries over the counter, but limited selection. This area is in a food court setting but I've been to many Sweet Hut shops around. Their egg custard is soooooo good!

Faith C.

Yelp
This Sweet Hut outpost is located in the food court, on the bottom level of Lenox Square. Since it is not a stand-alone Sweet Hut, it does not carry the vast selection the other Sweet Huts do, only the most popular drinks and basic food items. I didn't see the honey jasmine milk tea I usually get on the menu, so I got a Sweet Hut milk tea instead. They were out of boba by 8pm on a Friday night, so I got grass jelly. I do like that they had a toppings display. Admittedly, I mostly just stick to what I know (boba, pudding, and sometimes coffee jelly), but maybe I'll be inspired to be more adventurous with my tea toppings in the future. The tea tasted pretty standard for Sweet Hut, no complaints here. Service was friendly enough. I don't venture to Buford Highway or Duluth as much as I'd like to anymore, and driving in midtown is kind of a pain, so I appreciate this convenient little Sweet Hut when I'm at the mall and need my fix.

Chardae B.

Yelp
Came here for dessert after dinner. Got the red velvet cake and pulled pork sandwich of lunch tomorrow. The cake was awesome and so was the service. Fast quick and somewhat polite staff. Great location!!

Rachel K.

Yelp
Smart move to add a Sweet Hut in a mall. I've shopped at Lenox so many times, had lunch/dinner, and then craved a legit Thai Tea afterwards but too lazy to drive to BuHi. Parking - If you drive by the Food Court area outside, there's a parking lot. I usually go there when I'm stopping by to eat at Lenox. There's also a parking deck next to the parking lot. The only bad part: The pastries selection is not huge. But it makes sense since the Sweet Hut location here is pretty small. There are also some small cake slice selections. I normally just get the Thai Tea + nuggets. Both are great. Bubbles are good! No disappointment. Service is solid. Very nice folks. If you're a new customer and never had Sweet Hut... do some research before heading to order and let the poor cashier get to other customers. I literally waited 10 mins on ONE person since she asked 4098450508 questions. My biggest pet peeve.

Vats A.

Yelp
Sweet Hut has impressed me with their rate of expansion these past few years. They have quickly become my go to place for a sweet fix and their hours make this possible. With this new addition in the Lenox Mall food court you can be sure to have access to quality drinks and sweets while you are browsing the mall stores. The group of people working when I visited was a nice bunch. They provided speedy service in a clean environment. I was most surprised to find out that they make the sweets in the back of the storefront every morning. That is impressive when you think about how small the kitchen space must be!

Wes J.

Yelp
I love sweet hut but this location is pretty small and very congested. Pastries here are ok but not as good of quality it seems as the Duluth location. Still would stop by if I was in the area.

Ronny S.

Yelp
I just walked by this and was AMAZED!!! I am soooo glad Sweet Hut Bakery made it to Lenox Square!!! I hope they keep opening more and more locations!!!! I know Marietta is on the horizon but hopefully they open one near the Cumberland area of Atlanta!!!! LOOOVE THIS!!!! The Mango Slushi with Tapiocas and the Portugese Egg Tart are the best treats evvvvver!!!! Also try the Coconut Tart is amazing!!!! Great place to get dessert after a good meal at the Square! Sooo good!!! The customer service is EXCELLENT!

Sydney F.

Yelp
If you want something sweet (and usually super cute and instagrammable) look no further than Sweet Hut. There are multiple locations, and each one has the best selection of sweet treats. I've had Oreo cheesecake, Nutella buns, and more and have never been disappointed. I will always take my business here because of how helpful and polite they are, as well as the amazing selection.

ProntoWash A.

Yelp
Amazing tea and the girls behind counter are very sweet and helpful. I recommend jasmine green tea with honey it's perfect for fall

Arielle L.

Yelp
So many desserts to choose from you can never go wrong. I also love their bubble teas. I've had a bulging I burger was well, which is good, but I see this as more of a patisserie/boulangerie.

Mimi L.

Yelp
I was craving something sweet while shopping. I saw a lady with bubble tea and instantly decided that's what I wanted! I got the caramel milk tea with a dulce de leche donut, and my sister got a mango slushie with an Oreo donut. Yes, we like our sugar. They also had samples of their creme cheese donut on the side. I definitely recommend this place for your sugar cravings.

M M.

Yelp
Yummy! Try the orange black tea: refreshing. The sweets are not overloaded with sugar and go well when accompanied with a cold tea. Relaxing atmosphere; the classic cafe vibe. Excellent customer service. Choose whatever your tummy desires.

Mantsane M.

Yelp
Usually I'm never disappointed about about this place but my Thai had no boba in it. Place was not busy but the person who handed me my tea was so much in a hurry and turned away just when I grabbed my order. How do yo even mess up when it's not busy at all

Forrest A.

Yelp
I had a considerable amount of time to kill waiting for my flight to leave after attending a conference in Atlanta, and someone at the airport recommended I hop on the train and come check this place out. Totally worth it! The shop has a pretty cool and unique vibe which is a welcome change from your typical bakery and cafe. I got a berry slush and a blueberry doughnut and both were phenomenal. The shop has a lot of good looking pastries and drinks, so next time I'm in town, I'd definitely like to come back and try something else! Whether you live in midtown or just visiting, I definitely recommend visiting this place!

Brian D.

Yelp
Huge Sweet Hut fan and closest location to us. But having tried all of their other locations, this place is by far the plainest. For some reason, idk if it was just the day we went, but every item we tried tasted watered down. The usual pork bun I get seemed less generous with the stuff inside (or did I get lucky all the other times generously?). We tried 4 various pastries and a jasmine milk boba tea (which was also literally watered down). And to make matters worse, we stood waiting for what seemed like almost 10 minutes with customers who was behind us getting theirs first. They seemed greatly understaffed for a location that can easily get very busy. At least judging by the fact only one person making the drinks and on top of that I witnessed 3 persons orders messed up during the late afternoon hour. The selection is very limited, but I've expected that similar to the location in Buford where the shop is just as small I believe. But Buford win out on all the above mentioned. If this were to be my first Sweet Hut experience, I probably wouldn't try the other locations. It didn't seem like anything special which is disappointing considering it's 15 minutes closer than the other locations. Though finding parking and walking there kind of defeats the time saved, I enjoy walking to the store the most of this experience. I was gonna leave 2 star, but 3 star for employee effort. I know the struggle!

AJ L.

Yelp
Not much to say other than their Creme Brulee Bubble Tea was super spot on, I ordered that with half sugar and it was delicious, it captured the flavor of a creme brulee really well and I will go again if and when I get the opportunity :) Tried their Taro Bubble Tea as well and it was fine, pretty standard fare, no complaints.

Chet J.

Yelp
This is an excellent breakfast spot! The staff is so friendly each morning. Can't wait to come back every time I am in Atlanta.

Chris J.

Yelp
The salads here are only describable in one word: amazing. It would be strange going to a bakery with friends while on a diet, but Sweet Hut made sure to not leave me left out from the group! I can't wait to try more options such as the paninis and sandwiches, as I had an amazing experience just with the salad.

Ange K.

Yelp
Stopped in here on my way back to my hotel. I ordered the avocado toast and taro milk tea. The tea was great, but the toast was merely bread with mayo, tomato, lettuce and the tiniest sliver of avocado. I'm not a tomato person, and was really looking forward to the avocado, and was very disappointed in the sandwich. If there would have been more avocado, I think it could have been great and for around $8.00 for the sandwich, I'd expect more.

Zahra M.

Yelp
They make the most dreamiest boba tea EVER. Ask for the Sweet Hut Boba Tea. Ugh! It's mind-blowing! Also, I triple dog dare you to try their Chocolate Ganache slice. I'm drooling just from writing this. Try both of those items, you'll thank me later :)

Rocio W.

Yelp
Terrible service and worst system to purchase anything. Two cashiers for a line of 15 people and no one can do anything in advance. Stay in line first and THEN go make your selections THEN pay - the most inefficient system and poor customer care. No one smiles, it's like they hate their jobs!

Linda S.

Yelp
In love with this place and this place is so amazing. The place that I attended was in doraville. Everything looks so good and as soon as you walk in it smells so fresh. The parking lot is small if you want to be parked right near the location. I heard that the one in Atlanta is much bigger. I have to check it out soon. I will totally be coming back soon to try out more goodies for you guys.!!!

Pam B.

Yelp
While shopping in the mall came across this bakery and just with the presentation i couldn't help but to stop. The customer service was great but i will say that was one of the best chocolate chip cookie i ever ate, You guys need to have a shop in New York if you don't already so that i can get my fix. Next time i visit Georgia i know where to get my cookie fix.

Anthony W.

Yelp
Hard to write a review on the boba at this location when they never have it. On one occasion, I was told I would have to wait 30 minutes for boba. This was on a Saturday at 11:30am after the Walk for a Cure event was over. Another instance was on a Thursday afternoon at 7pm, it would be a 15 minute wait. I don't understand why a store like this wouldn't always have boba on hand. I'll stick to making the drive out to Buford Highway or going to another cafe.
