Sweet Jesus

I absolutely love this board! It completely transformed my soft-serve experience! I was already excited for the ice cream, but seeing this wall of creativity and personality from the staff made everything feel even sweeter. The artistry, the doodles, the humor, the charm… it all shows just how much heart goes into this place. Please, never take it down. It’s such a special touch that makes the whole shop feel alive and welcoming. I’m already looking forward to coming back just to see what new masterpieces appear next!

Horrible customer service! Three of us went to get some ice cream, there were 2 girls working, Friday 23rd January around 4pm at Square One - The Food District. We waited a bit for them to finish their chit-chat, so that we could order...However, we were totally ignored, so we left without ordering. I guess their convo was so much more important than customers who came by...

This place is really something special. The soft serve is lightly sweet which makes the sweet toppings go better. My new favourite. I love that they also do a vegan coconut soft serve. Great customer service too. P.S. - In my picture there is a small and regular size. The sizes are crazy. Start small😃.

Wonderful creations of different flavoured ice cream cones. Recommend to get a small cone or ask for cup instead. Portions are quite large and filling. There is a vegan option with coconuts(please get more Choices)! Our new favourite ice cream store!

You'd think that you have been praying for this and your prayers were answered. Great soft ice cream that is not too sweet but just perfect for great pairing with the toppings. Almost sinful but totally heavenly.

Visited last year and visited again because of the delicious textures and generous amount of quantity. Even a small one is enough for two people. I used my gift card and it didn’t work and the old women behaved like she doesn’t care. Do not use gift card over here! Otherwise, my overall experience was good.

Tried their Marry Me Mango Ice Cream and it was absolutely delicious! The presentation was super impressive. Price is a bit steep, but the taste is truly premium. Definitely worth trying.

A cute little shop in the Food District that offers a great selection of unique textured ice creams that has a great balance of sweetness. Have been here many times and the service has always been great and fast! Got the Hella Hazelnut - which is my favourite out of all their varieties - and the Rocky Road rage.

The name got me trying this ice cream. Located in Niagara Falls Clifton Hill. It's inside a gift shop right at the entrance. Many options of flavored soft-serve ice cream. We went for the red velvet soft serve. Surprisingly, it wasn't too sweet. It was sooo soft like biting into a red velvet cupcake. Very good. Must try when in the area!

Picked up a Birthday Cake Ice Cream Cake and enjoyed it at home. Overall, it was good, but it didn't really taste like birthday cake -- more of a vanilla sweet cream ice cream with sprinkles (kind of artificial). Though it was good (because it's hard to go wrong with ice cream), I don't think I would pay $35 for this small-ish cake again. Maybe the other flavours are more special?

Came here for something sweet and Sweet Jesus did it hit the spot. There was so much to choose from, I really couldn't decide what to get. Fortunately, the person ringing me up was helped me make that decision. I asked for his recommendation and he helped me filter it. First Vanilla or Chocolate base? Vanilla. Sweet or extra sweet? Just sweet enough. His suggestion was Birthday Cake. So I went with that. I was handed the cutest soft serve, with birthday cake crumbles topped with a candle. It was so cute and it tasted even better. It wasn't crazy, over the top sweet and the toppings was just enough. I really enjoyed it. Only regret was stuffing my face too much for dinner that I didn't have enough room for a larger serving. Glad I was able to try this out, it was on my list during my last visit to Toronto and didn't get around to it. I'm happy it worked out this time.

We happened to walk by this place on a recent trip to Square One and decided to order a soft serve cone on a whim. I'm glad we did, and as a bonus, they had dollar off any size cone special. We ordered on Red Rapture which is a vanilla soft serve with red velvet coating, cream cheese icing, raspberry sauce, and a meringue crumble. The ice cream was very good, smooth and creamy, and the toppings were also good. The person who served was very helpful and she patiently answered all our questions. I would definitely return to this Sweet Jesus location again.

I went to sweet jesus couple times before. This portion is good enough to share for two people. (I'm not crazy about ice cream so much). Outside is oreo cookies, chocolate chip cookies, Fudgee-o cookies, cookie dough chunks and it's vanilla soft serve ice cream. Just it's a little bit sweet for me.

Ice cream is hands down the best in the area! Highly recommend everyone check this ice cream place out

Great concept for an ice cream company but they have limited plant based options which are healthier.

got two kids sized ice creams to end off our day of shopping. the ice cream was on the pricy side, $13.56 for two kid sized cones. we asked for both in a cone and ended up getting one in a cone and one in a cup. even though it was the same order, each cone takes a while to come. so if your eating with a friend, i recommend you dont wait for them otherwise your ice cream will melt. they work pretty slow. when we let the lady know that we asked for a cone, she said she would throw it out and make us a new one. at that point, i rather just have the cup we just asked for an empty cone instead. the taste of the ice cream was good at first but it is extremely heavy and thick ice cream. if your able to finish this, you wont want ice cream again for a while!

I love soft ice. This place takes it up a notch with clever toppings and flavors. Tucked away in the Food District in the basement of the Square One mall, it can be easily missed. I got the cookIes and cream and it was delicious. Couldn't finish it the small as it was really big. Definitely check them out!

A great edition to the Square One food district! The staff worked fast, especially considering how busy it was during the grand opening. The ice cream was delicious and was completely covered with toppings, and they look exactly like the pictures! I ordered the Bounty Killah and the shaved coconut was aplenty. The icecream is a little expensive considering most of the options are just plain vanilla softserve, but with all the toppings they add it looks great for Instagram posts lol.

I purchased tickets from Sweet Jesus for my grandchildren to decorate an ice cream cake at The Food District last Saturday. The add said that children under 12 had to be accompanied by an adult so I purchased a ticket for myself as well not realizing I did not need to. I found the event overpriced at $19 (x3) for what it was and not as advertised. The "container to keep" was a cardboard take out container that was too large to fit in our cooler. We didn't receive the buy one get 50% off coupons, they said we could get 15% off with the tickets at the store instead. The kids couldn't wait to start decorating but had first to watch 10 minutes of demonstration how ingredients are mixed into the ice cream. The kids liked the decorating part.

Sweet jesus just opened today at food district. I got the oh hungry since I was hungry for dessert. Looked delicious and finished it real quick. Cant wait to enjoy more Sweet Jesus from time to time .

worst customer service ever. firstly the lady at the cash told me i cant use my sister's SPC card (who was with me) because i was paying not her... i've never had someone say that to me, ever. secondly, i was given 2 spoons (3 of us) so i asked for an extra spoon. the girl said it's 25cents because of covid so pay first then i'll give you it. i was stunned 25 cents for an extra spoon??? would you like me to get covid sharing a spoon instead?! i cant believe the lack of brain cells these workers had (March 16 around 6:20pm). wont ever be coming back to this place. still in shock at the rudeness of the workers they really shouldn't be working a in customer based industry if they don't know how to speak to customers.
