Unfortunately I had high hopes for this Ice cream place but it didn't live up to the 4.8 star reviews. The reason why I gave it only three stars is because the flavors that I got both Black Sesame and Pistachio were not good. I felt the Black Sesame flavor wasn't strong enough at all. As for the Pistachio, the flavor was sort of strange while also having many pistachios that were not cut small enough. My dad got the Butter Pecan and Chocolate flavor. He said that his tasted okay so he let me try some of his Butter Pecan Ice cream and it was a little too sugary. Anyway, I did like how they provide two scoops but sometimes one big one is enough but I think you have to ask just to get one scoop I guess. Yeah but overall an okay experience but just disappointed in the flavors. But of course you can come here yourself to be the judge of how their ice cream is. I think though if you live pretty far from here and want to come to this place, I don't necessarily recommend coming here just because the flavors are okay. 💔🥲🙁

First visit. Friendly staff, she was pleasant and attentive. Can try flavors before purchase. Good amount of ice cream. 3 table seating inside, small interior. No restrooms. I recommend the new flavors, honeycomb candy is my favorite. Will come back.

Wow the Asian flavor ice creams here are amazing!! The Ube tasted nice and yam-like, the black sesame was nutty sesame and fragrant, and the mango sticky rice is the best taste I’ve had for ice cream. It had so much coconut flavor, & the best part is the sticky rice fragrance. If you love sticky rice, you know the fragrance from the rice—I’m blown away how they got the essence into the ice cream. There are also tiny bits of sticky rice in the ice cream. Downside is the mango sticky rice texture is not creamy—it’s very icy!! But flavor and price is good enough to overlook the texture. I got a black sesame pint and that was also icy. 5 stars if the ice cream is creamy, 4 currently because flavors are amazing and not too sweet!

We got their Dole-Pineapple and Thai Tea ice cream flavors, and they were amazing! We were craving Dole-Pineapple (aka Dole Whip), and we were super glad to see a place in Fullerton that sells it. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

Absolutely amazing homemade ice creams! The flavors taste delicious and fresh! We ordered four flavors at once because it was so hard to choose! Mango sticky rice (my favorite!), strawberry cheesecake, Thai tea (second favorite!) and coffee with chocolate. My husband loved the strawberry cheesecake (real strawberry!) Be careful though the coffee with chocolate clearly uses actual coffee, you may not be sleeping if you have it late in the night 😂 There’s a reason this place gets lines real quick, go support! They change their flavors time to time so please note my picture could be outdated by the time you see it!

I am seriously impressed! I tried the cookie butter - my all time favorite flavor - and it blew me away. I’ve had cookie butter at other places, but Sweet Scoops does it better than anyone. It’s creamy, rich, and perfect without being too sweet. You can tell they care about quality. Definitely my new go-to spot!

Cordial & professional service from the young lady at the order counter, who offered my wife & me samples before choosing our flavors. We both took the 2-scoop option in cups; she doubled up on Butter Pecan, while I had Banana Cream Pie & traditional Chocolate. None of the scoops were particularly creamy & some had ice crystals (the latter a sign of poor refrigeration/handling practices). My Banana CP had pleasant flavor, while my scoop of chocolate was probably the most satisfying with good flavor but slightly gummy. Overall, nothing in our experience would incline us to return if visiting the area again; but this Sweet Scoops location seems to be good enough for the local university population to patronize.
